A Flirtatious Beauty Alpha Provokes a Crazy Omega - Chapter 10
Chapter 10: The Kiss
“Okay, very good. The movements and emotions were great. Let’s shoot it just like that.”
Jiang Qu called out, “Five-minute break before the official take.”
Jiang Mi pulled her hand away and stepped back so fast it was like she vanished.
Her face was red, her ears were red, her lips were red from being bitten.
“Miss Yan, did I hurt you?” she asked.
Yan Wei calmly slowed her breathing. She gave her a glance, shook her head without speaking, and brushed her hand over her styled hair to cover the throbbing glands on her neck.
Jiang Qu came over and gave Jiang Mi a few notes on things to improve. In front of Yan Wei, she added, “Just now, Yan Wei helped guide you through a lot. You should thank her properly.”
Jiang Mi understood the deeper meaning—not just acting, but also in terms of leading the dialogue and physical movements, Yan Wei had been directing her.
“I know. Thank you, Miss Yan. I’ll work hard to do better from now on. I won’t hold everyone back—especially not Miss Yan.” She spoke earnestly, then gave Yan Wei a bright smile.
Yan Wei saw that dazzling smile and gave a soft acknowledgment, but her expression seemed colder than before.
Jiang Mi blinked. She couldn’t tell what she’d said wrong.
But again, she smelled that familiar scent of brandy—although not as strong as before when it had lingered in her breath.
For no reason, the spot on her neck began to heat up slightly.
Not her gland—but the spot where Yan Wei had kissed her.
A stylist approached them and reached out to tuck the hem of Yan Wei’s lace shirt back into her skirt. Yan Wei instinctively avoided the touch and replied politely but coldly, “I’ll do it myself.”
Yan Wei gripped the coarse fabric of the shirt. Her waist tingled faintly. The skin where that rough hand had grazed felt like it had been scorched—or maybe it was reacting, as if allergic.
Hot. Itchy.
An irritated restlessness started to rise inside her. She suppressed the nerve-stirring agitation, forcing calm back over her body like a blanket of numbness.
And yet, she loved this feeling—of being out of control, yet forced to suppress it. The wait for composure was torment—but also laced with pleasure.
Her eyes cast downward, masking the shadows and frustration inside.
Filming resumed.
Liang Yongping was pulled into the fitting room.
Qin Shui hugged her, planting a kiss on her neck full of resentment and longing. Liang Yongping heard Qin Shui’s “threat.”
“Hug me, and I’ll let go.”
At first, she was panicked and worried. Outside—no, there wasn’t even a door, just a curtain that could be pulled aside at any moment. Beyond the curtain was her fiancée, Bai Xiao… If Bai Xiao saw them, everything would be over.
Her whole life, her future—it would all be ruined.
She hugged Qin Shui, showing a bit of weakness.
“I want you to hug me like I hug you,” Qin Shui’s voice was fluid, cold and tempting.
Then suddenly, Liang Yongping felt a surge of anger. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. If not for Qin Shui, none of this would’ve happened. She wouldn’t have to take such risks, live each day in fear, constantly afraid of being exposed!
Why did Qin Shui have to appear? Why force her like this?
Resentment and hatred surged up all at once. She bit her lip and shoved Qin Shui away hard.
She heard Qin Shui let out a soft groan of pain—even the sound of her pain sounded indecent, and it was driving her mad.
In revenge, Liang Yongping lifted Qin Shui’s shirt and grabbed that soft, supple waist with force. Qin Shui leaned back against the wall, lips curling into a smile, her expression switching between pained and breathless.
With narrowed eyes, she enjoyed it, certain: “Liang Yongping, you love me. Otherwise, you wouldn’t look at me like that.”
In that instant, Jiang Mi momentarily lost focus.
It was like her heart had suddenly been clenched tight. She stared at Yan Wei’s emotional expression, mentally captivated. For a second, she felt a flush of heat trickle down from her waist, spreading through her legs.
Yan Wei was too natural—she made everything feel real.
So Jiang Mi fell into the role.
Too into it.
Even her body.
No.
Jiang Mi quickly snapped herself out of it—they were acting.
…
Liang Yongping grew angrier.
Her furious expression was all Qin Shui needed to be convinced.
Qin Shui repeated, “You love me.”
Liang Yongping’s eyes fluttered shut. After a moment, she said, “Let me go.”
“You don’t love her—why can’t you leave her?”
“I can’t.” She swallowed the pain.
In that moment, Yongping understood. She loved Qin Shui. But right now, she loved herself more. Qin Shui had entered her chaotic life, made it worse at times, more vibrant at others. Her life had begun to sprout like a seed, as if spring had arrived.
And she hated that spring. If she had never known beauty, she might have obeyed this miserable life until death. But now, she was full of loathing—for Qin Shui, for herself, for the whole cruel world.
It twisted inside her. She wanted to die.
She pleaded with Qin Shui: End it.
Liang Yongping straightened up, eyes wet with tears. Qin Shui’s hand brushed her cheek gently. “What a shame,” she said tenderly. “I can’t either.”
The next second, Bai Xiao’s voice came from outside the curtain. Liang Yongping jolted in panic.
But she had no time to react—Qin Shui suddenly leaned in and kissed her.
Jiang Mi had never filmed a kissing scene before. The warmth and softness caught her completely off guard. Her lips reflexively pressed together.
Yan Wei noticed Jiang Mi’s eyes were open, her lips awkwardly caught between the alpha’s lips. And then, an absurd thought popped into her head…
If these lips were wrapped around something else, what would it feel like?
