After being banished by the hero, I decided to join another party – the revival of the legendary hero's team! However, the seductive heroine in her thirties clad in a bikini armor has a mysterious reason why she can't fight! - Episode 11
Knock, knock, knock.
Early in the morning, there was a knock at the door.
Aisha and I don’t really have many acquaintances, so it was unusual for someone to visit us.
I cautiously opened the door to find…
The guild receptionist, Amanda, standing there with an armful of paperwork.
“What… is all this?”
“Ah, so it’s started already,” Aisha said knowingly, as if she had anticipated this.
“These are applications for new members wanting to join Idra. Please take a look through them!”
“Applications? For party members? This many?”
“Yes, I’ve delivered them. Take your time, and let us know the results once you’ve made your decision. Well then!”
Amanda left as quickly as she had arrived, leaving behind the mountain of applications.
“Why are there so many applications? I don’t get it.”
“Fudra, you underestimate yourself. I expected this. Even if we don’t plan on accepting anyone, it’s only polite to at least go through them. Let’s review them together, okay?”
“You’re right.”
While I agreed to look through them, Idra is meant to be just a husband-and-wife party. We don’t have plans to add anyone else.
But still… twenty applicants? And all of them women?
“What do you think, Fudra?”
“Let’s start with the assumption that we won’t be accepting anyone.”
“Fair enough. But it would be rude to dismiss these without reviewing them, so let’s take a look.”
Aisha has a sense of responsibility that I admire.
We began going through the applications together. I assumed it would just be a quick review and rejection process.
However, Aisha stopped suddenly on one application.
“Olga…”
She stared at the profile, her expression contemplative.
The applicant’s image showed a stunning woman with light blond hair cut straight at the sides and styled with a sharp fringe. Her pale complexion contrasted with Aisha’s sun-kissed skin, giving her an aristocratic elegance.
Her striking eyes, slightly upturned, gave her a haughty look. Combined with her sharp features, she seemed more like a noble villainess than an adventurer.
Despite this, her curvaceous figure rivaled Aisha’s—if Aisha radiated vibrant health, Olga had a cool, porcelain beauty.
“Does something about her bother you?” I asked.
“Yes…”
Aisha seemed deep in thought, clearly wrestling with something.
“Aisha?”
Finally, she sighed and began to explain.
Olga was one of the two knights who survived the fateful battle at the demon king’s castle. She was also one of the key witnesses who cleared Aisha’s name, proving her innocence.
“But if she was a knight, why is she an adventurer now?”
“It’s… complicated,” Aisha said with a pained expression.
Apparently, Olga’s testimony had angered a powerful noble family—specifically one whose daughter had been engaged to the so-called hero Kevin. As a result, Olga was forced to resign from her position as a knight.
“That’s awful.”
“Yes, and to make things worse, Olga has a particular skill that has made her life even more difficult as an adventurer.”
“A skill? What kind of skill?”
“It’s hard to explain, but she’s endured a lot. That’s why I was wondering… could we consider adding her to our party?”
The idea of bringing someone else into our small, intimate party made me uneasy.
Aisha and I had something special—a husband-and-wife dynamic that felt perfect.
Would adding someone else upset that balance?
“I don’t mind bringing her into the party, but won’t she feel left out? It’s just the two of us now, and I wouldn’t want her to feel isolated.”
Aisha folded her hands in thought. After a moment, her expression brightened as if she had come to a decision.
“What if we think of this as both a party addition and… a matchmaker’s introduction?”
“A matchmaker’s introduction? What do you mean?”
“Fudra, as a former member of the hero’s party, you’re eligible for multiple marriages, aren’t you? I’d remain your primary wife, and Olga could be… a second wife or a companion.”
I stared at her, stunned.
“Aisha, you’re the one suggesting this? I thought you wanted to keep it just between us.”
“I do! I want to monopolize you completely. But Olga is different. She’s someone I owe a great debt to. Even after everything, she treated me kindly. She was like a close friend to me. I won’t force you into anything, but… could you at least meet her?”
I hesitated. The idea of bringing someone else into our dynamic was unsettling.
But if Olga meant that much to Aisha, I owed it to her to consider it.
“Alright, Aisha. If this is important to you, I’ll meet her. Let’s talk it over together, the three of us.”
“Thank you, Fudra.”
Aisha smiled warmly, but I couldn’t shake the mix of emotions swirling in my chest.
If Olga was truly as important to Aisha as she seemed, then meeting her was the least I could do. Still, I couldn’t help feeling a bit conflicted.
