A White Cloud (GL ABO) - Chapter 27
Sweat glistened on Shen Zhiqing’s fair body.
A few strands of hair stuck to her skin.
Tomb Cheng lifted her hand and gently brushed them away, smoothing the scattered strands.
Her fingertips moved so tenderly that it made people’s hearts flutter for her.
In such matters, Omega was always at a slight disadvantage.
Tomb Cheng asked with concern at just the right moment, “Are you okay?”
Shen Zhiqing hooked her arms around her neck and buried her face in her shoulder.
She shook her head lightly and spoke with a slightly hoarse voice, “I’m thirsty.”
“Is there water in the house?”
The head nestled in her arms nodded slightly.
Tomb Cheng understood and didn’t rush to get up. She continued to ask, “Should I carry you there?”
“Hmm.” Shen Zhiqing nodded.
Her flushed cheeks felt warm.
So, Tomb Cheng lifted her from the bed.
The softened c0ck slipped out of the pvssy naturally.
The lascivious fluids that were trapped inside dripped onto the bedsheet, staining it with a wet fluid.
The ash-gray sheet changed color instantly.
Tomb Cheng glanced at her.
Shen Zhiqing averted her eyes and murmured softly, “There’s a spare sheet.”
Tomb Cheng carried her and stepped barefoot on the floor.
Each step left deep footprints on the ground.
The bed’s placement in the living room meant everything was just a few steps away.
Tomb Cheng, being tall, took large strides.
Shen Zhiqing hung onto her, following along.
Tomb Cheng opened the fridge door and froze.
The top two shelves were stacked with various flavors of yogurt in 100 ml cups.
Seeing one of them, she instantly recalled Shen Zhiqing’s earlier words.
“Mu Mu tastes like ice cream.”
The fridge’s cold air seeped out.
The naked body couldn’t withstand the sudden chill and instinctively shrank closer to her.
Seeing Tomb Cheng still dazed, Shen Zhiqing looked up and saw the neatly arranged items under the white light.
Shen Zhiqing glanced at Tomb Cheng’s expression, which didn’t seem too intimidating.
Unsure of her thoughts, she casually said, “What’s wrong?”
Tomb Cheng gave her a suspicious look, shook her head, and reached for a bottle of drinking water from the lower shelf.
She closed the fridge door in silence.
She leaned back slightly against the marble countertop.
One hand held Shen Zhiqing’s waist, letting her press against her body.
The other hand reached behind to unscrew the bottle cap single-handedly.
She handed the water to Shen Zhiqing; some spilled liquid trickled down her forearm.
“Thank you,” Shen Zhiqing said softly, taking the bottle.
She looked up at Tomb Cheng, “Can you still carry me?”
Tomb Cheng met her gaze. Her tone was flat, revealing no emotion, “Want to get down?”
“No,” Shen Zhiqing pouted.
She took two sips of water and quickly shoved the bottle back into Tomb Cheng’s hand, as if afraid she’d be put down.
Her legs wrapped tightly around Tomb Cheng’s waist.
The bottle still had more than half left.
Tomb Cheng was thirsty and tilted her head back, gulping it down in a few swallows.
The female Alpha’s throat had a slight cartilage bulge, more noticeable when she swallowed.
Shen Zhiqing watched her quietly, unnoticed.
After quenching her thirst, Tomb Cheng carried her to the bathroom for a quick rinse.
She then diligently changed the bedsheet to a clean one.
After finishing, she tucked Shen Zhiqing into the blankets.
Per their agreement, Tomb Cheng was supposed to stay overnight.
But she worried about Xu Yiyi and suggested checking on her.
“You won’t not come back, right?”
Shen Zhiqing hid half her face under the blanket.
Only her bright eyes sparkled in the dark.
Stray hairs covered her ears.
Tomb Cheng reached out to brush them aside.
She had dressed, and aside from her damp black hair, she was clean.
Her gentle voice echoed in Shen Zhiqing’s ears, “I will.”
Shen Zhiqing clutched the blanket tighter, staring at her.
She spoke in a soft, tender voice, “Then hurry back.”
Tomb Cheng hummed in agreement, slipped on her slippers, and shuffled across the floor to the other side.
She didn’t close the door.
Shen Zhiqing heard faint cat meows from the other side.
A few seconds later, the ragdoll cat strutted back across the hallway.
Shen Zhiqing watched it leap onto the foot of the bed.
It wagged its tail at her, “Meow~”
The ragdoll’s black ears had a few tiny fluff balls stuck to them, likely from scratching something.
Shen Zhiqing tried calling it, “Bread.”
Xu Yiyi had named it.
It was Shen Zhiqing’s first time calling it.
The little creature seemed to understand, its ears twitching.
Bread stood up from her leg, its paws rustling the blanket.
“Meow~” It lay beside Shen Zhiqing, rolling over to show its belly. Its head nuzzled against her.
The little creature’s tail swished in the air, brushing her arm through the blanket.
Its blue eyes darted around, eagerly trying to please its owner.
Looking at it, Shen Zhiqing recalled the turtle she accidentally killed as a child.
Fang Qing had left her a turtle that was easy to care for, but after Fang Qing’s death, Shen Zhiqing let it die too.
When Tomb Cheng returned, she found Shen Zhiqing staring at Bread, so lost in thought she didn’t notice someone entering her private space.
Tomb Cheng frowned.
Shen Zhiqing’s sense of safety was far too low.
“Senior.”
She called several times before Shen Zhiqing snapped back.
Shen Zhiqing looked up at her, confused, “What’s wrong?”
Tomb Cheng frowned, words stuck in her throat.
“Is she asleep?”
Tomb Cheng had come to say this, vaguely worried, “She’s sleeping restlessly.”
Xu Yiyi seemed to have had a nightmare earlier.
When Tomb Cheng went over, the girl was clutching a panda plushie.
Tomb Cheng turned on the bedside lamp and comforted her briefly, which helped a little.
Shen Zhiqing quickly adjusted her emotions.
She propped herself up and sat on the bed.
Bread hopped off her and squatted nearby.
Its gray-blue eyes watched its owner, its tail affectionately brushing her collarbone.
“Then let’s go over,” Shen Zhiqing said, starting to get out of bed.
After the shower, Tomb Cheng had only put a sleep dress on her, leaving her bare underneath.
Tomb Cheng, looking down at her, noticed the faint outline at her chest and quietly turned her head, “Hmm.”
Xu Yiyi was still young.
Tomb Cheng came to ask if she wanted to sleep over there.
Their relationship was clear now, each taking what they needed.
As a doctor and neighbor, Shen Zhiqing could help Tomb Cheng care for Xu Yiyi in various ways.
Tomb Cheng had considered asking others for help, but due to Xu Yiyi’s condition, she agreed to Shen Zhiqing’s suggestion.
After tidying up, Tomb Cheng asked for Shen Zhiqing’s consent and took the yellow cat bed, placing it at Xu Yiyi’s bedroom door.
The slightly ajar door let her hear any sounds.
The bedrooms were adjacent, separated by one wall, so Tomb Cheng wasn’t worried about missing anything.
In the new place, Shen Zhiqing still didn’t leave her arms.
In the quiet night, the two adults who had just been intimate couldn’t sleep.
Tomb Cheng recalled her earlier question, “Why doesn’t Yiyi recognize you?”
