Chen Nan seemed to sense it, turned her head, and smiled at Jiang Yuetong, “It’s nothing, a simple bandaging will be fine in a moment. Fortunately, it didn’t hit the children; if it had hit their head, that would have been disastrous.”

Jiang Yuetong bit her lip, seeing the bl00d on Chen Nan’s hand already dripping onto the ground along her fingers. She asked, “Are you really okay?”

Chen Nan smiled and said, “What’s there to worry about? It feels much better than when you talk back to annoy me. Losing this little bit of bl00d is a thousand times better than the feeling after riding a roller coaster.”

After leaving the amusement park, Jiang Yuetong said, “Wait for me here for a minute, I’ll be right back.” With that, Jiang Yuetong quickly ran off.

Chen Nan, under the huge Guangzhou sun, was feeling restless, wondering where Jiang Yuetong had gone.

A moment later, Jiang Yuetong returned, holding a bottle of purified water and some gauze.

“Let me see,” Jiang Yuetong said, turning Chen Nan’s hand over. It was covered in bl00d, making it impossible to see the wound clearly. Jiang Yuetong opened the water bottle and used the pure water to wash Chen Nan’s hand.

“Doing this is useless, we’re going to get it bandaged right now anyway,” Chen Nan said impatiently. Chen Nan had always been like this in her actions, never doing anything futile.

“Let’s just do a simple bandaging first, it won’t take long.” As the water slowly washed away the bl00d, a very deep and long cut was exposed. “This might need stitches.”

Jiang Yuetong gave Chen Nan a simple bandage and then they went to the hospital.

“It’s okay, it’s an automatic transmission, so I don’t need to constantly move the gear lever. It’ll be fine if I drive slowly. Besides, I have to drive the car back somehow,” Chen Nan said.

“Then don’t drive me home today, I’ll go back by myself.” At this point, Jiang Yuetong and Chen Nan were already sitting in the car.

“You liar!” Jiang Yuetong, not caring that she hadn’t finished dressing, attacked Chen Nan with both hands, punching her repeatedly. Chen Nan blocked with her uninjured hand, shouting, “I’m in so much pain, did you forget about my hand!”

Jiang Yuetong stopped her hands, quickly put on her clothes, and ignored Chen Nan, sitting there sulking, her face flushed red.

Chen Nan knew she was in the wrong, obediently drove with her eyes fixed forward. However, her biggest regret at the moment was not taking advantage of the chaos to grope her. “Then what do you do when you go to the public bathhouse? There are all women there, do you not let people look at you?” Chen Nan looked at the glaring Jiang Yuetong and asked.

“Haven’t I said sorry? I only genuinely said sorry today.” Chen Nan turned her face and looked at Jiang Yuetong.

“When?” Jiang Yuetong couldn’t remember at all, maybe she was too angry.

“The first thing I said after throwing up on the roller coaster today. It seems even my sincere apology is useless, since you don’t remember anyway.” Chen Nan looked at Jiang Yuetong’s eyes, which sparkled.

“Really?” Jiang Yuetong turned her head and raised an eyebrow, asking.

“Really,” Chen Nan answered obediently. “I really did something wrong! I shouldn’t have peeked at you changing clothes, alright?”

Jiang Yuetong nodded, a smile uncontrollably appearing at the corner of her mouth. It was truly difficult to get Chen Nan to admit she was wrong voluntarily.

“Alright, can I leave now? I’m not angry anymore.” Jiang Yuetong rubbed her eyes. She was also tired after a whole day of activities.

“Fine, but you can never wear this outfit again,” Chen Nan said, pointing at the one Jiang Yuetong was wearing, and then looked around. “Fortunately, it’s dark now, and no one can see you.” Chen Nan adjusted Jiang Yuetong’s clothes again before watching her leave.

It wasn’t too late when she got back today; her mother was still watching TV. Seeing Jiang Yuetong return, her mother asked, “Where did you go today, and with whom?”

“Just shopping, didn’t really go anywhere to play.” Jiang Yuetong felt particularly tired and went straight into her room to rest.
