A White Cloud (GL ABO) - Chapter 47
The school arranged four buses.
Tomb Cheng estimated roughly that at least twenty families joined the trip.
She stuffed their two suitcases into the bus’s luggage compartment.
Shen Zhiqing held Xu Yiyi’s hand, waiting nearby.
The three stood together, looking like a family at first glance.
Tomb Cheng dressed Xu Yiyi in long overalls.
A light pink blouse tucked into mint-green overalls, paired with tiny sneakers, gave her a cute charm.
Looking at herself, Tomb Cheng wore dark green coveralls, cuffs tucked into black ankle boots.
Her casually tied half-bun made her look youthful, and her sharp, handsome face drew glances from other families’ Omegas.
But her clear eyes, framed by silver glasses, stayed on Shen Zhiqing and Xu Yiyi.
She thoughtfully brought them sun hats and sunglasses, saying, “Don’t get sunburned.”
April’s ultraviolet rays weren’t as bad as she made it sound.
Shen Zhiqing, holding Xu Yiyi’s hand, waved at Alpha, saying, “We should board now.”
Shen Zhiqing’s black dress had cute pink petals embroidered on it.
Xu Yiyi secretly touched them, and both adults pretended not to notice.
Tomb Cheng bent down, asking Xu Yiyi if she wanted to be carried.
The little one looked at her mother silently.
Tomb Cheng fondly patted her hat, took her other hand, and boarded the bus.
The school arranged luxurious accommodations.
When they swiped in, Tomb Cheng inwardly marveled at why the study trip’s fees were so high.
The place gleamed with opulence and sophistication.
The suite had only one bed.
While Tomb Cheng pondered sleeping arrangements, Shen Zhiqing already led Xu Yiyi to explore the room’s small toys.
Since it was a study trip, each room had educational games.
Xu Yiyi immediately liked the stacking blocks for a plug-in game.
Shen Zhiqing, observant, noticed the subtle change on her face, picked up the block set, and turned to Tomb Cheng, who was unpacking, saying, “Mu Mu, can we play this together tonight?”
Tomb Cheng glanced up, carefully hanging Xu Yiyi’s clean clothes in the wardrobe, and said, “Sure.”
Shen Zhiqing turned back, seeing Xu Yiyi staring up at her.
She smiled gently, mimicked Tomb Cheng by patting her head, and whispered a secret, “This is our little trio’s secret.”
Doctor Shen casually explained the nickname, easing Xu Yiyi’s guard.
Whatever the reason, Shen Zhiqing hoped Xu Yiyi would open up to her.
That afternoon, the lead teacher took them to a stream near the hotel for sketching.
It was less about drawing and more about seeing the world through the children’s eyes—a basic psychological test.
Tomb Cheng didn’t know the purpose of these activities.
Shen Zhiqing, while talking, subtly gave Xu Yiyi hints.
After dinner, Tomb Cheng bathed Xu Yiyi.
As usual, she went to get Xu Yiyi’s clothes and saw Shen Zhiqing sitting on the bed’s edge, legs crossed, injecting a suppressant into her arm.
“Your heat’s here?” Tomb Cheng asked, surprised.
No wonder Shen Zhiqing seemed distracted tonight.
Tomb Cheng thought she’d been sunstruck from the afternoon.
During the sketching, the crowd’s stray pheromones made Shen Zhiqing uncomfortable.
To be safe, she took out the suppressant.
Shen Zhiqing’s face flushed, lips pale, eyes watery at the corners.
She aimed the needle at her skin, pushed the cool liquid in, and said, “Not yet.”
Tomb Cheng saw her wince in pain and felt uneasy.
She stepped over, touched Shen Zhiqing’s forehead to check for fever, and found none.
“Soon, then?” she asked.
Shen Zhiqing nodded, not wanting her to worry, and said, “Just a precaution, don’t stress.”
“If it gets bad, you can bite me,” Tomb Cheng offered.
Alpha pheromones could soothe an Omega’s heat.
Though Tomb Cheng wasn’t thrilled, she said nothing more, grabbed Xu Yiyi’s clothes, and returned to the bathroom.
The first night passed peacefully.
At dawn, Tomb Cheng rose from the long lounge chair.
Xu Yiyi still clutched her pinky.
She carefully avoided waking her, got up, folded the bedding, and stored it in the cabinet.
Shen Zhiqing, a light sleeper, got out of bed quietly.
As she entered the bathroom, Tomb Cheng came out.
“Morning,” Tomb Cheng said, touching her forehead again.
Alpha’s cool palm on her skin somehow calmed Shen Zhiqing.
She looked up, saw Tomb Cheng fully dressed, blushed, and softly replied, “Morning.”
Tomb Cheng wore a skirt today, its hem fluttering.
Her tall frame spotted Xu Yiyi in the classroom, engrossed in her Rubik’s cube, surrounded by kids her age.
It was bonding time for the children, and parents could rest until noon when they’d fetch them for lunch.
Most parents returned to their rooms.
Tomb Cheng, uneasy, lingered.
She urged Shen Zhiqing to go back, saying, “Nothing’s happening here.”
Shen Zhiqing’s curly hair fell over her shoulders.
She seemed to agree but didn’t leave immediately, took Tomb Cheng’s hand, and said, “Then come with me to the bathroom.”
They entered the Beta restroom.
Shen Zhiqing pushed Tomb Cheng into a stall, locked the door, and sat on her lap.
She quickly brushed her hair aside, cooing to Tomb Cheng, “Mu Mu, help me.”
Tomb Cheng hadn’t expected it so soon.
They’d discussed it last night, and now signs appeared.
The gland on Omega’s neck no longer matched her skin’s pale tone; it glowed peach-pink, blooming vividly.
The skin around it felt warmer than elsewhere.
Despite the suppressant yesterday, Shen Zhiqing couldn’t inject again within twenty-four hours.
Their high compatibility, sharing a space, weakened the suppressant’s effect.
Shen Zhiqing hadn’t expected to feel such intense heat after so long.
“No marking, okay?” Tomb Cheng asked, holding her waist, suppressing her own restlessness.
Shen Zhiqing didn’t plan for anything to happen here.
She nodded, softened her body, and offered her gland to Tomb Cheng’s reach.
The delicate gland quietly released a sweet scent.
Faint cherry fragrance slipped into Tomb Cheng’s nose, unripe cherries exuding a ripe, sweet allure, slowly stirring Alpha’s senses.
Tomb Cheng steadied her waist with one hand, lifted their floor-length skirts with the other to keep them clean, and held them tightly.
She leaned in, deeply inhaling the Omega’s gland, catching the faint pheromone mixed with her natural scent.
Alpha’s breath brushed her shoulder.
Shen Zhiqing felt sudden shyness.
She’d never let Tomb Cheng help like this.
In the past, she never allowed gland contact; they got through her heats in the simplest, roughest ways.
Shen Zhiqing clung to her shoulders, entrusting her gland to her.
Tomb Cheng glimpsed her flushed earlobes, her own face quietly reddening.
Her palms grew sweaty.
Nervously, she tentatively licked the gland lightly.
“Hm~” the woman couldn’t hold back a moan; a small groan escaped her throat.
