After Becoming the Family Head, I Got an Unofficial Fiancée (GL)

Gu Weiyan had lived a dramatic and eventful life for the first 27 years. When she finally stood at the pinnacle of her family, someone told her that, as the head of the family, she had to marry a pre-arranged fiancée.

Her fiancée was a small and delicate girl. The first time Gu Weiyan saw her, she turned to her family and asked, “Is she of legal age yet?”

Her family replied, “Yes, yes, she is.”

And so, her tiny fiancée moved into Gu Weiyan’s home. During the day, Gu Weiyan was busy with business battles, and at night, she would come back to help her little fiancée with her homework. Whenever the school called for a parent-teacher meeting, Gu Weiyan would have to go and represent her “wife.” Over time, Gu Weiyan became increasingly frustrated, watching her little fiancée focus so seriously on her homework in the study. In her heart, a decision began to form.

She decided to break off the engagement.

When her little fiancée learned that Gu Weiyan was planning to call off the engagement, she didn’t say anything. She just clenched the hem of her dress, lowered her head, and silently shed tears.
