The Five Heartless Scumbag Alphas Turned Against Each Other Because Of Me - Chapter 2
Lu Huaixu was elegance wrapped in dominance—tall, poised, and magnetic. Her sharply tailored designer suit only enhanced the air of dangerous charm and cold-blooded authority she exuded. With her striking features and aristocratic bone structure, she seemed carved from marble—handsome yet refined, aloof yet alluring, as if she’d lived through a thousand storms and remained untouched. The coldness in her gaze contrasted perfectly with the seductive allure in the corners of her eyes and mouth.
At that moment, Lu Huaixu looked down at Tan Hua. The height difference gave her a natural air of superiority. Her pitch-black eyes bore straight into Tan Hua, who had just flinched in pain and nearly cursed out loud—only to stop herself just in time. Lu’s crimson lips curved in amusement.
“Were you about to curse at me?” she asked mockingly.
“N-No, not at all!” Tan Hua shook her head frantically like a bobblehead, voice stiff and dry. “How could I possibly dare insult you?”
“President Lu, you’re devastatingly gorgeous and impossibly charming. Just looking at your face makes me feel joyful and enlightened. Your presence is like the sun itself—radiant and warm. I’m in awe of you! I’d never have the audacity to think anything blasphemous.” Tan Hua babbled out nonsense fluently.
Once the words left her mouth, the air fell into a prolonged silence. In the stillness, the atmosphere thickened with awkward tension.
Tan Hua stood there awkwardly for a moment, then realized she needed to act a little more appropriately nervous. She quickly lowered her head, bit her lip in a pitiful display, and spoke in a delicate voice that gave the system a full-body cringe.
“President Lu, you really hurt me just now…”
Her little face wrinkled with grievance, brows furrowed in sorrow—an image of pitiful beauty.
“Could you… go easier next time?” she asked with a blink of her watery eyes, squeezing out a few artificial tears. “I’m scared of pain…”
Ten thousand yuan per lash was tempting, sure—but if she could earn the same amount with less damage, Tan Hua would gladly take that route.
Lu Huaixu’s fingers didn’t move. Her hands, elegant and long-fingered, were wrapped in flawless ivory skin, so perfect they could be mistaken for a divine sculpture. But Tan Hua wasn’t in the mood to admire beauty—she was terrified, bracing herself for the next possible strike.
No joke—Lu Huaixu’s whip hurt like hell.
But then, Lu’s icy brows softened, a trace of a smile melting the snow in her expression. Her cold exterior gave way to something more fluid—like thawing ice under spring sun.
“It hurt?” Lu said calmly. She adjusted her slacks slightly and sat down at the center of the swing, legs parted just enough. Tan Hua watched her movements warily. Before she could react, her hand was seized, and with a gentle tug—though firm enough—she tumbled straight into Lu Huaixu’s lap.
Lu placed her squarely on her left thigh. Her legs were long and strong, more than capable of holding Tan Hua without the slightest effort. Her breathing didn’t even hitch.
Tan Hua felt a twinge of envy.
Lu gently rolled up Tan Hua’s sleeve and stared at the welt forming on her pale arm. “You’re far too delicate,” she said, almost to herself.
Is that something people say out loud?! Tan Hua nearly rolled her eyes, but managed to hold it in. Instead, she clutched Lu Huaixu’s hand and spoke in a soft, wronged tone.
“President Lu, you’re so powerful and strong… Of course, someone like me—an Omega—can’t handle it.”
While she spoke, her body instinctively leaned into Lu Huaixu’s chest. Her head rested lightly on the woman’s shoulder, breath brushing gently against her neck, laced with a faint floral scent. The unexpected intimacy made Lu Huaixu tense.
It was rare for Alphas to have close contact with Omegas. Physical closeness was usually reserved for confirmed matches with perfect compatibility—or after marriage.
By instinct and genetic programming, Omegas feared Alpha pheromones. It was coded in their bones, from birth to death. So even someone like Lu Huaixu, an S-rank Alpha, had only been near a handful of Omegas.
She may have desired closeness—but the Omegas never did. Most fled at the sight of her, startled like deer in headlights. That’s why Tan Hua’s calm, unafraid proximity now felt so alien to her… and so disorienting.
“You’re different today,” Lu Huaixu murmured with meaning. “But I like this version of you better.”
She wrapped one strong arm around Tan Hua’s back. The thick scent of her Alpha pheromones engulfed Tan Hua, dizzying and overwhelming. Breathing became difficult.
Tan Hua resisted the primal fear rising in her chest, forcing herself to stay still. With a well-practiced blush, she said softly:
“Then… does President Lu want to do anything else to me?”
Her breath brushed against Lu Huaixu’s chin, setting off a tingling, electric shiver.
Lu Huaixu stared at her in silence for a long moment. Then her lips curved in a faint, almost imperceptible smile.
“No.”
She reached up and gently tucked a strand of hair behind Tan Hua’s ear, her movements calm yet charged with subtle intimacy.
“Don’t forget the terms of our agreement.”
Wait… what was the original agreement Tan Hua signed with Lu Huaixu again?
Tan Hua racked her brain, trying to recall the details. If she remembered correctly, Lu Huaixu’s arrangement was for the original host to be her obedient little canary—docile and submissive. Although… the agreement did allow for occasional resistance, just to keep things interesting.
“Of course I haven’t forgotten, President Lu,” Tan Hua murmured sweetly, snuggling up to her. “How could I possibly forget anything you say?”
“Even if I forgot the whole world, I’d never forget your words. Your words are my lifelong creed—engraved deeply into my soul.”
In her mind, the system groaned in exaggerated disgust:
“Ugh~ Host, can you please act normal for once? I’m genuinely scared.”
But Tan Hua ignored the whining voice. Her drama addiction flared up, and she dove even deeper:
“President Lu, you’re my entire world. Without you, I wouldn’t even know how to keep living.”
The more she said, the more nauseatingly cheesy it became. Lu Huaixu’s expression shifted subtly—clearly unaccustomed to this level of cringe. Still, she recovered quickly, casting a satisfied glance downward.
“You performed very well today.”
“Really?” Tan Hua’s eyes lit up as she cautiously asked, “Then… do I get a reward?”
“You weren’t supposed to, but…” Lu Huaixu hooked a finger under her collar. Just as Tan Hua braced herself for a steamy scene, she suddenly felt herself tipping forward—her vision dropped fast toward the ground.
She screamed instinctively, but halfway through the cry, a sharp smack landed square on her butt. Lu Huaixu’s strong palm didn’t hold back.
The fiery pain was oddly… electrifying.
A wave of embarrassment and pleasure crashed over Tan Hua. Shock rooted her in place. That one slap—and she felt like she’d unlocked an entirely new realm of experience.
“System, did I transmigrate into the wrong novel? It’s that kind of story? Isn’t this a little… risky?”
The system’s voice was stiff:
“Assuming no plot glitches… no, Host, you are in the right book.”
After struggling to form coherent thoughts, it finally spat out the most useless sentence in history.
You’re seriously joking with me?
Tan Hua snapped back into character, her eyes reddening from a mix of shame and… something else. Nervously, bashfully, she whispered,
“President Lu…” Her voice was as soft as a mosquito. “You’re amazing. That slap… felt so good.”
The system, despite already being familiar with Tan Hua’s twisted ways, was still left dumbfounded.
How does she say these things with a straight face?
It cast a horrified glance toward Lu Huaixu—only to find the Alpha… enjoying it. Her lips curled with a clearly pleased smile. The intimidating air from earlier softened noticeably.
“Back to the room,” Lu Huaixu said.
She slid her arm around Tan Hua’s waist and, with an effortless motion, lifted her into the air.
Lu Huaixu knew Omegas were physically delicate, but she didn’t expect Tan Hua to be this light. Thin frame, small build, almost like a floating leaf—one squeeze might break her.
Thankfully, while Tan Hua was small, she wasn’t lacking in all the right places.
As Lu Huaixu strode forward with long strides, Tan Hua noticed with relief that the terrifying whip hadn’t come with them. She quietly exhaled.
She inched closer to Lu Huaixu, dainty fingers lightly clutching the lapel of the expensive suit jacket. Her gaze sneakily drifted toward the Alpha’s chiseled collarbone.
Nice body, she decided silently.
Noticing Tan Hua’s roving gaze, Lu Huaixu lowered her head, eyes narrowing. Tan Hua quickly blinked up at her with feigned innocence.
“Something wrong, President Lu?”
She lay quietly in the Alpha’s arms—no struggle, no resistance, no fear. The faint floral scent of her pheromones gently wafted up, tickling Lu Huaixu’s senses and stirring something primal inside her.
A possessive, dominant desire slowly emerged—
The urge to mark her.
Even if just temporarily.
Tan Hua, ever sensitive, noticed the sudden spike in pheromonal pressure. As they approached the bedroom, her instincts screamed. She shrank slightly in Lu Huaixu’s arms.
Alpha pheromones were designed to repel Omega resistance. That invasive cedar scent made her deeply uncomfortable—fear clawed at her from within, ancient and genetic.
By now, Lu Huaixu had laid her gently onto a spotless, plush bed.
The room was thick with her cedar scent. Tan Hua lay still, eyes slightly red as she stared up at her.
Lu Huaixu removed her jacket and slowly rolled up the sleeves of her white shirt, revealing lean, powerful forearms. Every move was elegant and deliberate. She took off her million-yuan watch, then the hair tie from her hair, letting long, silky strands cascade over her shoulders.
She hadn’t even touched her yet, and Tan Hua’s body was already… reacting.
She didn’t want to resist. In fact, her inner wolf was ready to pounce.
The system panicked:
“Host, no! You have a client to meet soon—you still have to see Wen Chuan!”
“If Lu Huaixu marks you now and her pheromones linger, that other deal will fall through!”
The system practically screamed. The outburst yanked Tan Hua back to reality like a cold splash of water. She scrambled to block Lu Huaixu’s advance.
“President Lu, I don’t think that part was in our contract,” she said meekly, then added with practiced hesitation, “But… if you really want to…”
She smiled sweetly and continued, completely deadpan:
“A touch is 100,000. A kiss is 500,000. A bite—5 million. Temporary mark? 10 million. Full penetration? That’s 100 million.”
“But…” she glanced at the luxury watch she’d grabbed from Lu Huaixu’s nightstand, “Your time’s almost up. Just three minutes left. You’ll have to make it quick.”
Lu Huaixu arched a brow, lips curving with amusement.
“Had enough fun yet?”
