After a One-Night Stand with a Seductive Bad Woman - Chapter 18
The swimsuit had several pairs of ties on each side.
The woman’s slender, nimble fingers deftly crossed the ties, twisting them into a perfect, beautiful bow.
Lu Jia stood beside a mirror, her eyes lowered, watching Sheng Shubai’s every move.
Her expression was earnest, her movements meticulous, occasionally adjusting angles and details. From any angle, it looked like she was carefully helping Lu Jia put on proper clothes.
But…
If only the woman’s breath could stay a little further from her earlobe.
Lu Jia pressed her lips tightly together, struggling to keep her breathing steady against the waves of soft, fragrant breath.
This sensation was all too familiar.
Sheng Shubai had embraced her from behind countless times, usually kneeling on the bed, the carpet, or leaning against the edge of a counter.
This was the first time they were standing like this, yet it wasn’t the same as those intimate moments. Instead, it felt utterly normal—just helping her tie her clothes.
Similar memories surged forth, mingling with the sensation of Sheng Shubai’s hand brushing against her back as she lifted the ties once more.
Lu Jia nearly buckled at the waist.
Clenching her jaw, she forced herself to stand straight, fighting the muscle memory that urged her to lean into the woman’s embrace.
Only when the last tie was secured and she saw Sheng Shubai withdraw her hands in the mirror did Lu Jia finally exhale in relief. But before she could fully relax, a warm hand circled her waist, pulling her firmly against Sheng Shubai.
“You look beautiful,” Sheng Shubai murmured, leaning in to rest her chin on Lu Jia’s shoulder, their eyes meeting in the mirror.
The words were spoken deliberately close to Lu Jia’s ear, her soft smile radiating genuine warmth and sincerity.
Lu Jia’s fingers curled tightly.
The exposed skin on her back felt utterly foreign, as if every inch were steeped in the room’s cool air. Now, pressed against Sheng Shubai’s soft chest, the sensation was even more pronounced, the pressure separated only by a thin layer of fabric.
“…Thank you,” Lu Jia replied, her voice slightly strained. She subtly disentangled herself from Sheng Shubai’s arms, turned away from the mirror, and glanced back at her reflection.
The ties were perfectly positioned, crisscrossing at her lower back in a meticulously designed, symmetrical pattern.
Sheng Shubai was also watching Lu Jia.
Or, more accurately, she was gazing at the girl’s slender back, so beautiful she couldn’t tear her eyes away.
The warm, bright light in the fitting room, combined with the soft pink and white hues, made Lu Jia appear utterly docile and tender.
Lu Jia turned her head, a hint of self-consciousness in her expression, her reflection visible in the mirror, which Sheng Shubai caught perfectly.
Sheng Shubai had always been captivated by Lu Jia’s back.
During their “collaborations,” she had lost count of how many times she had held Lu Jia’s waist, embracing her from behind.
Kiss marks trailed from the nape of her neck to her side, tracing the girl’s slightly arched and yielding waist, her shoulder blades trembling with each breath, her long, dark hair cascading down her back. Sheng Shubai’s movements only grew more urgent.
Earlier, she had been halfway through tying the bow, the butterfly knot gradually taking shape.
Sheng Shubai lowered her head to adjust the position, her gaze naturally falling on the snow-white skin of Lu Jia’s back. For a fleeting moment, she found herself distracted, a forbidden thought suddenly surfacing.
She… inexplicably didn’t want anyone else to see Lu Jia’s back.
She didn’t want her to leave the fitting room wearing this outfit.
An utterly absurd notion.
The thought flickered through her mind like a fleeting shadow, instantly dismissed with a casual wave of her hand. She didn’t dwell on it.
Now, seeing Lu Jia already changed, she noticed her studying her reflection from various angles, a hesitant expression on her face.
Sheng Shubai crossed her arms and said, “Don’t worry, you look beautiful in this dress.”
Lu Jia paused. “I just feel a little uncomfortable with the completely backless design. Maybe I should change into something else—”
She reached for the ties, but then remembered Sheng Shubai had taken special care to fasten them for her earlier.
Her fingers pressed against the bow, hesitating to pull it undone.
For some reason, she felt reluctant to undo it so easily.
Even though… the way it was tied felt strangely familiar, like the ribbon bow on a gift box.
It was a little odd.
“Hmm?”
Sheng Shubai raised an eyebrow, watching Lu Jia’s indecision. “Can’t untie it?”
She reached out to help, but Lu Jia shifted slightly, evading her touch.
Lu Jia shook her head and asked instead, “Miss Sheng, do you… like me dressed like this?”
She must, Lu Jia thought. She just complimented me several times and kept looking at me like that.
The woman nodded frankly. “Yes, it suits you perfectly.”
“Then I’ll buy it after all,” Lu Jia said hesitantly, lowering her voice. “Not for swimming, but… for those times, to wear for you.”
Sheng Shubai studied her intently for a few seconds before raising an eyebrow. “Alright.”
What a perfect understanding, she thought.
Now, the other swimsuits she’d added to her cart could wait. She’d switch them out when she got bored.
Wouldn’t want to overwhelm the girl by buying too much at once.
Sheng Shubai took the swimsuit Lu Jia was wearing and selected a few more from the pile she’d picked out earlier, handing them to her in the fitting room.
All the styles revealed only the lower abdomen, with most of the back covered.
Lu Jia changed quickly each time. As she emerged from the fitting room, the shop assistant showered her with flattering sales pitches.
Recognizing the sales tactics, Lu Jia smiled politely but turned to Sheng Shubai. “Miss Sheng, what do you think?”
The woman leaned casually against a nearby sofa, shifting her gaze from her phone screen to study Lu Jia for a moment. “You look good in anything.”
She stood up and gestured for the shop assistant to take her to the checkout. “I’ll take all the ones she just tried on, plus that pink one from the beginning.”
Having received Sheng Shubai’s approval, Lu Jia turned to go change back, but stopped at her words.
Lu Jia quickly stopped Sheng Shubai. “Miss Sheng, I can’t possibly wear all these.”
She only had one body. How could she wear seven swimsuits?
She wasn’t one of the Calabash Brothers.
Hearing her address, the shop assistant subtly glanced between the two women.
Sheng Shubai blinked, her tone meaningful. “There will be plenty of opportunities to wear them. Take your time.”
Lu Jia choked slightly.
They were in a boutique, under the watchful eyes of others, so she couldn’t refute Sheng Shubai’s seemingly casual yet suggestive remark.
We’ve already bought so many clothes in various styles. Why won’t she even leave the swimsuits alone? Lu Jia grumbled inwardly.
She had only suggested the backless swimsuit because she saw how much Sheng Shubai liked it, sparking a vague new inspiration within her.
Now, she vaguely regretted making the suggestion.
After changing back into her regular clothes, Lu Jia emerged carrying the swimsuits.
Several shopping bags were already piled at the checkout counter. Sheng Shubai had paid and was waiting by the counter.
As they were about to leave, Lu Jia remembered something. “Miss Sheng, aren’t you going to buy anything for yourself?”
Sheng Shubai glanced at her, a teasing smile playing on her lips. “I don’t need anything. My closet at home is already overflowing. Would you like to come see?”
Under the watchful eyes of others, Lu Jia fell silent, offering no response.
Once they were outside the shop, the woman hooked her left arm through Lu Jia’s wrist with her right hand, her voice dripping with suggestive intimacy.
“Don’t want to see? Hmm?”
