Can I still be saved? [Transmigration] - Chapter 47.1
Su Yunjing didn’t buy Fu Hanzhou the candy he’d been promised. Instead, he took his well-behaved little tsundere out for dinner.
After eating, they strolled through a nearby mall, and when their food had settled, went to soak in the hot springs.
Given yesterday’s teasing, Su Yunjing felt a bit awkward entering the water today. He had a white towel wrapped around his waist when he stepped into the steaming pool, and only after sitting down in the water did he finally untie it.
The moment the warmth enveloped him, a comfortable sigh escaped his lips.
When Fu Hanzhou started to move closer, Su Yunjing immediately fired off his threefold rejection: “Sit properly. Don’t move. Don’t even think about coming over.”
Through the drifting mist, Fu Hanzhou’s skin looked flushed and dewy, his expression particularly innocent. “Why not?”
Su Yunjing pushed the damp fringe off his forehead, propping an elbow on the edge of the spring. He closed his eyes and smiled lazily. “No reason. Because I feel like it.”
As he spoke, a loose lock of hair slipped down, the tip brushing his eyelashes.
It tickled, and he blinked it away. That tiny motion landed like a ripple straight on Fu Hanzhou’s heart.
Beside him, the water stirred. Su Yunjing cracked an eye open to see Fu Hanzhou coming over, his brows arching high in silent warning.
Just as he was about to scold the disobedient boy, the other sat down beside him and—imitating Su Yunjing—tilted his head back, eyes closed, exposing the smooth line of his throat and the curve of his Adam’s apple.
Su Yunjing swallowed the words that were on his tongue, closed his eyes again, and decided to just enjoy the bath.
His fingertips rested casually on the water’s surface. Then—ticklish—something brushed against them. A fingertip traced over his nails, tapping once as if testing a boundary.
Su Yunjing ignored it.
A moment later, another touch came, grazing his middle finger this time, even teasing the edge of his nail.
Su Yunjing scoffed inwardly at the childish antics—then swiftly retaliated.
When Fu Hanzhou tapped his ring finger, he caught the offending hand in one quick motion.
The corner of his mouth curved. Eyes still closed, he said, “Confiscated.”
The confiscated finger lay quietly in his palm, finally no longer causing trouble.
…..
After the soak, Su Yunjing wanted to get a proper professional spa treatment. But Fu Hanzhou refused, claiming his finger had been confiscated, meaning he couldn’t be too far away from Su Yunjing.
So, he volunteered to do the massage himself—continuing his practice of his message technique on Su Yunjing’s body.
The massage was so comfortable that Su Yunjing almost drifted off, though he still grumbled, “Chuan Chuan, I have good reason to suspect you stopped me from hiring a real masseur because your technique is too lousy.”
“Mm.”
No matter what Su Yunjing said, Fu Hanzhou held firm to one rule: no one else touches Su Yunjing.
With the little brat refusing to argue, Su Yunjing soon found the whole teasing pointless. A few minutes later, he fell fast asleep.
When Su Yunjing was breathing evenly, Fu Hanzhou leaned down and pressed a soft kiss behind his ear, then quietly slipped out of the room.
Every time a massage was done, the staff would light a calming incense to help guests relax. It worked beautifully.
Su Yunjing slept soundly; by the time he woke, Fu Hanzhou was already back, still massaging his shoulders and back as if he’d never left.
Su Yunjing yawned and held Fu Hanzhou’s hand, “Take a break.”
He’d heard that masseurs had it tough, and since Fu Hanzhou clearly wasn’t trained, his joints must’ve been sore by now.
Fu Hanzhou half knelt beside the chair, watching as Su Yunjing dozed again.
Su Yunjing had just woken up and his eyes were still hazy. He lifted his lids halfway, looking at the man crouched beside him.
Fu Hanzhou right now was like a big loyal dog guarding its master—eyes lowered, quiet and well-behaved.
The thought amused Su Yunjing. He reached out, ruffling the man’s soft hair like petting a dog. “Tired?”
Fu Hanzhou nodded. “Yeah. My hands are a little sore.”
Su Yunjing: “…”
Wasn’t he supposed to say not tired at all? What kind of script was this?
Completely unfazed, Fu Hanzhou added with a straight face, “Consider it an advance payment for my heating bill later.”
Su Yunjing: “…”
No matter how he looked at it, Su Yunjing felt like he was being scammed. He’d wanted a luxurious massage, but Fu Hanzhou had hijacked the experience—and somehow, Su Yunjing even owed him a favor in the end.
Damn. Total loss.
…..
When they left the spa and headed back, Tang Wei came running over, grinning ear to ear.
“Quick, quick! Come see, there’s a fight! I even got a few kicks in!”
Su Yunjing hesitated. “…Do you really think that’s something to brag about?”
Tang Wei spat to the side. “What, that fuc.…”
Noticing Fu Hanzhou’s look, he hurriedly corrected himself: “It’s that bastard who planted condoms in my pocket last night! I didn’t even make him infertile; that’s me being merciful!”
Hearing it was a tale of righteous retribution, Su Yunjing perked up. “Where?”
“In the lounge.”
“And Lin Lie? Haven’t seen him.”
Tang Wei waved it off. “Old Lin’s still there watching the show. I came to get you guys, don’t say I’m not a good brother!”
Su Yunjing: … As expected, Tang Wei was the very definition of thriving on chaos.
Still, since he’d gone out of his way to invite them, Su Yunjing went along, dragging Fu Hanzhou with him.
By the time they arrived, hotel staff had already separated the fighters. But from the splashes of bl00d on the floor, it was clear how brutal it had been.
Su Yunjing didn’t faint at the sight of bl00d, but even he flinched a little at the mess. Worried that Fu Hanzhou might get triggered, he subtly shifted to block the view.
He asked Tang Wei, “How did it start?”
“No idea. Me and Old Lin just heard the noise. When we looked, two groups were already fighting. One guy in particular was ruthless but his head got split open too.”
Tang Wei pointed toward a young man sitting in the corner, being bandaged by the medical staff.
Su Yunjing followed his finger and his brow arched slightly.
Lin Lie, ever sharp-eyed and attentive, caught the change. “You know him?”
It was Xu Huai. But Su Yunjing didn’t want to explain their family ties, so he brushed it off lightly. “We ran into him this morning at the hotel.”
Lin Lie uttered an “Oh”, but his gaze flicked toward Fu Hanzhou, who had stayed silent the entire time. He thought he’d seen Fu Hanzhou near the scuffle earlier, but he couldn’t be sure.
Although those foreigners were badly injured, Xu Huai wasn’t much better off either. His nose was broken during the fight, and his scalp was split, bl00d still matted in his hair.
The hotel’s medical staff performed a basic treatment, but his nose would need hospital treatment. They had already called the emergency number.
With such a big commotion, even if the hotel staff didn’t call the police, other guests would have done so in a panic.
Getting hauled into a foreign police station—Xu Huai was in deep trouble now.
Su Yunjing, who had worried Xu Huai might try to provoke him again, didn’t expect the man to dig his own grave first.
Tang Wei, gleeful with revenge, was in too good a mood. He invited them both back to his room to watch a movie.
A new blockbuster had just come out, and though Tang Wei had missed it in theaters, the hotel’s paid channels already had it.
Watching movies was always more fun with a crowd.
Su Yunjing, having recently slept in the massage parlor, was refreshed and, with nothing better to do, decided to go to Tang Wei’s room to watch a movie.
The hotel’s TV was a massive 60-inch screen—nowhere near a cinema, but the visuals were still quite good.
The movie had just recently come out, grossing $800 million worldwide and remaining at the top of the box office for several weeks.
The plot, about aliens invading Earth and using humans as breeding tools—something between Alien and The Thing—with enough gore to make anyone queasy.
The first two minutes were gripping.
A dark alley outside a bar, a man and woman flirting, kissing hungrily— and then the blonde beauty suddenly split open like an oozing lava cake, spewing writhing green worms that swallowed the man whole.
“Fucking hell!”
Tang Wei yelped, recoiling so hard he spilled half his chips.
Su Yunjing instinctively clapped a hand over Fu Hanzhou’s eyes, afraid the scene might set him off.
Had he known it would be this kind of movie, he wouldn’t have brought him.
“You okay?” he asked quietly.
Fu Hanzhou adapted well, and the plot of the movie did not cause him any discomfort. He was not afraid of bl00d, nor was he afraid of bugs.
Only in certain circumstances would he feel uncomfortable with bl00d and bugs, and the rest of the time Fu Hanzhou didn’t care at all.
He hooked a finger around the hem of Su Yunjing’s shirt, still warm from his skin, his fingertips couldn’t help but curl up.
He leaned against Su Yunjing and said in a clear voice, “It’s okay.”
He said he was fine, but his face didn’t exactly match the words. Su Yunjing lowered his shoulder a little so he could rest more comfortably.
Tang Wei appeared to be a hot-tempered middle school boy, but in reality, he would be scared for a long time even watching a horror movie.
He had heard that this movie had a lot of disgusting scenes, and he thought that since there were more people, he should be able to do it, but who knew that the opening would be so terrible.
He was so disgusted by the scene that the cucumber-flavored potato chips in his hand instantly lost their flavor. He threw them directly to Lin Lie, “Here’s a reward for you.”
Lin Lie glanced at him sideways, ignoring Tang Wei’s usual bad mouth, and simply said, “Pick up the potato chips you dropped on the floor.”
Tang Wei shrugged. “The cleaners will come in the morning.”
Lin Lie had obsessive-compulsive disorder, and seeing the mess, he said coldly, “Don’t even think about going to bed tonight if you don’t clean up the crumbs.”
Tang Wei knew his bad habit and started to clean up while cursing.
Lin Lie ignored him, grabbed the remote control from the floor and switched to a superhero-themed popcorn movie.
Su Yunjing perked up after the lighthearted film and grabbed a bag of Cheetos.
He tore open the package and fed some to Little tsundere before trying some himself.
It had been a long time since he’d eaten junk food like this. Back in the day, his favorites were instant noodles, spicy strips, pickled chicken feet, and marinated tofu.
Fu Hanzhou, ever quick to repay kindness, pulled out a chocolate bar from his pocket.
Su Yunjing couldn’t help laughing. “Why do you always give me chocolate?”
Fu Hanzhou broke off a piece and said, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.”
Su Yunjing didn’t know which custom he was following, and just as he was about to ask, Fu Hanzhou stuffed a piece of chocolate into his mouth.
Su Yunjing: “…”
