After a One-Night Stand with a Seductive Bad Woman - Chapter 10
For over a decade, Sheng Shubai had brushed her sleeves through flowerbeds, effortlessly charming women with sweet words while never crossing the line into genuine intimacy.
It wasn’t until she met Lu Jia that she finally tasted true pleasure, and at such a perfect age.
A mutually beneficial arrangement, Sheng Shubai thought. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Lu Jia was clean-cut and pretty, exactly the type of innocent “little white rabbit” Sheng Shubai liked. But she wasn’t just a passive recipient; she learned quickly and eagerly.
The only downside was her major: printmaking. Everything else about Lu Jia suited Sheng Shubai’s tastes perfectly.
Or, to put it another way, being able to privately dominate Rong Yi’s student filled her with a sense of invigorating satisfaction.
If she weren’t afraid of putting the girl in an awkward position, Sheng Shubai would have loved to parade Lu Jia in front of Rong Yi just to show off. But she quickly dismissed the idea, fearing the prim, old-fashioned woman would tear her apart.
Sheng Shubai casually observed the girl’s expression. “Little Sister Lu, why don’t you think about it?”
Lu Jia hesitated for a few seconds, clearly tempted by the offer but feeling uneasy. “This feels like I’m taking advantage of you. Maybe you could add some other conditions?”
Sheng Shubai had never encountered someone so eager to let her take advantage.
“Didn’t I say we’d each get what we need?” she said with a smile, her tone carrying a deeper meaning. “After this, I’ll need you to work even harder.”
Sheng Shubai preferred being the one in control.
After several encounters, when it was Lu Jia’s turn, she found herself enjoying it more when the girl took the initiative. It was, after all, quite physically demanding.
Seeing Lu Jia’s rare display of discomfort, Sheng Shubai felt a surge of satisfaction.
Just as she was about to turn and leave, she suddenly remembered something and turned back. “Oh, right, if you’re asking about conditions, there is one.”
Lu Jia straightened up, listening attentively. “Professor Sheng, please tell me.”
“Your bedsheets.”
Sheng Shubai glanced up and down at Lu Jia’s cartoon sheep pajamas, then added, “…and your pajamas too. Could you change them all?”
Lu Jia looked down at herself. “Alright.”
Actually, when they had first started last night, her bedsheets had been gray and white striped. But after soaking through two sets, she had no choice but to pull out the cartoon sheep set from her closet.
She couldn’t just leave the bedsheets unchanged and have them both squeeze onto the sofa all night.
Following Lu Jia’s gaze, Sheng Shubai indeed saw two crumpled piles of fabric in the laundry basket beside the washing machine on the balcony.
“Sorry,” she murmured, clearing her throat and looking away.
She vaguely remembered how, after the first round last night, she had leaned back on the low sofa in the bedroom, watching Lu Jia bustle around, too exhausted to move.
Though the bed was only a few steps away, she lazily stretched out her arms, signaling Lu Jia to carry her over.
As Lu Jia lifted her, she lost her balance, or perhaps her arms, worn out from exhaustion, gave way. They both tumbled onto the bed.
Soft curves pressed against each other, and Sheng Shubai’s lips landed just below Lu Jia’s collarbone.
The faint woody scent carried a hint of alluring sweetness.
Sheng Shubai couldn’t resist and licked the spot again. In her youthful exuberance, her desires flared anew, and so…
In hindsight, it was her fault.
Feeling guilty, Sheng Shubai asked, “Do you have anything else to change into?”
“It’s fine. The sun’s been good these past few days, so they’ll dry quickly,” Lu Jia replied.
She paused. “Just… if we need to… do that again tonight, we might have to go to your place.”
“…Doesn’t it hurt?”
Sheng Shubai glanced at her, her loose cotton top covering most of her short pajama bottoms, leaving her slender, shapely legs fully exposed, save for the essential areas.
A cooling medicinal cream had been applied to the base of her thighs, providing slight relief.
Yet even the dozen or so steps she’d taken to reach him had caused her to unconsciously wince several times from accidental friction.
Lu Jia said earnestly, “It does hurt a little, but I thought you still wanted to.”
The unspoken implication was clear: if Sheng Shubai truly desired it, she would endure the discomfort.
“…Lu Jia, what kind of person do you think I am?”
Even a woman in her early thirties needed proper rest, didn’t she?
Since the topic of frequency had been raised, Sheng Shubai considered it and proposed to Lu Jia that they aim for twice a week.
Their menstrual cycles conveniently aligned, meaning there would only be about six opportunities per month—a reasonable compromise.
Any additional encounters would be considered mutually consensual.
“Sometimes I’ll have to travel for work, or you might be too busy or exhausted. In those cases, we can skip or postpone.”
Sheng Shubai knew all too well that Lu Jia had a Woody personality. Afraid that Lu Jia might follow her all the way to her business trip location just to meet the twice-weekly quota, she decided to explain in advance.
But as Sheng Shubai spoke, Lu Jia nodded attentively, her fingers tapping away on her phone screen.
Sheng Shubai’s gaze lingered for a moment on the slender, pale fingers before snapping back to attention. “What are you doing?”
As soon as the words left her lips, the printer beside them suddenly whirred to life.
Sheng Shubai turned to see two A4 sheets of paper emerge, the black ink still warm to the touch.
It was a contract Lu Jia had just drafted.
Oblivious to Sheng Shubai’s speechless reaction, Lu Jia shook her phone screen and handed it to her. If there were any revisions needed, she could print a new copy.
Sheng Shubai rubbed her forehead. “Fine, let me take a look.”
Why would we need a formal contract with numbered clauses, Party A, and Party B for something like this?
Although the contract didn’t differentiate between Party A and Party B, Sheng Shubai’s eyebrow twitched almost imperceptibly when she saw herself listed as Party A, a subtle sign of satisfaction.
Lu Jia would provide the resources, while she would provide the inspiration.
A fair exchange. Perfect.
After skimming the contract and finding no issues, Sheng Shubai took the pen Lu Jia offered and signed her name with a flourish. As she handed one copy to Lu Jia, she teased, “Do you need a photocopy of my ID too?”
Lu Jia hesitated, then the woman lightly tapped her head with the rolled-up contract.
“I’m heading back now. Remember to come over the day after tomorrow.”
Sheng Shubai didn’t forget to add, “If you can’t buy new pajamas in time, just take them off as soon as you come in.”
Lu Jia nodded, clutching the contract. “Could you turn up the air conditioning a bit? I’m worried about catching a cold.”
August remained sweltering.
Rong Yi wasn’t a strict teacher. Knowing how brutal the summer heat was, she assigned most of Lu Jia’s reading materials through messaging apps, and discussions were primarily conducted online. She rarely asked Lu Jia to come in person.
Sheng Shubai, on the other hand, took an even more laissez-faire approach with her students.
Lu Jia knew that Sheng Shubai usually went out late and returned early. Occasionally, she would receive messages from the woman, asking her to pick her up from bars in the middle of the night.
After bringing her back, it was only natural that they would enter the same door.
“Morning,” Sheng Shubai said, emerging from the bedroom, covering her mouth as she yawned. “You young people have such boundless energy.”
Perhaps it was simply her age catching up with her. Lu Jia had brought her home at 1 a.m., and by the time she finally fell asleep, it was nearly 3 a.m.
She had a lunch appointment with a friend and had set an alarm to wake up early and do her makeup.
When she opened her eyes, it was barely 9:30 a.m., yet the young woman was already bustling around in her kitchen.
This had happened several times before. Sheng Shubai would sleep until noon or even mid-afternoon, only to wake up and find Lu Jia had already left, a neatly portioned lunch set out on the table, and the takeout containers neatly stacked to the side.
Lu Jia had just taken a bottle of yogurt from the refrigerator. The hem of her snow-white pajamas was embroidered with a simple leaf pattern, a pleasing sight.
She nodded. “Good morning, Miss Sheng.”
Ever since she had slipped up and called Sheng Shubai “Professor Sheng” several times in bed, Lu Jia had been ordered to address her as “Miss Sheng” in all non-academic settings.
Last night, when Sheng Shubai casually asked if there was any breakfast, Lu Jia, who couldn’t cook, knew how to please her.
Fortunately, Sheng Shubai’s kitchen had a toaster. Two slices of buttered toast and a glass of yogurt made for a quick and easy breakfast.
Watching Sheng Shubai settle at the table, Lu Jia, who had already eaten, didn’t linger. “I’ll go water the plants.”
With Miss Sheng’s permission, Lu Jia had cultivated several potted plants on the balcony, ranging from Brazilian ironwood to small-leaved sandalwood, and a lush jade tree.
She added, “I watered your pot this morning, so you don’t need to worry about it.”
Sheng Shubai mumbled through a mouthful of toast, “Okay, thanks.”
Nothing she had ever grown had survived more than six months, except for the turtle she and her sister had bought as children. Once, after waking up at Lu Jia’s place, she had watched the younger woman watering the plants and asked what they were.
Lu Jia waited patiently until the water had thoroughly soaked the soil before stopping. She looked up and asked Sheng Shubai if she wanted to grow a pot of her own.
The next day, Sheng Shubai received a vibrant golden-edged lily bamboo plant.
After just ten days in Sheng Shubai’s care, it had already wilted.
Lu Jia noticed it after waking up one morning. The following day, she wrote Sheng Shubai a more detailed care guide. Whenever she visited, she would proactively take over watering and shading duties.
Sheng Shubai gazed at the lily bamboo near the South Balcony, its pale gold-edged leaves catching the sunlight in a beautiful shimmer. It was now many times more vibrant than it had been just half a month ago.
She recalled having to give it one or two hours of morning sunlight each day. The sheer curtains had already been lowered, indicating its sunbathing session was complete.
“Lu Jia, did you get up around seven?”
Sheng Shubai calculated the time. Had Lu Jia only slept for about four hours?
Even though the girl hadn’t spent the entire night upstairs, lying down was still tiring.
Sheng Shubai stopped her. “Isn’t there the academy’s freshman orientation this afternoon? It’ll probably take two or three hours. You should go back and catch up on some sleep.”
She paused, the words about offering Lu Jia a ride hovering on her tongue before she swallowed them back.
She was afraid of running into Rong Yi.
For appearances’ sake, it was best to keep their distance.
