After Being Bitten By Top-Tier O, Flop A Went Viral - Chapter 18
18: Happy?
At this moment, the sweetness level in the second livestream room had already surpassed the other two rooms by several times.
Comment 1: Munch munch munch. There’s really nothing much to ship about Qin Que, munch munch munch. Don’t scare me like this, munch munch munch. How could this possibly make me explode from sweetness? Munch munch munch.
Comment 2: I can’t keep falling like this. I was really here for the instant-noodle couple. Why can’t I leave once I enter this livestream? What kind of livestream is this? It’s poisonous, folks! You’re all terrible influences!
Comment 3: Took a day off and woke up early to watch this variety show. Eating this well is exactly what I deserve.
Comment 4: Qin Que Fan Club, open up! Who’s out here comparing Qin Que to a dog? Oh, it’s Qin Que herself? Never mind then.
Comment 5: The way you climbed onto someone’s bed with pork cutlets was really cool, but the way you recited electrical formulas was really awkward.
Comment 6: I was wrong, I was really wrong. I thought their distance yesterday was them preparing to blend into this season’s “on the verge of breaking up” CP segment. Who knew it was just them winding up for a knockout punch?
Comment 7: In less than a day, I’ve gone from being Yan Qing’s mom fan to her girlfriend fan, and now to her pet fan. Master, where are you? I’m really tired. Come take me home, okay?
Comment 8: Now I know why Qin Que never had chemistry with anyone before. How can you expect a weak bottom to act like a top? That’s just unfair.
Comment 9: The Flying Swallow has arrived! Who’s Qin Que?!
Comment 10: You’re finally here! The one your sister is feeding right now is her. Go roast her, I can’t take it anymore. I’ve been crying tears of jealousy in my dreams.
Under Yan Qing’s gaze, Qin Que stiffly, with a face burning red, mechanically finished the pork cutlet.
When Yan Qing finally withdrew her hand, Qin Que relaxed slightly, her back damp with a thin layer of cold sweat.
But then Yan Qing pulled out a wet wipe, and her hand approached again. Qin Que instinctively reached out and grabbed her fair wrist, her voice cautious but still soft, “What are you doing?”
“You’ve got grease on your mouth,” Yan Qing said, unbothered. She was thoroughly entertained by her own mental image of Qin Que with perked-up ears. “Let me wipe it for you.”
“Can I do it myself?” Qin Que looked up at her pleadingly, trying to convey that she really couldn’t keep up with this act.
But the woman mercilessly—and adorably—pouted, giving her an even more pitiful look. “Can’t I wipe it for you?”
What’s wrong with that? Go ahead, wipe it. Even if you rub my lips raw, it’s fine.
Qin Que silently released her hand and even stood up to make it easier for Yan Qing.
Even someone as slow as her could tell that Yan Qing took endless delight in teasing her. In fact, she’d witnessed the woman’s playful side during their first meeting. Maybe this was just how Yan Qing was in daily life.
Unlike the flawless idol she’d fantasized about, Yan Qing had harmless mischief and unpredictable antics. Only after Qin Que decided to truly see Yan Qing for who she was did she begin to understand her.
But she didn’t feel disillusioned at all.
The cool wet wipe brushed over her lips. Yan Qing’s movements were gentle, so gentle that Qin Que’s overheated brain finally calmed down.
She could feel a faint flutter in her heart, but it had nothing to do with the intrusive thoughts she hated.
In fact, when she was truly looking into Yan Qing’s focused eyes, it was hard for her mind to wander—even the whispers of instinct faded away.
Those eyes were like an inverted night sky, a boundless ocean.
Maybe controlling her thoughts wasn’t so difficult after all.
Qin Que realized then that, from the moment she woke up until now, she hadn’t once let her imagination run wild around Yan Qing.
Because Qin Que had unplugged the broadcast, it wasn’t until Yan Qing’s dorm neighbor, Yan Yuzhen, came to fetch her for the sports field that the two realized the day’s task had already been announced.
Main Task #2: Sports Day
Students are to gather on the sports field at 9:30 a.m. to participate in the school sports festival and earn campus currency.
Yan Yuzhen immediately monopolized one of Yan Qing’s arms, draping herself over the older woman like a boneless vine. After shooting a glare at Jin Shuo beside her, she winked at Qin Que and teased, “Am I in the way? Should Sister Qin take the other arm?”
What kind of image would that be? The two of them kidnapping Yan Qing?
Before Qin Que could respond, Yan Qing laughed and flicked the girl’s forehead. “Keep acting up, and I’ll hang you off Jin Shuo instead.”
“Fine, only Sister Qin- gets to tease you,” Yan Yuzhen grumbled under her breath, sticking out her tongue. “I don’t wanna hang off that jerk anyway.”
Jin Shuo: “…”
The four of them walked in pairs to the sports field behind the teaching building, where Mi Sike and the other two were already waiting.
The old rubber track had faded with time, its white lines freshly repainted by the production team, creating a stark contrast.
Once everyone had arrived, Mi Sike got straight to the point.
“Today’s sports festival consists of five events. The winner of each event will receive 30 campus coins, the runner-up 20, and third place 10. The first event—Double Carry Relay.”
Double Carry Relay required teams to carry each other in turns over a 70-meter sprint. Upon reaching the finish line, the pair would switch, and the one being carried would then carry their partner back to the starting point. If one teammate couldn’t carry the other, a single person could complete the entire relay but would have to wait 10 seconds at the finish line.
The latter rule was clearly added for Nie Sijun and Dai Yuchen’s sake. Given Nie Sijun’s frail physique, carrying Dai Yuchen—or even just standing still under his weight—would probably break her.
After warming up, the six contestants stood at the starting line, discussing who would carry whom first.
There wasn’t much to discuss. Qin Que and Jin Shuo immediately crouched down, ready to carry their partners. Dai Yuchen, for once, looked spirited—his height gave him a leg-length advantage.
When Yan Qing climbed onto her back, Qin Que’s body instinctively tensed. The omega’s warm breath brushed against her neck, reminding her of the night they first met, when she’d carried Yan Qing to escape a trap.
“You okay?” Yan Qing whispered in her ear.
Qin Que adjusted her grip and nodded firmly, as if convincing herself. “I’m fine.”
Just please stop talking in my ear. I almost kneeled right there.
“On your marks—go!” Mi Sike waved the little red flag, and the three pairs took off simultaneously, neck and neck at first.
Qin Que had always kept up with fitness, so even though Yan Qing was the tallest of the three being carried, she had no trouble. Jin Shuo, aside from being a skilled rapper, was also a street dancer, so his stamina was naturally good. Dai Yuchen had the advantage of height and build. The three reached the finish line at about the same time.
“Quick, switch!” Qin Que heard Yan Yuzhen’s urgent shout. The girl’s voice, usually sweet and playful, now carried a sharp edge.
Jin Shuo immediately crouched to let her climb onto his back, their practiced coordination seeming almost instinctive.
Before Qin Que could react, Yan Qing smacked her shoulder. “What are you waiting for? Let me down.”
Qin Que instinctively loosened her grip, and Yan Qing landed, turned, and crouched.
Staring at the omega’s shoulders—noticeably smaller than her own—Qin Que hesitated.
Yan Qing glanced back at her. “Get on.”
Before she knew it, Qin Que was on Yan Qing’s back, being carried swiftly and steadily back to the starting line.
Their switch had been a second or two slower than Yan Yuzhen and Jin Shuo’s seamless coordination, but they were still faster than Dai Yuchen, who was still stuck at the starting line.
Qin Que clung lightly to Yan Qing’s slender neck, the omega’s silky hair brushing against her cheeks, her scent enveloping her. But Qin Que’s attention was entirely captured by Yan Qing herself.
She could feel the warmth of the woman’s body, the resilience of her muscles, and the boundless energy beneath.
That energy was infectious. Even though Qin Que had always been good at sports, she’d never felt excitement during competitions before. But this time, when they overtook Yan Yuzhen and Jin Shuo, she couldn’t help but let out a cheer.
“Hold on tighter!” Yan Qing’s laughter carried on the wind. Without thinking, Qin Que tightened her arms around her, pressing closer.
They crossed the finish line half a body length ahead, securing first place. As Qin Que slid off Yan Qing’s back, she was still buzzing. “We won!”
Yan Qing, hands on her knees as she caught her breath, looked up with a bright, triumphant smile. “Happy?”
Qin Que was momentarily dazzled. She nodded. “Happy!”
Then she remembered. “Are you okay?”
She was significantly taller than Yan Qing. Even with the omega’s excellent stamina, sprinting like that had to be exhausting.
Worried, Qin Que moved closer to check on her, but Yan Qing had already straightened up.
Sweat glistened on the woman’s fair forehead, her crescent-moon eyes sparkling in the sunlight. She raised a delicate hand, palm out.
“If you’re happy, how about a high-five?”
