ABO My Alpha is a Housewife - Chapter 1
Mo Chi, hurry back home. Your family will come looking for you again.
Hahahaha! Omegas should act like Omegas. What kind of behavior is this, staying out all night?
If you ask me, an Omega like him will never find anyone to take him.
Everyone knew Mo Chi’s Alpha father was a top-tier Alpha. From childhood, Mo Chi had aspired to become as formidable as his father.
By thirteen, he already stood at 180 centimeters, towering over his peers. No one doubted he would become an exceptional Alpha after his secondary differentiation.
Then, at fourteen, his first differentiation arrived.
He turned out to be an Omega.
This revelation reassured those who had once feared Mo Chi would become a top-tier Alpha. They began tormenting him relentlessly, as if seeking to repay him double for every slight they had suffered at his hands.
Mo Chi had heard these taunts countless times—at least a thousand—since he was fourteen.
Just a bunch of stupid Alphas who, even after differentiating, couldn’t measure up to him.
Not only stupid, but short too.
He was an Omega, but at eighteen years old, he stood at a towering 190 centimeters tall, forcing even the Alphas to look up to him.
A mocking smirk curled his lips. So what if I’m an Omega, controlled by heat cycles, pinned beneath Alphas, and destined to bear their children? You lot aren’t even worthy of my toenails.
As his heat cycles grew increasingly resistant to Inhibitors after adulthood, his disdain for these Alphas deepened.
The thought of being pinned down by Alphas as pathetic as them, simply because of his heat, made him scoff. Heh heh heh…
The Alphas bristled. Mo Chi, you’ve been an Omega for years. Why can’t you just accept your fate? What’s so wrong with us that you look down on us like this? Don’t come crawling to us when your heat hits.
In truth, Mo Chi was a top-tier Omega, beyond their reach. But they couldn’t swallow their pride, unwilling to be mocked by an Omega.
Heat again!
Beg? I’d beg your grandmother’s leg first!
Mo Chi could no longer contain his agitation. He charged forward with a punch, instantly snapping the taut strings in everyone’s minds. Five Alphas and one Omega erupted into a chaotic brawl.
Despite being outnumbered five to one, Mo Chi showed no fear. Leveraging his height advantage and years of accumulated combat skills, he relentlessly beat the five Alphas until they couldn’t even open their eyes to mock him.
As the five retreated, Mo Chi finally collapsed to the ground. Hiss! He arched his back. Damn it! Who hit my waist?!
Tap, tap, tap.
Footsteps approached. Mo Chi glanced up—Shen Jin’an? Fvck! Mo Chi bolted upright.
Meeting Shen Jin’an’s scrutinizing gaze with a cold glare, he snapped impatiently, What are you staring at? Never seen your grandpa fight before?
Shen Jin’an reached out and poked the purplish bruise on Mo Chi’s cheek, near his jawline.
Fvck! Shen Jin’an, do you have a death wish?! If not for the searing pain in his waist, Mo Chi would have jumped up and beaten Shen Jin’an to a pulp right then and there.
Shen Jin’an chuckled. What? After all these years, you still haven’t given up? You’re over eighteen now. You’ll always be just an Omega. Accept your fate!
Mo Chi turned his head away, refusing to look at him.
Having had his fill of mockery, Shen Jin’an sauntered away with leisurely steps.
Hmph! I can’t fight today. I’ll get him tomorrow!
Shen Jin’an.
The person Mo Chi hated most in his entire life.
Why?
Because when they were children, both he and Shen Jin’an had dreamed of becoming top-tier Alphas, just like their fathers.
Shen Jin’an differentiated into a top-tier Alpha at thirteen and flaunted his status in front of Mo Chi for a year. Then Mo Chi differentiated into a top-tier Omega.
From the moment he became an Omega, An Xin, the girl he had liked since childhood, stopped paying attention to him.
Worse still, Shen Jin’an often came to him to brag about every little detail of his interactions with An Xin.
On the eighteenth of last month, An Xin turned eighteen and told Mo Chi she was going to confess to Shen Jin’an.
They must be together now.
What infuriated Mo Chi most was that Shen Jin’an had approached him two weeks ago, asking if his heat cycle was approaching and offering to help if needed.
Ha!
Ask Shen Jin’an for help?
He’d have to be insane to do that!
He’d rather ask a random Alpha for help than go to Shen Jin’an!
Besides, Shen Jin’an’s pheromone scent was champagne—it made Mo Chi dizzy just smelling it. So what if he was a top-tier Alpha? His pheromone scent was still nothing special.
Mo Chi pursed his lips and struggled to his feet, clutching his aching back.
You’re back?
Father, Mo Chi said softly, collapsing onto the sofa and gazing at his top-tier Alpha father with a hint of sadness.
Mo Yanfei looked back at him without speaking.
Mo Chi, feeling slightly guilty, asked, Father, what’s wrong?
Mo Chi, I know you’ve never accepted your Omega differentiation, but you need to understand that you’re eighteen now. Your Omega status is irreversible, and your heat cycle has already started half a month ago. You can’t keep acting like an Alpha, coming home so late every night. What if something happens to you? What would I do?
Mo Chi’s father had left long ago, leaving Mo Yanfei to raise him alone, acting as both mother and father.
Mo Yanfei was always busy, and as Mo Chi grew older, he had less time and energy to devote to his son. But Mo Chi’s recent behavior had him deeply worried.
Look at the injuries on your body! What were you thinking? Even if they’re not as tall as you, they’re still Alphas. What if something went wrong? You’re an Omega. What if you suddenly go into heat and lose control?
It wasn’t unheard of for naive Omegas to venture out during their peak heat cycles, only to end up having their first time with multiple Alphas.
What a dangerous situation that would be.
Mo Chi knew he had to face certain realities. He sighed and relented, Father, don’t worry. I won’t go out for the next few weeks.
His glands began to heat up again. He knew his heat cycle was about to start. He had no choice but to compromise his pride would never allow those weak Alphas outside to mark him.
Without another word, Mo Chi covered his glands and went upstairs.
Mo Yanfei watched him with concern.
Do you have enough Inhibitor?
Don’t worry, Father. I have plenty.
Mo Chi took a leave of absence from school.
Because of his heat cycle.
Federal regulations granted Omegas up to two months of leave during their heat cycles.
Perfect. During his heat, Mo Chi had no desire to see those Alphas at school. When the heat-induced urge to be pinned down by the Alphas around him arose, he wanted nothing more than to kill himself.
But Mo Chi hadn’t expected Shen Jin’an to come.
His father was out today. When the doorbell rang, Mo Chi went downstairs to answer it, his voice dripping with impatience. What do you want? Here to laugh at me?
I should have stayed upstairs, he thought, already reaching to slam the door.
But Shen Jin’an shoved his hand against it, forcing his way inside. Now that I’m here, how can you not welcome me in?
Thick-skinned! Mo Chi turned and stomped back upstairs.
They had been close as children, and Shen Jin’an knew his way around the house. Mo Chi let him follow.
Though he desperately wanted to kick Shen Jin’an out, his body felt weak and unwell. Next time, he thought.
Don’t come upstairs. I don’t want anything dangerous to happen.
I’m the one in danger here! If you ever managed to get your hands on such a superior Alpha like me, you’d be secretly thrilled.
Shameless! Your pheromones make me sick!
Shen Jin’an sighed, watching him. Sometimes he truly wished he had differentiated into an Omega and Mo Chi into an Alpha. If that were the case, he would gladly let Mo Chi mark him.
But fate had other plans. Mo Chi had been deeply shaken by their reversed roles, unable to accept it. Now, whenever he saw Shen Jin’an, he only bristled and flared up.
Mo Chi rummaged through the refrigerator, finding nothing but nutrient solutions. He knew it.
Thankfully, he knew Mo Chi would never cook for himself at home. He took out all the groceries he’d brought, preparing some immediately and storing the rest in the fridge.
Hearing the commotion downstairs, Mo Chi’s eyes flickered with complex emotions. He stuffed his ears with the blanket, trying to block out the noise.
No one could understand the turmoil in his heart.
Shen Jin’an.
Why was he being so kind?
Yet, despite his deep contempt for Shen Jin’an, Mo Chi couldn’t help but indulge in the attention. Each time, he masked his wavering resolve with curses.
Yes, wavering.
The man he despised most had shaken him.
And that only made him hate him more.
An Alpha who was slowly making him accept his Omega identity—the very thing he loathed most!
Knock, knock, knock!
A knock sounded at the door, followed by Shen Jin’an’s voice from outside Dinner’s ready.
Fine, Mo Chi replied, opening the door and stepping out, his warning sharp Stay away from me.
It’s okay, Shen Jin’an said. I told you, I can mark you.
I don’t want to be marked by you! Mo Chi snapped, irritated. Does this man even understand plain English?
He’d told him countless times, but it was like the man hadn’t heard a word.
And besides, you’re already dating An Xin. Stop thinking about marking anyone else! You’re being two-faced, playing both sides—a total jerk!
I told you, I’m not dating An Xin, Shen Jin’an insisted, bewildered. Why wouldn’t Mo Chi listen to his explanation?
You two are always all over each other. And you’re telling me you’re not dating? Mo Chi didn’t want to argue further. He quickened his pace, but his foot slipped, and he nearly tumbled down the stairs.
With lightning reflexes, Shen Jin’an wrapped an arm around Mo Chi’s waist and pulled him toward himself. Mo Chi crashed into Shen Jin’an’s chest.
Instantly, the scent of Shen Jin’an’s champagne pheromones enveloped him, making him even dizzier. He mustered all his strength to push Shen Jin’an away.
But his body felt weak and limp he had no strength left.
Noticing his struggle, Shen Jin’an’s eyes darkened slightly. I know you’re in heat and I shouldn’t get too close, he warned. Just stand still and I’ll let go. Don’t fall again.
