After a One-Night Stand with a Seductive Bad Woman - Chapter 9
Lu Jia was baffled by the sudden insult, but she knew better than to argue with a drunk person.
She repeatedly asked for the passcode to Sheng Shubai’s apartment, hoping to help her back inside. But the woman only leaned closer, mumbling incoherently in Lu Jia’s arms.
Hearing fragments like “damn it” and “slut,” Lu Jia reassured herself that Sheng Shubai wasn’t talking about her and relaxed slightly.
She tightened her grip around Sheng Shubai, only to be bitten again.
“Hey… Miss Sheng, you—”
The pain shot through Lu Jia’s shoulder, making her suspect the bite had broken the skin and drawn bl00d.
After the bite, combined with Lu Jia’s pleading tone, Sheng Shubai seemed to regain a sliver of clarity and stopped struggling.
Lu Jia breathed a sigh of relief, but then felt a warm, wet sensation on the same spot on her shoulder.
Sheng Shubai was kissing her.
What had started as a comforting gesture quickly escalated. The neckline of Lu Jia’s pajamas was pulled lower and lower, exposing her collarbone, then lower still, until the kisses landed on the soft curve of her chest.
Pinned against the doorframe, Lu Jia’s arms remained firmly wrapped around Sheng Shubai’s waist.
The dress Sheng Shubai wore tonight left her back partially exposed. Lu Jia had initially been careful to avoid touching her skin, but now she couldn’t afford such restraint.
Her delicate skin pressed warmly against Lu Jia’s palm.
The hallway was stiflingly warm on this summer night, and beads of sweat already glistened on Lu Jia’s forehead. Yet Sheng Shubai’s body radiated a perfect temperature, and Lu Jia couldn’t resist stroking her.
Lu Jia was already nearing her period, and after months apart, she hadn’t been intimate with anyone else. At most, she’d indulged in fleeting, solitary moments, but none had been as satisfying as her nights with Sheng Shubai.
Having only been intimate with each other, they had quickly learned each other’s sensitive spots during those few nights together. The woman in her arms moved with practiced ease, a single touch igniting desire.
Sheng Shubai’s loose, short pajama pants offered little resistance. Lu Jia gripped the hand Sheng Shubai was about to press against her waist, forcing herself to speak steadily, “Miss Sheng… let’s go inside.”
At least not here.
She wouldn’t be able to stand.
They didn’t even make it to the bedroom, collapsing into a hurried encounter on the sofa.
Lu Jia’s waist felt so weak she could barely sit up.
She steadied her breathing and saw that the woman above her had regained clarity in her eyes. With a weak gesture, she tapped Sheng Shubai’s shoulder. “Miss Sheng… should we continue?”
What a waste of the freshly washed sofa cover.
Before the words had fully left her lips, Sheng Shubai scooped her up. “Where’s the bedroom?”
The sofa was too small, too inconvenient.
Her mind cleared, but Sheng Shubai still walked with a slightly unsteady gait.
Lu Jia pointed to the bedroom door, terrified by the woman’s wavering steps. She struggled to walk on her own, but as soon as she moved, Sheng Shubai bit her shoulder again, in the same spot as before.
Why is this woman suddenly so fond of biting tonight?
The pain kept Lu Jia frozen in place.
When Sheng Shubai set her down on the edge of the bed, Lu Jia didn’t even have time to lie down before Sheng Shubai had already collapsed onto her pillow.
“I’m exhausted,” Sheng Shubai murmured, her grip surprisingly strong as she pulled Lu Jia closer. Her eyes narrowed with amusement, and her voice trailed off with a seductive lilt: “Little Sister Lu, come here.”
This was payback for Lu Jia’s earlier doubt about her steadiness.
Lu Jia understood perfectly, but she also knew that reciprocity was only fair.
As she reached out with her right hand, Sheng Shubai grabbed her wrist, stopping her.
Lu Jia paused, taken aback. After a few seconds, she bit her lip and raised her other hand to tie her hair back, but Sheng Shubai’s kiss landed on the inner curve of her thigh.
Sheng Shubai glanced up.
She hooked a finger under Lu Jia’s chin, tilting her face upward. Her fingertip brushed lightly across the girl’s full lips as she spoke in a languid tone, her knee nudging suggestively against Lu Jia’s: “Not with this… but with…”
“Grinding.”
It had been a long time since Sheng Shubai had been this hungover.
Nearly noon, the sunlight streaming through the curtains was blindingly bright.
She rubbed her throbbing temples, squinted at the window, then groggily pulled the blanket over her head, turning over to try and sleep a little longer.
Wait.
She didn’t usually sleep naked.
The direct contact of the blanket against her skin felt too strange. Sheng Shubai reached down and felt the familiar, unclad curves—her own.
Her eyes snapped open. She threw back the blanket and sat up straight.
Her vision swam for a moment before clearing.
Why was she naked…? Wait, what was this hideous blanket?
Pink gingham with blue stripes, covered in childish sheep patterns. This was even more headache-inducing than the hangover. The style was so familiar that when a knock came at the door, the girl who entered didn’t surprise her at all.
“At least you’re wearing pajamas,” Sheng Shubai said, accepting the warm water Lu Jia offered and taking a sip to soothe her throat. “Why don’t I have any clothes on?”
The woman’s curves were striking as she casually leaned against the headboard, the blanket thrown back, revealing the hickeys scattered across her skin.
“You don’t like my pajamas, so I didn’t change you.”
Lu Jia averted her gaze, feeling too embarrassed to look for too long.
It was still broad daylight.
Sheng Shubai thought for a moment. “That’s true.”
If she woke up wearing that full-body cartoon sheep pajama set… it would be better to be naked. After all, they’d already seen each other naked before.
She gave Lu Jia the passcode to the opposite apartment and asked her to fetch one of her own silk nightgowns.
Sheng Shubai cradled the honey water, her eyes lowered in thought.
She didn’t black out when drunk; she remembered everything from last night clearly.
She had bitten Lu Jia and then flirted with her.
Although the girl hadn’t seemed to mind, even responding eagerly, Sheng Shubai had initiated it. She really should apologize.
Lu Jia returned quickly, handing the smooth silk nightgown to Sheng Shubai. But as Sheng Shubai took the nightgown, she suddenly grabbed Lu Jia’s wrist.
Caught off balance, Lu Jia instinctively leaned forward and was pulled down to kneel at the edge of the bed.
“Professor Sheng?” Lu Jia swallowed nervously.
It’s still morning… are we going to do this again already?
As Sheng Shubai pulled open the collar of her nightgown, Lu Jia pursed her lips and instinctively closed her eyes. But then she noticed the woman’s gaze fixed on the bite mark on her shoulder.
The bite from the previous night had been deep, leaving a thin scab.
Sheng Shubai gently stroked the mark with her fingertip. When Lu Jia let out a soft hiss, Sheng Shubai’s voice carried genuine apology. “I’m sorry. I had too much to drink last night. Why don’t you bite me back?”
She tilted her head and offered her right shoulder forward.
The nightgown lay discarded beside them, and the woman remained completely naked.
The soft curves of her body and shoulder were presented before Lu Jia, impossibly close. Lu Jia paused, then averted her gaze. “Actually, it’s fine.”
Sheng Shubai was about to say, “Don’t be shy, just bite me back,” when Lu Jia said earnestly, “I should be thanking you for that bite. It gave me inspiration.”
Sheng Shubai: “……?”
“I woke up suddenly in the middle of the night with a new idea, but I couldn’t quite capture it on paper.” Lu Jia’s expression turned serious. “Your… bite really helped me. I should be the one thanking you.”
Still only twenty-two, Lu Jia paused mid-sentence.
She couldn’t bring herself to say it.
It was the first time she’d realized she… actually quite enjoyed being bitten. The realization had sparked a sudden burst of inspiration.
So much so that after Sheng Shubai fell asleep last night, Lu Jia, fearing she’d lose the inspiration, had thrown on her robe and rushed to the study. She sketched until nearly dawn before returning to the bedroom for a brief nap.
Sheng Shubai thought she must have misheard.
After a moment of processing, her gaze toward the girl grew complex, words hovering on her lips.
Still groggy from sleep, Sheng Shubai hesitated to speak.
She slipped into her nightgown and rose to return to her apartment across the hall to wash up. But after only two steps, a sharp pain shot through her inner thighs.
And it wasn’t just that—there was something else too.
“Hiss—”
Sheng Shubai gasped, turning to glare at the culprit.
Lu Jia paused, then pointed to the bedside table. “I ordered two tubes of ointment on the delivery app this morning. The unopened one is for you, if you need it.”
As for the other tube, she had, of course, just used it herself.
Last night had been far too long. Both of their skin was delicate, and at first, they hadn’t quite known what they were doing, fumbling around for quite a while. Lu Jia’s waist ached from all the movement.
It was only when Sheng Shubai gripped her waist and actively lifted herself to meet Lu Jia that they gradually figured things out.
At the time, it hadn’t seemed like much, but when Lu Jia woke up this morning, she felt a slight discomfort. A quick glance revealed a patch of raw, red skin near her groin.
After checking the ointment’s instructions, Sheng Shubai sat back down on the edge of the bed. As she tore open the packaging, she realized the other woman had already slipped back to the living room, thoughtfully closing the bedroom door behind her.
Lu Jia chuckled, muttering, “Such a thin skin.”
Where was this shyness last night, when she wouldn’t get off me for anything?
Living Room
Lu Jia closed the bedroom door and regained her usual composure, her mind as still as a pond.
The sofa cover had already been removed and tossed into the washing machine. Lu Jia glanced at the bedsheets and duvet cover still piled on the other side of the room, thinking, Poor thing, working overtime so early in the morning.
But it wasn’t exactly early anymore.
After waiting a moment, she turned and returned to her study.
Multiple paintings lay on the wide desk.
The bottom one was the sketch she’d dashed off in the early hours of the morning, when inspiration had struck. The watercolor sketch on top was a portrait of a woman she’d painted on a whim, her creative energy still flowing after finishing the first piece.
Sheng Shubai had striking, bold features. Compared to woodblock prints, watercolors or oil paintings better captured the vibrant, expressive quality of her eyes and brows.
Last night, Lu Jia had personally coaxed the other woman into the bathroom for a quick wash. But Sheng Shubai had refused to move another inch after that, so Lu Jia had ended up removing her makeup completely.
After meticulously cleansing every inch of her skin, the woman’s already exquisite features remained stunning even without makeup.
This irresistible beauty sparked a sudden urge in Lu Jia to paint.
As she pondered whether to refine a few more details, she heard footsteps behind her.
Lu Jia turned to see Sheng Shubai glancing at the portrait in her hand.
“So, you’ve finally seen the light and decided to abandon the darkness? Come to study watercolor with me?” Sheng Shubai teased, her tone light and playful.
Lu Jia clarified, “No, I just think you’re very beautiful.”
Sheng Shubai, in a good mood, didn’t take offense.
“Lu Jia,” she called out, leaning casually against the desk and tilting her chin.
Lu Jia set down her painting. “What is it, Professor Sheng?”
Sheng Shubai pointed to the printmaking sketch from the previous night, clearly another piece exuding sensual allure.
“As far as I know, that… I mean, your mentor, her research direction should be quite similar to your graduation project, right?”
Lu Jia nodded. “Yes.”
The woman’s tone turned coaxing. “I remember you mentioning you weren’t particularly skilled in this area, which is why you approached me in the first place, isn’t that right?”
Lu Jia nodded again. “Yes.”
“So, would you be interested in a long-term collaboration? A mutually beneficial arrangement?” Sheng Shubai enunciated each word clearly. “I’ll provide you with inspiration. What do you say?”
Lu Jia paused.
Is this… what I think it is?
