After Amnesia, the Fishing-Type O Tempts Me to Mark Her - Chapter 17
*She’s not some weak, helpless, gold-digging Alpha!*
Cheng Yang bit her lip, remaining silent.
The Omega before her was practically a succubus, bewitching her into a dizzying daze where she lost all sense of reality.
A sharp sting on her tongue served as a constant reminder to avoid doing anything foolish.
Seeing Cheng Yang’s stillness, Xu Xun rubbed his nose against hers.
“Alright, I was just teasing you.”
Xu Xun straightened his disheveled hair and buttoned Cheng Yang’s shirt as if nothing had happened.
“If you don’t want to, I won’t force you.”
He paused. “I just need a little more reassurance.”
Cheng Yang’s eyes widened slowly.
If Xu Xun lacked reassurance, didn’t that indirectly imply that before her amnesia, she had often neglected him?
A wave of guilt washed over Cheng Yang. “Wife, don’t worry. From now on, I’ll follow you everywhere. I won’t leave your side for even a moment.”
Xu Xun smiled contentedly. “That’s more like it.”
After a moment of tenderness on the sofa, Cheng Yang, having calmed her restless emotions, sighed as she held Xu Xun.
“Wife, I’ll tell you a secret.”
Xu Xun asked curiously, “What secret?”
Cheng Yang hesitated for a moment before saying, “Actually, I never really liked being an actress or a celebrity. I checked my records and noticed I haven’t been very active in the entertainment industry these past few years.”
Xu Xun couldn’t help but ask, “You don’t like it? But I always thought you were born to be a star.”
“You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.”
As he said this, Xu Xun’s eyes sparkled, his gaze fixed intently on Cheng Yang.
Flushed by his direct and fervent praise, Cheng Yang’s face grew warm. “Darling, your compliments are making me blush.”
Xu Xun chuckled. “What’s there to be embarrassed about?”
Cheng Yang countered, “Then let me ask you this: Did you fall for me at first sight because of my face?”
Xu Xun hesitated, the words catching in his throat. “Well…”
Cheng Yang feigned annoyance. “Hmph, I knew it! You’re just shallow.”
Xu Xun wanted to protest that she was misunderstanding, but every time he saw Cheng Yang’s face, his breath caught in his throat. He couldn’t possibly lie and say he wasn’t interested.
“Yes.”
After circling around the issue for a while, Xu Xun finally gave Cheng Yang a straight answer.
“Back in school, I wasn’t the only one who liked you.”
Hearing Xu Xun’s grumbling, Cheng Yang realized she was jealous again and tried to quickly change the subject.
But it was too late.
Xu Xun continued, “Do you know that a third of my class were your fans?”
“Whenever you were at school, they’d swarm your classroom door during breaks, and even the teachers couldn’t chase them away.”
Cheng Yang’s heart skipped a beat. She had completely forgotten about those days.
As Xu Xun grew more animated, Cheng Yang instinctively covered her lips with her hand.
“Honey, please stop. It’s so embarrassing.”
A warm, wet sensation spread across her palm. Cheng Yang realized Xu Xun had taken advantage of her distraction to kiss her hand.
“Blocking me with your hand? Why not use your mouth? I want to kiss you.”
Cheng Yang awkwardly shifted away. “We can kiss later.”
The moment she moved, Xu Xun pressed closer, wrapping her arms around Cheng Yang’s waist and leaning in.
“I meant everything I said earlier. You were the school’s most popular girl. Who knows how many people secretly had a crush on you besides me?”
“Xu Xun!” Cheng Yang finally snapped, calling Xu Xun by her full name.
The smile on Xu Xun’s lips deepened.
But Cheng Yang could see the anger simmering in her eyes.
She had only blurted out “Xu Xun” in the heat of the moment. Now that she had calmed down, she felt so guilty she couldn’t meet Xu Xun’s gaze.
“You called me Xu Xun?” Xu Xun pressed her lips together, her arms loosening their grip on Cheng Yang. “After all this time together, you still call me that? It’s been so long since I’ve heard you say my name like that.”
“Honey, I’m sorry.”
Cheng Yang was an Alpha who knew when she was wrong, admitted her mistakes, and knew when to back down.
She quickly apologized, and seeing Xu Xun’s expression soften, she cautiously moved closer.
“Honey, I was just caught up in the moment. I don’t even remember what I said. Let’s pretend it never happened, okay? We won’t mention it again.”
Cheng Yang had always felt that Xu Xun was incredibly sensitive, both physically and emotionally. She wondered if it was because his heat cycle was approaching.
Gathering her courage, Cheng Yang asked, “Honey, you’ve been acting a bit strange lately. Is your heat cycle coming soon?”
Xu Xun smiled. “How did you know?”
“Just a guess.”
Xu Xun paused, then nodded. “It’s getting close.”
Cheng Yang stammered, “Th-then… then…”
She was nervous, yet also eager, her heart pounding so hard her chest trembled. But she couldn’t be too obvious; Xu Xun would think she was a “pervert.”
Suppressing her excitement, Cheng Yang subtly lifted her eyelids for a quick, furtive glance at Xu Xun.
Xu Xun’s lips curved into a smile, his eyes brimming with amusement.
That single glance was enough. Cheng Yang’s eyelids snapped shut again.
Xu Xun’s voice was usually gentle and soothing, its timbre soft and melodious, like the wispy clouds that drifted through mountain valleys.
Cheng Yang felt a tingling numbness spread through her body.
She was supposed to be a dominant Alpha, yet whenever she was near Xu Xun, she instantly transformed into a clingy, submissive creature.
Noticing Cheng Yang biting her lower lip, Xu Xun cupped her chin and leaned in for a kiss.
This time, Xu Xun took the initiative, pressing Cheng Yang down beneath her.
Bl00d rushed to Xu Xun’s head, and the glands at the nape of her neck began to itch and burn.
Cheng Yang’s head hung unsupported, avoiding a painful collision with the sofa.
Instead, Xu Xun firmly gripped the back of her neck with one hand, while her other hand pressed against Cheng Yang’s lower abdomen.
This position…
Something felt wrong.
Cheng Yang forgot she was an Alpha, instinctively arching her hips against Xu Xun’s waist, rubbing against her, and obediently parting her lips.
The next moment, Xu Xun bit down on her lower lip.
The Omega’s kiss was fierce and passionate, completely unlike their previous tentative encounters.
Cheng Yang even felt like Xu Xun wanted to devour her whole.
She slowly opened her eyes, only to realize that Xu Xun had been staring intently at her face the entire time, savoring every expression of pleasure that flickered across her features.
*But I’m the Alpha!*
Just a kiss, and she’d been so easily overpowered by her Omega? She refused to accept it!
Cheng Yang rallied her strength, trying to push herself up with both hands, but Xu Xun’s kisses left her too weak to move.
“Mmm—”
Cheng Yang hummed through her nose, turning her head away in a petulant refusal to let Xu Xun kiss her.
Her resistance lasted less than two seconds before Xu Xun pressed her back down, effortlessly pinning her legs and waist.
Now she didn’t even have the strength to sit up.
Cheng Yang began to question her entire existence.
How could Xu Xun be so strong? His grip was like iron, leaving her utterly helpless.
She struggled again.
Failure.
She struggled again.
Another failure.
Cheng Yang resigned herself to her fate.
Xu Xun began kissing her throat and collarbone, his fingers deftly slipping beneath the hem of her shirt.
“……”
Cheng Yang couldn’t accept the fact that she was a delicate little Alpha.
It must be because she hadn’t fully recovered from her injury. That was the only explanation for why Xu Xun could pin her down and rub against her like this.
*That has to be it!*
