Synopsis:
Yu Luo transmigrated into a male-oriented novel as a supporting female character.
The male lead, Prince Qin, Li Xiao, was a young general whose military achievements shook the empire. Yet, he was framed by the emperor and had his entire clan executed.
After falling into darkness, the Prince hid his true identity within the Yu household, becoming the personal guard of the Yu family’s eldest daughter, Yu Luo.
The eldest daughter of the Yu family was arrogant and domineering, always carrying a whip to lash the servants.
Because Li Xiao was aloof and cold, Yu Luo would often whip him until he was covered in wounds.
Three years later, Li Xiao seized the throne and became the new emperor. The Yu family was executed to the last member, and Yu Luo herself was tortured to death under the lash, her end miserable beyond words.
After transmigrating, Yu Luo felt her head spinning:
What part of the story are we in now? Is there still a chance to change things?
She stepped outside into the courtyard. In the pouring rain, Li Xiao knelt in punishment, his body covered in wounds, his icy expression betraying no emotion.
Yu Luo: “…”
By day, she brought him food; by night, she brought him medicine. Yu Luo gradually felt that the hatred Li Xiao held toward her wasn’t as deep as in the story. Tentatively, she asked:
“When you leave this household in the future… can you forget everything that happened here?”
Li Xiao turned back to look at her.
“Everything else I can forget. The only thing I cannot forget—
is you, my lady.”
