- Chapter 14 - What polyandry? It looks like a broken rag doll
“Ah… don’t… Gao Muting, you bastard…” Bai Zixin bit her lip, her body trembling as Ye Yibai’s hands roamed over her, unrestrained and teasing. Shame and sweetness tangled together until she felt as if she might collapse.
Woohoo, what polyandry? This is nothing but wife abuse! she thought faintly, though her flushed face betrayed her confusion.
After what felt like forever, Gao Muting finally let out a low growl, his breath rough in her ear. He leaned close, gazing at her tenderly, but stepped back with a faint smile. “It’s your turn,” he said to Ye Yibai, his tone equal parts challenge and indulgence.
Ye Yibai said nothing. Instead, he guided Bai Zixin gently, shifting her position with firm hands, as though she were porcelain in need of both care and possession. His grip tightened at her waist, his voice low and hoarse.
“Wife, I love you,” he whispered, stroking her back with one hand while threading his fingers through hers.
“Ah… no… I can’t… I can’t take it anymore…” Bai Zixin’s tear-bright eyes pleaded, yet her body melted further under their intensity. Her thoughts blurred, her spirit nearly swept away by the storm of devotion surrounding her.
The night went on in a blur of heat and unrelenting closeness. They claimed every corner of the room — the bed, the coffee table, even the carpet — until Bai Zixin, delicate and pampered as she was, felt like a fragile doll played with until exhaustion. Her lips parted slightly, her breath shallow, her whole being caught between indulgence and surrender.
The warm glow of the bedside lamp painted the room in golden hues, highlighting the disarray of pillows and sheets, the unmistakable atmosphere of passion lingering in the air.
Bai Zixin curled in the center of the bed, her face still pink, her hair clinging messily to her cheeks. She leaned weakly against the pillow, whispering, “Wow… I want to sleep… I’m so tired…” Her voice was soft as silk, half coquettish, half protest, her misty eyes filled with helpless sweetness.
Gao Muting lay on his side beside her, his hand resting over her waist, his breath still uneven. He chuckled, voice low and teasing. “Tired?”
Ye Yibai leaned close as well, brushing stray strands of hair from her forehead with infinite gentleness. His tone was softer, soothing. “Thank you for your hard work, my wife.”
Bai Zixin covered her face with both hands, her voice rising with playful frustration. “You two are too much! Don’t ever do that again!”
In perfect unison, they answered, “Are you sure?”
Her muffled groan came from behind her palms: “No—no!”
She rolled over, burrowed into the quilt, and curled into a ball like a startled cat, her shy voice trembling yet sweet.
Gao Muting reached out, tugging her wrist until her face peeked out from the blanket. He kissed her lips lightly. “Alright, no more teasing. Be good, go to sleep.”
Ye Yibai pressed a kiss to her forehead from the other side. “We’ll take turns holding you tonight, so you’ll stay warm.”
“I’m not afraid of the cold,” she mumbled into the pillow, “I’m just afraid you’ll… mess around again…”
The two men exchanged glances, their shared laughter filling the room.
“Then we’ll let you rest this time,” Gao Muting promised with a grin.
“Tomorrow’s a day off. We’ll be home all day,” Ye Yibai added meaningfully.
Her eyes widened as she pulled the quilt tighter around herself. “…Are you two waiting for me to ‘recharge’ for some ulterior motive?”
Together, they nodded. “Yes.”
“!!!” Bai Zixin squeaked, hiding deeper beneath the covers. Yet within minutes, she was fast asleep, nestled between her two husbands. Despite her mock complaints, her face still glowed with the gentle exhaustion of being loved so thoroughly.
By dawn, she dreamed sweetly — a dream where she was still Bai Zixin, but more than that, a little princess spoiled and adored by the whole world.
