- Episode 5 - Marriage, Aisha’s Truth, and Our First Night Together
After finishing our meal, Aisha and I headed to the Adventurer’s Guild together.
When we arrived in front of the guild, Aisha’s expression darkened.
“Fudra, are you really okay with this?”
“I applied because I wanted this. You don’t need to ask me again.”
“I see… But I’m hated by so many people… Are you sure you’re okay with that?”
Her face grew sad, filled with doubt and hesitation.
“Aisha, I love you. I’m marrying you because I want to. That’s all that matters.”
“You’re right… Thank you, Fudra.”
Aisha smiled faintly, her spirits lifting a little.
We stepped inside and stood in line at the counter.
As we waited, I overheard whispers from nearby adventurers.
“Hey, isn’t that Aisha? How does someone who became the Demon King’s woman dare show her face here?”
“Honestly, if it were me, I’d rather die.”
“She seduced the Demon King to survive, didn’t she? What a disgrace…”
These bastards… Should I beat them within an inch of their lives?
I clenched my fists, but Aisha gently tugged on my sleeve, silently urging me to let it go. I took a deep breath and decided to hold back for now.
Thankfully, the receptionist from before quickly came to assist us.
“So, you’re both here to register your marriage and apply as a party, correct? Please fill out these forms.”
She spoke quietly, perhaps trying to prevent further trouble.
I appreciated her tact—she probably realized that announcing our marriage would cause a stir. It reminded me that not everyone hated Aisha. Even Baldo had seemed sympathetic toward her.
Maybe, just maybe, not everyone in the world despised her.
“Shall we fill these out, Aisha?”
“Yes… Fudra, are you sure you won’t regret this?”
“Not a chance. I’m honestly thrilled.”
“Thank you…”
Together, we filled out the forms and submitted them.
Normally, this would be a moment to celebrate by treating everyone at the guild’s tavern, a common tradition for newlyweds. But in this situation, that wasn’t an option.
There was no way the people whispering cruel words would offer us congratulations.
“That completes your registration. If you’ve decided on a party name, we can record it now. If not, you can decide later.”
“Aisha, do you have any preference for the name?”
“No, I’ll leave it to you.”
“Are you planning to add more members to the party?”
“Not at all. As long as I have you, that’s enough.”
Since it was essentially just the two of us, something simple would do.
“Please register us as ‘Aidra.’”
It was just a combination of our names, but it felt right.
Aisha’s face turned a little red, and she looked pleased.
“Aidra it is. Your party has been registered.”
With the paperwork done, we left the guild in a hurry.
Thanks to the receptionist’s quick thinking, we avoided any major trouble this time. But this couldn’t go on forever.
Part of me considered teaching those who badmouthed Aisha a lesson… but seeing her smile so happily beside me, I decided to let it go for now.

When we got back to Aisha’s house, she turned to me with a bright smile.
“We’re married now.”
“Yeah, we are.”
Her smile was radiant, full of joy.
“Fudra, I think it’s time I told you everything about me… Is that okay?”
Her face grew serious, and a faint sadness flickered in her eyes.
“If it’s hard to talk about, you don’t have to.”
Everyone has things they’d rather not share. In Aisha’s case, it was likely about her time as the Demon King’s “lover.”
“No, I want you to know. You’re my husband now, Fudra. I want you to hear this.”
With that, Aisha began her story.
As I listened, I realized her experience wasn’t what I had imagined.
The Demon King, Lucifard, had struggled for years to produce an heir. Unlike other demons, the Demon King had a unique ability—he could impregnate beings of any race, from demons to beasts, even angels.
It was strange but plausible. After all, in my previous world, depictions of demons often included creatures with ram heads or angelic wings.
However, despite countless attempts, Lucifard could not conceive a child with any of his partners.
That’s when he captured Aisha.
But rather than assault her, he used some kind of syringe to inject his essence into her womb.
Aisha became pregnant.
“To ensure the baby’s survival, they used potions and magic on me,” she explained.
“I see…”
“But don’t worry, Fudra—it wasn’t as awful as you might think. After I became pregnant, I was moved from a prison cell to a luxurious room and treated well. Though I was terrified of carrying a child that wasn’t human…”
She spoke lightly, but I couldn’t imagine the fear she must have felt. Being trapped, surrounded by enemies, and pregnant with the child of another species…
“And after that…?”
“I gave birth, and that was the end of it. The Demon King didn’t mistreat me, but living among demons was unbearable. When I asked to be released, they let me go. That’s the whole story.”
“So… you weren’t really his lover?”
“Not in the way people think. There was no physical relationship. To be precise, I was just a woman who gave birth to the Demon King’s child.”
She let out a hollow laugh.
“I guess that makes you my first. My true first partner, Fudra.”
“Wait, so… you were a virgin when you got pregnant and gave birth?”
“Yes… It was excruciating. Truly like living in hell.”
As a man, I couldn’t even begin to imagine that kind of pain.
“…”
“Don’t look at me like that, Fudra. If I hadn’t gotten pregnant, I might have died in that cell. In a way, I was lucky. That’s how I choose to see it… But there’s something else I need to tell you. This is a secret known only to the royal family and their ministers. You must never share it with anyone.”
“I won’t. I promise.”
“The child I gave birth to… bore the mark of the ‘Satan Prince.’”
“The Demon Prince…”
“Yes, the child I gave birth to is destined to become the next Demon King. That’s why Demon King Lucifard gave me the honorary title of ‘Satan Prince Mother.’”
“What does that mean exactly?”
“It’s not a formal position, but it signifies that I’m the mother of the future Demon King. Because of this, demons won’t consider me an enemy. For example, in the past, a goat that gave birth to a future Demon King was protected until its death. Similarly, an angel who bore a Demon King was safeguarded by heaven. While I didn’t receive that kind of protection since I returned to the human world, demons won’t see me as a foe anymore.”
“That’s… an incredible story.”
“It is. But as a princess, I couldn’t keep this secret from my father, the Emperor. I had to tell him that I gave birth to the Demon King’s child and that this child would eventually succeed Lucifard. As a result, I was stripped of my royal status.”
“But if this information wasn’t made public, how did the rumor about you being the Demon King’s lover start?”
If no one knew the truth, then how could such a story spread?
“There were spies from both the Empire and the Kingdom monitoring the demons. When they saw me living in luxury at the Demon King’s castle, they assumed I was his lover. Perhaps my father, the Emperor, also heard these rumors before I told him the truth.”
She had been treated with care and respect while pregnant with the Demon King’s child. It wasn’t hard to see why people jumped to conclusions.
“I… I don’t even know what to say.”
“It’s okay. I know it’s a lot to take in, and I’m sorry to burden you with it. But that’s the truth. On top of that, I received immense compensation from the Demon King and a severance payment from my father. As a result, I’m incredibly wealthy. So, Fudra, if you ever decide you don’t want to work anymore, just let me know. I have enough money for us to live comfortably for the rest of our lives.”
“I don’t care about the money. What makes me happy is knowing I’m your first. And you’re my first, too.”
“Really? That makes me happy to hear.”
But one question still lingered in my mind.
“Um, Aisha… I’m sorry if this sounds awkward, but why are you, um… so sensual?”
Aisha’s cheeks flushed a deep red.
“Are you asking why I’m… so lustful? Honestly, I’m not entirely sure. But I suspect it’s because of the potions I drank and the magic cast on me to ensure the Demon King’s child was born safely. Before being captured, I didn’t feel this way, even though I wore bikini armor. So… it must be because of those treatments.”
“I see…”
Her expression suddenly grew somber.
“There’s one more thing I need to tell you, Fudra. Because I gave birth to the Demon King’s child, I… I can’t have children anymore. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier.”
I froze, unsure of how to respond. How could I possibly comfort her in this moment?
“Well… I can be a bit jealous sometimes, you know. I might’ve even felt jealous of our children because I always want to be your number one. So, in a way, this might be for the best.”
“You’re such an odd one, Fudra.”
Aisha smiled warmly, and I knew my words had been the right ones.
“Yeah, maybe I am.”
“Well then, now that we’ve cleared everything up, shall we move on to tonight’s activities? You’re taking the lead this time, right?”
“Of course. Though I think the food earlier may have… um… had an effect.”
“Oh my, you’re already raring to go. Well, it is our wedding night.”
“It’s only natural, right? Shall we take a shower first, Aisha?”
“Good idea. Fudra, why don’t we shower together?”
“Sure, let’s do that.”
I had a feeling tonight would be another sleepless night… and tomorrow, I’d be running on fumes again.
