Chapter 30: Be Punished And Hold On A Little Longer
Pei Yu was always extremely serious when it came to his research, but now, whenever he was with Hua Che, his seriousness seemed to deepen even more.
Though intimidated by this newfound intensity, someone from the institute finally mustered the courage to join Pei Yu’s research team.
Scientific research was always a high-stakes gamble — no one knew how long breakthroughs would take or if the work would even yield results.
Plans moved forward quickly. Pei Yu assigned tasks during group meetings and set deadlines for their next discussion.
Nobody in the institute really understood why Pei Yu had suddenly focused on “compulsive behavior.” He had never shown interest in this area before.
Yet, because the project was led personally by the dean, it was hard to refuse participation. Rumors swirled that this research had something to do with the beautiful fox Omega who was often seen with Pei Yu.
That night, after finishing dinner and cleaning up the kitchen, Pei Yu sat on the couch reviewing the treatment plan he had drafted.
The study aimed to tackle compulsive psychological behaviors, especially those related to sexual invisibility.
His approach was a gradual release of the hidden impulses, combining control and release, until the compulsive urges were fully dissolved.
Pei Yu couldn’t simply rely on medication to regulate Hua Che’s brain chemistry after the last trial. The test results were baffling. There was no clear cause or immediate improvement from drugs, so he had to devise a more indirect physical therapy method.
He pressed his sun acupoint with some frustration.
There had to be a reason.
He couldn’t just tell Hua Che the treatment required him to come over and endure the “sessions.”
Actually, Pei Yu had learned a lot in this unfamiliar field and even practiced on test subjects to refine his touch — to be firm yet careful enough not to cause harm.
But what he truly needed was the right moment.
As he was pondering, the restless little fox approached him.
“Professor Pei, will the graduating class take me to the lab tomorrow?”
“The classes ended last week, that was the final session. Everyone’s busy preparing papers and exams…”
Pei Yu hesitated.
Final exams?
He recalled joking about asking the little fox to help with endorsements.
Hua Che, unaware of the situation, sat down beside Pei Yu, disappointment flickering on his face.
He wanted to attend class — not only to experience the atmosphere but also to feel closer to Professor Pei.
“Last time in class, I said I would memorize the key points. Did I remember them?”
Pei Yu suddenly asked.
Hua Che’s body tensed. Being quizzed unexpectedly, he felt a strange mix of fear and unpreparedness.
“Didn’t you say it was just a joke?”
“You promised you’d remember.”
Pei Yu’s tone was stern, but his eyes softened with a gentle smile.
The little fox, who had struggled through years of hardship, saw the underlying meaning immediately — Pei Yu wasn’t trying to punish him but just looking for a reason to tease.
This usually so serious, controlled Alpha had found an excuse to play.
Curious and a little excited, Hua Che leaned closer.
Pei Yu cupped his cheeks tenderly.
“What did I say would happen if you couldn’t remember?”
Hua Che leaned into the warmth, pressing his hand against Pei Yu’s and nuzzling his palm with soft lips.
“Professor Pei said… he’d punish me.”
His voice rose with a playful lilt, full of anticipation rather than fear.
Pei Yu’s usual cold calm melted into a warm smile.
“Looking forward to it?”
Instead of answering, Hua Che asked, “Will it hurt?”
“It’ll be a bit sharp.”
Hua Che raised an eyebrow skeptically.
“I don’t believe you.”
A fox always knows how to bait a hook — enough to spark desire, but not so much as to bore.
Pei Yu’s smile deepened, almost mysterious and dangerous.
Rather than a tease, it felt like Hua Che had wandered right into a carefully laid trap.
He patted his knee.
“Come here.”
The firm command sent a thrill through Hua Che.
He obediently moved closer, knelt by Pei Yu’s side, sitting upright and trying to hold himself steady.
His tail flicked wildly, brushing against Pei Yu’s knees.
“Lean on me a bit.”
Hua Che placed his hands on Pei Yu’s shoulders and leaned in.
Though taller than Pei Yu seated, Hua Che felt himself gently supported, as if floating in someone’s arms.
He nervously hugged Pei Yu’s neck, holding his breath.
After a pause, Pei Yu’s strong palm landed sharply on the tip of Hua Che’s tail.
“Aah!”
Hua Che gasped, shivering as the precise impact sent a sharp chill through the tail’s nerve endings.
The sensation spread quickly.
Despite the discomfort, Hua Che managed to stay upright.
“Count,” Pei Yu instructed in a low, emotionless voice.
Hua Che’s voice trembled as he counted quietly.
Tears welled up unbidden.
Instead of immediate follow-up strikes, Pei Yu soothed the area with gentle rubs.
The pain faded quickly but left behind a prickling itch that was almost harder to bear.
Pei Yu’s patience was remarkable.
“Does it hurt?”
“No…”
Tears still glistened in Hua Che’s eyes as he pressed his cheek against Pei Yu’s neck.
“This is too mild, Professor.”
“Are you provoking me now, my little fox?”
Hua Che chuckled slyly.
“Just telling the truth…”
Suddenly, another sharp strike fell.
The tail twitched and curled back up.
Hua Che gasped, his face flushing deeply.
When the pain passed, deeper emotions surged.
Pheromones spilled out uncontrollably, and Pei Yu’s senses sharpened even more.
Even with the stinging strikes, the gentle caresses left Pei Yu struggling to maintain control.
“Forgot to count, little fox.”
“Uh… three…”
The reluctant count came with a soft snort from Hua Che.
His body relaxed completely in Pei Yu’s arms, utterly dependent.
Pei Yu lowered his gaze, steadying his breath and mind.
Though Hua Che trembled slightly, dressed neatly, his skin’s condition was unclear.
He gently patted Hua Che’s back.
“Shall we continue?”
Hua Che, confused and overwhelmed, nodded.
It had been a while since the last session, and he craved the care again.
“I want it, and I want it…”
“Let me see the colors I’ve painted myself.”
Pei Yu smiled warmly, encouraging him.
“Let me check, alright?”
Hua Che obeyed, sliding down to unzip and shed his coat, leaving only a thin shirt.
Pei Yu adjusted the air conditioner to cool the room.
Hua Che lay back in Pei Yu’s arms, restless.
His skin already bore a beautiful pattern, faint fingerprints marking the flushed surface, still warm from the previous session.
The brief pause had left a sense of emptiness and heightened anticipation.
“Professor Pei, I was thinking…”
His voice trailed off with a soft cry.
Pei Yu lifted him slightly, planting kisses along his earlobe before landing precise, firmer strikes.
Colors bloomed vividly across Hua Che’s skin.
He trembled as if electrified, leaning back, biting his lip.
His ears reddened, tail weakly drooping onto Pei Yu’s knees.
Emotion overwhelmed him.
Hua Che cried out, shaking on the edge of collapse.
Pheromones flowed freely, wild and potent, escaping from a body unaccustomed to such roughness.
He forgot to count; reason slipped away.
Pei Yu pressed firmly on the reddened skin, coaxing soft cries from the fox.
“How much do you like this?”
“I like it, I like it…”
His voice, raw and passionate, made control impossible.
Hua Che’s eyes shimmered with tears, looking up at Pei Yu with a vulnerable gaze.
“I want to, Professor, I want to willingly…”
Fingers twisted his shirt’s hem, wiping away Pei Yu’s sweat.
“What about your clothes?”
Pei Yu was unconcerned about that; he focused on the important parts.
He pulled Hua Che back into his arms, wiping tears and soothing.
“Not allowed yet, little flower.”
“Hold on a bit longer.”
“No…”
Hua Che whimpered miserably, delirious with emotion.
“You said… no soft needles. I’ll go home with you and give up everything…”
“You lied to the fox.”
Pei Yu had indeed said that before understanding Hua Che’s condition.
“Good boy, be obedient.”
Hua Che stirred, brightening at the praise.
Pei Yu kissed the tear-streaked cheeks, wiping away all sadness.
“I’ll reward you.”
“Shall we continue?”
“Yes… be cruel to me, please…”
Pei Yu’s pulse quickened as he struggled to maintain control.
He felt like he was burning alive, tortured by his own restraint.
He was worried about truly hurting Hua Che, carefully modulating his strength.
Sighing, he resumed with no pauses — fast, heavy strikes as if nearing the climax of their game.
The living room filled with the sharp sounds, mingled with Hua Che’s melting cries.
Pheromones spilled uncontrollably, soaking the floor.
Tears streamed, saliva dribbled, and Hua Che seemed on the verge of collapse.
His eyes rolled back, waist arching as he gripped Pei Yu’s wrist.
A flash of white light blurred his vision.
Pei Yu turned his face aside, some moisture catching on his cheek and lashes.
When Hua Che recovered, he looked at Pei Yu’s expression and took a calming breath.
His nerves still reeling, panic suddenly overtook him.
He hurriedly wiped at Pei Yu’s face, but missed some spots.
“Sorry, Professor Pei… I didn’t mean it! I’m sorry…”
How could he get it on Pei Yu’s face?
Hua Che’s tears flowed again, glands still wide open.
“You…”
“My fault. I should control myself better.”
“Don’t cry.”
Pei Yu lifted Hua Che’s chin and kissed his lips softly.
“Pei…”
“Don’t worry. I like it.”
Hua Che lowered his ears, looking guilty and pitiful.
“Sorry… I should have controlled it, or sat a bit shorter.”
From excitement and high spirits to sudden gloom — the switch was quick and drastic.
Pei Yu squinted slightly, pinching Hua Che’s cheek.
“I said I like it very much.”
Hua Che averted his eyes and whispered:
“You’re just trying to coax me.”
Pei Yu smiled helplessly, pulling Hua Che’s hand to wipe his cheek.
His other hand gently guided Hua Che’s head back.
“This is my masterpiece — how could I not like it?”
He kissed the back of Hua Che’s hand, licking the damp skin clean.
The little fox’s surprised eyes met his gentle smile.
“Is there still anything on my face?”
“Eyes…”
“Wipe it off for me.”
Hua Che raised his hand obediently, softly brushing Pei Yu’s eyelids and lashes.
Just as he moved to wipe on his shirt, Pei Yu caught his wrist and kissed his fingers tenderly.
The fox froze.
“Xiaohua, please give it to me next time, okay?”
Still dazed, Pei Yu added:
“If you can’t do it yourself, just tell me — I’ll take care of it.”
Now fully sober, Hua Che felt extremely sensitive.
He blushed so deeply he looked like a steamed fox.
“Me…”
Numbness and pain still lingered under his tail, and his heartbeat quickened under Pei Yu’s tender gaze.
Hua Che opened his mouth but couldn’t find the words, too shy to speak.
Pei Yu wasn’t in a hurry. He squeezed Hua Che’s hand gently and stroked the back.
“Don’t like this?”
The body often spoke louder than words — the little fox loved this intensely.
It was just that his heart, long locked away, had never truly opened to anyone or planned to.
Pei Yu lowered his gaze briefly, softening his voice like a gentle coax.
“It’s okay, I’ll take you for a shower.”
He glanced under the fox’s tail.
“A bit swollen, but no broken skin. I’ll apply some medicine soon… it will be fine.”
“Like it!”
Hua Che suddenly cried out.
After long mental struggles, he finally said it — a hard-won confession.
This “like” was very different from teasing or flirtatious affection.
Hua Che felt drained, rested his hands on Pei Yu’s shoulders, and took a deep breath.
A brief dizziness passed.
“Pei, I really like this…”
He said it with great effort.
Pei Yu sighed with relief, opening his arms to hold the little fox close.
The embrace soothed both skin and soul.
Hua Che relaxed fully, breathing deeply in Pei Yu’s arms.
“Good boy. You did great today.”
Pei Yu patted his head gently and lifted Hua Che into his embrace.
The little fox twisted slightly.
“We agreed — only give it to me.”
“If you have any thoughts, tell me everything.”
A soft chuckle whispered in Hua Che’s ear.
“If you’re disobedient, I’ll punish you.”
