A Pair of Evil Women's Love - Chapter 52
Chapter 52: [VIP]
The moon was bright and the stars were sparse. Car horns blared outside the window. The security guard downstairs had just chased away a group of people and sent a message to Fu Haitang, telling her it was safe to leave.
Only then did Fu Haitang turn off her computer and leave the office.
Downstairs, she found her car’s tires had been deflated.
Fu Haitang: “…”
Where was she going to stay tonight? Back to the office?
It seemed like her only option.
Fu Yilan was already asleep when a call from someone woke her up. It was after 2 a.m. Fu Haitang, instead of going home, had come to find her. Fu Yilan opened the door, and the person scurried in like a monkey in a hurry.
Fu Haitang: “I’m staying with you for the night.”
Fu Yilan looked at the time and said, “It’s too late. I’m not in the mood for anything saucy.”
“What are you talking about!” Fu Haitang went straight to the bathroom. “I’m going to take a shower. By the way… where’s the underwear I bought you? I don’t have a clean pair. Give me the other set.”
Fu Yilan did as she was told. She was truly tired, and she had taken an inhibitor during the day, so she wasn’t in the mood. She lay down and fell asleep shortly after.
Fu Haitang came out smelling of a fragrant shower gel. Her pheromones were covered by the scent, leaving only a faint, subtle smell. When she dried her hair and lay down in bed, only a small lamp on the bedside table was on.
Fu Haitang carefully snuggled up behind Fu Yilan. The Omega seemed to be asleep. With a slight movement, she nestled into Fu Haitang’s arms.
The person in her arms was sleeping soundly, softly, and sweetly. Their position was a back-to-back hug, but the person’s sleeping posture was poor. She liked to arch her back and stick out her butt, so her soft bottom was perfectly pressed against Fu Haitang’s lower abdomen.
Fu Haitang: “…”
Was she doing it on purpose? Fu Haitang couldn’t help but wonder. The position was just too intimate. If it had been during her heat cycle and she hadn’t taken an inhibitor, it would be strange if nothing happened.
Now, Fu Yilan was sleeping soundly, but Fu Haitang was tossing and turning, unable to sleep. She turned to face Fu Yilan. She couldn’t stand the way the person was sleeping so soundly, so she reached out and touched her underwear. The person didn’t react at all.
Fu Haitang sighed. Just as she was about to move her hand away, she caught a glimpse of the person’s bright red earlobe under the night light. She was stunned, and then she realized that Fu Yilan was pretending to be asleep. The corners of her mouth turned up. Fu Haitang suppressed her smile. The soft thing in her hand quickly changed.
She wasn’t just touching. Her mouth was busy, too. Perhaps she was annoyed by the kisses, so Fu Yilan raised her hand and waved it away, swatting Fu Haitang like a mosquito.
Fu Haitang laughed and pulled back. It was almost 3 a.m. and she really shouldn’t be fooling around anymore. She quietly studied Fu Yilan’s profile. It was a shame. Once an Omega found pleasure in physical intimacy…
She was like a puppy who had a taste of meat. Her eyes would light up, and her mouth would water when she saw the forbidden zone. Her eyes couldn’t help but fly to the white neckline of Fu Yilan’s pajamas.
She must be crazy, Fu Haitang thought. At this moment, she just wanted to be immersed in this wonderful feeling forever.
Fu Yilan’s breathing was calm. She was already in a deep sleep. Whenever Fu Haitang slept with her, she could sleep very well. She didn’t know why, but even though Fu Haitang had used and hurt her, she couldn’t help but trust her.
They were meant to be enemies, Fu Yilan sighed in her heart.
“I think I can’t live without you.” The Omega sighed.
Fu Yilan was stunned. Her sleepiness flew away. She opened her eyes. At that moment, the light behind her was turned off. Fu Haitang had turned her back and was lying down. The corner of the quilt slipped down an inch at her waist. The person had carefully pulled it up to cover her body.
Fu Yilan didn’t dare to make a sound. Her face was bright red. The joy of having her secret exposed was just too much. Fu Haitang’s scent rushed into her nostrils like the wind. The small, mosquito-like movements behind her seemed to be magnified tenfold, a hundredfold.
She was stunned, standing still in place. Her mind was a chaotic mess, making her feel dizzy, and her heart was restless, as if something was about to burst out of the ground!
“Fu…” Fu Yilan opened her mouth, but quickly raised her hand to cover it. No, it was too soon. It shouldn’t be at this time. At least… at least not until her parents’ issues were resolved.
Her heart was pounding. The words “can’t live without you” seemed to be more tormenting than a kiss, a hug, or a night of passion.
Fu Yilan was completely sleepless.
It wasn’t until the alarm rang and the person next to her got up and left with a tired body that Fu Yilan got up and sat up. The clock pointed to five o’clock. Fu Haitang had left her room early to go back to the office to rest.
Fu Yilan hugged her knees and grabbed the pillow, kneading it hard, wanting to vent something!
By the time it was light, Fu Yilan had only slept for two hours. Today, besides training and some recording sessions, she unexpectedly received another call. The person claimed to be from an entertainment company and wanted to meet with Fu Yilan.
An entertainment company?
Fu Yilan frowned. “How did you get my number?”
The person on the other end of the phone laughed. “I found your contact information on your Weibo homepage. Your phone number was given to me by your assistant.”
“Assistant?” Fu Yilan walked to the window and wiped the sweat from her forehead. She didn’t remember having an assistant. “Please wait a moment. I’ll ask.”
She hung up and clicked on her Weibo account, only to find it.
Who else could it be?
She called back and agreed to the meeting invitation. After hanging up, she called Director Fu to ask for time off.
Fu Haitang: “Going to a meeting?”
Pretending, Fu Yilan cursed in her heart.
“Did you confirm it’s not a scam?” Fu Haitang’s voice was filled with laughter.
Fu Yilan “hmm’ed”. “My assistant confirmed it for me.”
“Miss Fu has an assistant? When did you hire one?” Fu Haitang feigned surprise.
Fu Yilan: “Yes, but I didn’t hire one. It was an assistant who was sent to me.”
The Omega’s tone was teasing. Fu Haitang coughed twice, then immediately approved two hours of leave for Fu Yilan during mealtime, allowing her to go out. “Be careful.”
Fu Yilan had little experience with entertainment companies, so she immediately asked, “What should I do?”
Fu Haitang teased: “Oh~ You don’t know anything but you still dare to go to a meeting?”
Fu Yilan: “…”
The call was cut off. Fu Yilan went back to her room to shower and change. After greeting her teammates, she left the TV station and took a taxi to the destination for her appointment.
The meeting was at a starred restaurant. The decor was somewhat ancient, not for business, but more like a Japanese-style private room for a date. Fu Yilan frowned. She told the front desk the room number, and a waiter led her to the private room.
Fu Haitang: “She’s a great find. You’re not the first person to see her potential, but for her first time, will it be a good idea to play the lead role…”
“This way, please.” The voice of the restaurant manager came from outside the private room. Fu Haitang stopped talking. She moved her hand from the table to her knee and clenched it into a fist, looking at the door of the private room.
The door was pushed open.
“You’re here!” Fu Haitang stood up and smiled at the person at the door.
Fu Yilan: “…” It would be a lie to say she wasn’t surprised, but it was also expected. After Fu Haitang screened the agency负责人, it would be strange if she didn’t show up.
Fu Haitang: “Why are you standing there? Come in. This young talent is the head of Happy Agency, Chen Lang. You two should get to know each other.”
Chen Lang was wearing a suit and glasses, looking quite refined. He extended his right hand to Fu Yilan. “Hello, Miss Fu. It’s true that seeing is better than hearing. You’re more than ten times prettier than on TV.”
“Hello, Mr. Chen.” Fu Yilan shook hands with Chen Lang. Chen Lang’s hand was quick to let go. He only held two of Fu Yilan’s finger bones, as if he was trying to avoid suspicion.
Fu Haitang’s fists clenched even tighter, her fingertips digging into her flesh. She glanced at the woman next to the table. When she saw her tightly furrowed brows, she even held her breath.
Fu Yilan: “Let’s order.”
“I’ll do it,” Chen Lang pulled the menu over and said to Fu Haitang, “The shrimp at this restaurant is especially delicious. Even a picky eater like me loves it. I’m sure you’ll like it too, Director Fu. Give it a try?”
Fu Haitang hesitated, looking at the woman.
Fu Yilan’s lips curled. “Why are you looking at me?”
Fu Haitang: “…”
Chen Lang ordered a bunch of shrimp. Every time he ordered a dish, he would mumble, “I’ve eaten this, I’ve eaten this, everything is good.” He swallowed his words again. Fu Haitang shook her head. “I have no dietary restrictions. Do you want something to drink?”
Chen Lang laughed. “I wouldn’t dare to be presumptuous with a beautiful lady.”
It was rare to talk business without drinking. Seeing Chen Lang’s behavior, Fu Haitang admired him a little. “Okay, let’s listen to Mr. Chen.”
This was getting interesting. Fu Yilan sized up Chen Lang, then sat down. She subconsciously glanced at the woman next to her. The woman was dressed casually, with fair skin and black hair like seaweed. Seeing Fu Yilan’s gaze, she just nodded slightly.
What a cold and distant demeanor. Fu Yilan smiled, picked up a teacup, and took a sip. Then she took off her hat and handed it to the manager. “Director Fu likes Japanese style, have you ordered yet?”
Fu Yilan looked down at the menu. She didn’t say anything, but the vortex on the top of her head seemed to be conveying a sense of sullenness.
Fu Haitang asked, “Do you have any dietary restrictions? See what you like? Should we ask the kitchen to add two more dishes?”
“I don’t…” Fu Yilan’s words were cut off.
The private room door was pushed open from the outside. The chef came in with a cart. Chen Lang said loudly, “The dishes have arrived, Director Fu. Come and see. Is this raw fish what I told you about? Blue flesh! You’re in for a treat today! This fish sashimi is limited.”
Fu Yilan frowned slightly. “Director Fu, you have such good taste.”
Fu Haitang: “…” Why did she feel like she was being mocked?
The raw fish was cut first. The chef showed off his knife skills in front of them. During this time, Fu Haitang and Chen Lang praised him repeatedly. The two of them were in sync, and the atmosphere in the private room was lively. They seemed like old friends.
Fu Yilan started to drink her Nth cup of tea.
As if she felt that the Omega was not in high spirits, Fu Haitang scanned her with a questioning look. Fu Yilan noticed but ignored her. Fu Haitang still kept a polite smile, but her legs under the table didn’t spare Fu Yilan. She gave the Omega a hard kick in her direction.
Fu Yilan: “…”
Fu Yilan straightened her slouching back. “Ahem.” Her expression improved a little.
But it made Fu Haitang feel a little confused. She felt that Fu Yilan was not right, but she couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong.
The dishes were served one by one. Chen Lang put on a disposable glove and peeled shrimp while talking to Fu Haitang.
How old are you? Where did you go to school? He said she looked young… and then asked if she was in a relationship.
Fu Haitang answered them one by one. Only the last question made her slightly hesitant. Chen Lang pushed the peeled shrimp in front of Fu Haitang. “Hmm? Why aren’t you saying anything?”
“…” Fu Haitang finally realized something was wrong. Weren’t they here to talk about Fu Yilan’s management contract? She held her chopsticks, not knowing where to start with the bowl of shrimp. She didn’t dare to look at Fu Yilan. “I’m sorry, I actually…”
“Eat,” Chen Lang urged.
Fu Haitang: “…”
“Does Director Fu not eat the shrimp heads?” Fu Yilan came to her rescue. She took off the pearl bracelet on her wrist, slightly rolled up her sleeve to her forearm, and took the plate from in front of Fu Haitang. “I’ll do it. I’ll peel you a plate without shrimp heads.”
Chen Lang: “?”
“No need…” Fu Haitang said immediately. It was too late. The woman’s long, slender fingers were peeling the shrimp with a smooth and neat motion, showing that she was used to eating them. In a short while, she had peeled a small bowl of shrimp tails and placed it in front of Fu Haitang.
Fu Yilan smiled. “Eat. Which one are you eating?”
Fu Haitang: “…”
Chen Lang: “?”
Fu Haitang’s hand holding the chopsticks relaxed and tightened, then relaxed again. She lowered her eyes and ate the shrimp, hiding her unnatural expression. Then she looked up. “Mr. Chen, I haven’t considered my personal life yet, haha, you’ve made me laugh. Let’s talk about business.”
Fu Yilan took a tissue and wiped her hands. Her expression was relaxed. “Alright.”
Chen Lang looked at Fu Haitang, then suddenly smiled and put down his chopsticks. “Okay, let’s talk business.”
It was an hour later when they saw Chen Lang off.
“I…” Fu Haitang stood up and left her seat. “I’m going to the restroom!”
“Are you happy?” Her wrist was grabbed. Fu Yilan’s calloused palm wrapped around her slender, fair wrist. Fu Haitang felt a tickle and tried to struggle free. The more she struggled, the tighter the grip became. “What’s wrong? You want to be in a relationship?”
