Chapter 17: The Dance Studio At Home
A floor-length skirt was hardly practical for dancing. Hua Che’s movements were subtle and controlled, yet every step revealed flashes of her legs beneath the flowing fabric.
Beneath the skirt, the metal girdle glinted faintly, its smooth curves outlining her figure, full and round.
Though her gestures were delicate, the cold metal brushing against her tender skin sent faint waves of warmth across the little fox’s face.
Her knees trembled—not just from the exertion, but stirred by a subtle, instinctive hunger for the scent of pheromones.
Hua Che was acutely aware of the eyes on her. Far from innocent, she played the part of the seductress perfectly, igniting a secret flame with her teasing.
She was confident in her skills; no Alpha could remain indifferent to such deliberate allure.
The little fox reveled in the effect she had.
With a natural grace that seemed etched into her very bones, Hua Che didn’t need to try to hold the title of Fox Oiran.
Especially with a top-tier temptress deliberately fanning the flames.
When she dipped low, swaying, her waist curved as if caught in an invisible embrace.
One shoulder strap slipped halfway down, revealing a bare shoulder and a hint of chest to the light.
Her cheeks flushed a deep crimson, breaths quickening as her clothes loosened.
The metal beneath her was damp with her own Omega essence.
She danced with softness and strength, moving to the rhythm of classical Eastern melodies, flaunting her beauty without reserve.
Though her aim was to entice, there was a moment of pure joy in expressing herself through movement.
The wide sleeves of her outfit brushed against Pei Yu’s body, and a delicate satin fan slipped across his face.
He lifted it slowly, eyes closed, welcoming the faint breeze.
The silky texture carried a light, rosy scent—not overpowering, but like a subtle aphrodisiac that stirred the heart.
As the fabric fell away, Pei Yu met the gaze of the little fox—moist eyes shimmering with emotion.
He reached out and caught the slipping sleeve, pulling it back into his embrace.
“Eh…”
The little fox’s carefully maintained composure shattered. She stepped on the hem, lost her balance, and tumbled into Pei Yu’s arms.
Weightless, Hua Che closed her eyes until she landed safely against him.
Her clothes threatened to come undone, and Pei Yu’s warm hands pressed gently against her nearly bare back, holding her steady.
“Professor Pei, you’re too much…” she murmured, voice low and playful, without an ounce of reproach.
“Too much for you,” he teased, fingers kneading the back of her neck a little firmer.
The fox’s most sensitive spots were the nape and chin. With his fingers resting there, she melted instinctively in his arms, snuggling closer with a soft snort.
She rubbed her nose against his neck and chuckled softly, “I didn’t mean to.”
Hua Che nestled closer, breathing small, quick breaths.
He fought to keep the fiery hunger stirred by pheromones from becoming obvious, inhaling deeply to soothe the blaze within.
His eyes glistened with emotion, chest rising and falling with each breath, lips parting as if to silently plead for indulgence.
Pei Yu loved teasing that spot on her neck, gently pinching it like a tender animal’s skin.
He noticed the effect immediately—the little fox visibly relaxed, comforted by his touch.
“Do you enjoy dancing?” he asked softly, brushing stray strands of pink hair from her forehead.
“You look like you’re having fun.”
Hua Che wasn’t sure if Pei Yu was serious or teasing, but he smiled slyly.
“Of course I like it. Dancing stretches my body, keeps my ligaments flexible…”
He squinted playfully, eyes gleaming.
“Professor Pei, I dance hard—I can even bend my legs all the way behind my head.”
The sly fox was definitely flirting.
He knew how to stir imagination, dropping suggestive hints effortlessly.
Pei Yu wrapped his arms around Hua Che’s waist and smiled low.
Feeling the fox’s slight tension, he gently shifted her seated sideways on his lap away from any risk.
“How about I build you a dance studio at home?”
The little fox, still glowing from the moment, blinked in surprise.
“You said… what?”
“My place is mostly empty except for my room and study. There’s a large open area that’s unused.”
Pei Yu’s tone was serious, his voice steady.
“If you love dancing, I can prepare a special room for you. You can choose the colors, the furniture—everything.”
“This way, even in a new space, it’ll feel like home.”
The fox’s seductive mask briefly slipped, replaced by genuine astonishment.
He stared, speechless.
“I… don’t actually dance that much… but today I danced for you, and I was really happy.”
His thoughts tangled. This Alpha was unlike any other he’d met.
Though pheromone dominance and pushing Omegas were natural instincts for Alphas, Pei Yu seemed different.
So rational…
Confused by Pei Yu’s sincerity, Hua Che whispered softly,
“What’s the difference… between this and ‘our home’?”
His voice barely audible.
“Don’t like the idea of a dance studio?”
Hua Che closed his eyes and breathed deeply, calming the flutter inside.
“I do like it. I really do.”
He rested his head on Pei Yu’s shoulder, eyes half-lidded as if lost in a dream.
“The studio would be bright and spacious, with a whole wall of mirrors.”
“Of course mirrors—you can see how beautiful you look when you dance.”
He curled his arms around Pei Yu’s neck, his imagination drifting.
“If there’s a mirror, does that mean Professor Pei can be there too…?”
“Huh?”
Pei Yu narrowed his eyes, sensing a playful challenge.
“I mean… you could dance with me.”
Hua Che hurried to explain, cheeks flushing, avoiding Pei Yu’s gaze with a guilty smile.
Startled by Pei Yu’s sharp look, he hid behind his plush fox ears.
“Kakiyo.”
Suddenly, Pei Yu shifted into his deep, calm Sakura Crane voice—a tone both serious and composed, tinged with an elder’s authority.
The fox shrank, curling his tail tightly around himself, feeling the weight of the moment.
“As a psychiatry professor with a minor in psychology, you can’t fool me.”
Pei Yu tapped the tip of his nose lightly.
“Besides, you’re an open book, little fox.”
“I’ll tell you later,” Hua Che promised, lowering his head sheepishly like a scolded student.
“I’ll tell you once the studio is ready…”
Pei Yu couldn’t suppress a laugh—seeing the charm in teasing this fox for the first time.
“Wow, that’s too much!”
Hua Che caught on and raised his hand to playfully swat Pei Yu’s arm—but it dropped limply, no force at all.
“All right, I’m off to pay the manager. You can start planning how to decorate your dance studio.”
“Okay?”
Hua Che called after Pei Yu, who stood, hooked his finger under the fox’s chin.
His eyes glowed red in the flickering candlelight.
“Professor Bae, call me Sakura Tsuruna again, listen carefully.”
The fox’s coquettish gaze was unmistakable.
“Your tastes are unusual.”
Pei Yu turned back, rubbing the soft fox ears with a gentle, indulgent smile.
His voice lowered to a soothing murmur, coaxing,
“Kakiyo…”
