After Clinging to a Big Shot, the Pitiful Omega Got Pregnant - Chapter 29
Fu Yuan chuckled softly.
It was very faint, but enough to surprise Ji Xia, as it was the first time he’d ever heard Mr. Fu laugh. Curious, he looked up, wanting to see what Mr. Fu looked like when he smiled.
But the moment he lifted his head, his lips were sealed by the Alpha’s soft, warm ones.
This kiss was unlike the first one, which had only been a light brush against the lips.
Mr. Fu kissed him deeply, sucking and gently grinding against his lips. Ji Xia’s face flushed crimson, and his entire body felt hot he suspected his heat period might be returning.
But soon, Ji Xia didn’t have the mental capacity to think about such things because he was being kissed to the point of suffocation. He couldn’t catch his breath, he couldn’t breathe, like he was sinking underwater.
Yet, he didn’t struggle at all. Mr. Fu had finally found him good to kiss, and he didn’t want to interrupt.
Just when Ji Xia reached his limit of holding his breath and felt he was about to be kissed to death, he was released. Fresh air rushed in, and Ji Xia’s chest heaved as he gulped in air.
Fu Yuan pinched his earlobe, his voice carrying a rare trace of amusement. “How can you be so clumsy?!”
Ji Xia annoyingly pursed his lips. “I… I’m not very good at it.”
Fu Yuan said, “Hmm. I’ll teach you slowly later.”
“But…”
Ji Xia wanted to say that only people in a relationship frequently kiss.
But then he thought, he was bought by Mr. Fu. Mr. Fu could do whatever he wanted, and he didn’t have the right to resist.
Moreover, Mr. Fu was so good to him. Whatever Mr. Fu wanted, as long as he could give it, he would.
Fu Yuan cradled the side of Ji Xia’s face with one hand, his thumb gently rubbing the Omega’s lower lip. His eyes were deep-set as he asked, “But what?”
Ji Xia shook his head. He quickly changed the subject. “Mr. Fu, it’s a good thing you changed your mind and got back on the ship, or I would have been finished.”
Fu Yuan’s gaze remained fixed on the Omega’s plump lips. He leaned in a little closer and asked, “Do you know how you ended up on the boat?”
Ji Xia didn’t notice the Alpha’s intent. He thought of Zheng Qiufang, his mood sinking. He shook his head and said, “I don’t want to know. They’re not my family anymore; I’ll never talk to them again.”
He paused, then asked, “Mr. Fu, are we going back to the villa now?”
Fu Yuan didn’t lean in further; he stopped to talk to the Omega.
He asked, “Don’t you want to stay and play for a few days?”
Ji Xia remembered those Alphas, still feeling uneasy. “The Alphas who were chasing me, they’re here too.”
Fu Yuan said, “I’m here too. They won’t dare to do anything to you again. Didn’t you really want to go out to sea? Since you’re here, let’s stay and play for a week before going back.”
Ji Xia’s eyes lit up. “Really?”
Fu Yuan: “Mhm.”
He leaned in again, about to nip at those lips, but the Omega suddenly started excitedly chattering nonstop.
“Mr. Fu, I used to hear people say that deep-sea fishing might catch rare fish species that can sell for a lot of money. I also saw a news report about a fisherman who picked up a large fish that had been stunned by a collision and became a millionaire after selling it. If, if I could also catch a deep-sea fish, maybe I could get rich overnight.”
Fu Yuan paused, returning to his original distance. He said, “Alright, I’ll take you fishing tomorrow.” He patted Ji Xia’s waist. “Come on, let’s go back to the room first.”
Ji Xia answered “Okay” and slid off the Alpha’s lap.
His legs felt a little shaky the moment his feet touched the floor. Fortunately, Mr. Fu stabilized him so he didn’t fall.
The elevator went straight up to the 32nd floor. Fu Yuan used a card to let Ji Xia into a room.
Unlike the cramped four-person room Ji Xia had first stayed in, this was a spacious room with a king-sized bed. In front of the bed was a huge floor-to-ceiling window, which offered a view of the star-filled sky and the dark, deep sea.
Ji Xia’s heat period had just been brought under control, and he had gone through a lot that evening. He was feeling a little tired, standing by the window and yawning a few times.
Fu Yuan took a set of loungewear from the closet and gave it to him. “Wear mine for now. Go wash up.”
Ji Xia took the clothes and nodded, then went into the bathroom.
He showered quickly, emerging after only about ten minutes.
Fu Yuan subtly shifted his gaze away from his laptop. His eyes briefly swept over the Omega’s cheeks, which were flushed from the steam, lingered for a moment on the even redder lips, and then settled on his fair, straight, and slender legs. His throat subtly bobbed.
Ji Xia noticed the Alpha’s gaze and explained sheepishly, “The pants are too big and too long. I can wear Mr. Fu’s clothes like a nightgown.”
“Mhm.”
Fu Yuan acknowledged, withdrawing his gaze.
Ji Xia put the pants back into the closet. He stood by the closet for a while before hesitantly asking, “Mr. Fu, where am I sleeping tonight?”
Fu Yuan didn’t lift his head. “The bed.”
Ji Xia asked, “Then where will you sleep?”
Fu Yuan countered, “The bed is so big, isn’t it enough for both of us?!”
Ji Xia’s ear tips turned slightly red. “It is.”
He just hadn’t expected Mr. Fu to be willing to sleep with him.
It wasn’t particularly late, but Ji Xia’s eyes were already feeling heavy.
He slipped off his slippers, arranged them neatly by the bed, and quickly climbed onto the mattress.
Fu Yuan heard the scurrying, small-animal-like movement, which captured his attention. He looked up to see Ji Xia climbing from the foot of the bed towards the head.
The length of the gray loungewear wasn’t quite enough. His movement pulled the garment up, exposing half of his firm buttocks clad in black underwear, creating a sharp contrast with his fair legs.
Fu Yuan: “…”
Ji Xia successfully climbed to the head of the bed and burrowed under the covers.
He tucked himself obediently against the edge of the bed, leaving ample space for Mr. Fu.
Fu Yuan suddenly called out, “Ji Xia.”
Ji Xia’s hazy, sleepy brain immediately cleared up.
He looked up at Mr. Fu and replied, “Mr. Fu, what is it?”
Fu Yuan paused for a moment before continuing, “I am an Alpha.”
A question mark slowly floated over Ji Xia’s head. Of course, he knew Mr. Fu was an Alpha, and an incredibly powerful, top-tier one at that. A being whose pheromones could overwhelm top Alphas like Zhao Kuo and Jiao Mu-bai.
He didn’t understand what Mr. Fu meant, but seeing Mr. Fu’s serious expression, he didn’t dare to ask more. He nodded heavily and replied, “Mhm.”
Fu Yuan looked at him, the hand holding the stylus tightening slightly. He said, “I will never get married in this lifetime, and I have no plans to have children.”
Ji Xia nodded.
Steward Xu had told him this.
Fu Yuan asked, “Is that okay?”
Ji Xia felt it was a pity for someone as excellent as Mr. Fu not to marry or have children. But this was Mr. Fu’s own choice. Although he didn’t quite understand why Mr. Fu was asking for his opinion, all of Mr. Fu’s decisions must have a reason.
He nodded heavily again. “It’s okay.”
Fu Yuan relaxed his grip, and the stylus clacked onto the desk.
He reached up, closed the laptop, and walked into the bathroom with his clothes.
Silence returned to the bedroom, broken only by the sound of rushing water from the bathroom.
Ji Xia thought about Mr. Fu’s words for a while, still feeling it was a great shame. After all, if there was a mini version of Mr. Fu, he would be super cute.
As he thought, sleepiness crept back, and Ji Xia vaguely drifted off into dreamland.
Fu Yuan emerged from the bathroom with a damp coolness clinging to him. When he got into bed, he realized Ji Xia was already asleep. The Omega’s little face was flushed in his sleep, and a silly smile played on his lips. He was clearly having a good dream.
He reached out, wrapped his arm around the Omega’s waist, pulled him closer to the center of the bed, and looked down at him for a long time. Finally, he couldn’t resist nipping the Omega’s nose. “It seems if I don’t make it clearer, you won’t understand at all.”
The Next Day
The next day, Fu Yuan kept his promise and accompanied Ji Xia fishing on the second deck.
Initially, there weren’t many people on the deck. Ji Xia picked a spot, and under Fu Yuan’s guidance, cast his line. The hook, weighted with bait, landed on the sea surface and slowly sank. All that was left was to wait quietly for a fish to bite.
Ji Xia held his breath, his large eyes practically glued to the bobber floating on the water.
However, an hour passed. Mr. Fu had already caught several large fish, but Ji Xia’s line remained completely still no fish was biting.
Ji Xia scratched his head, looking expectantly at Mr. Fu.
Fu Yuan asked, “Want to switch spots with me?”
Ji Xia pursed his lips. “It seems like there are no fish here.” In reality, they were only about half a meter apart.
Fu Yuan said, “It’s okay.”
Ji Xia successfully switched positions with Fu Yuan, but another hour passed. Mr. Fu still caught several large fish, while Ji Xia’s fishing rod remained motionless.
Ji Xia: “…QAQ”
He looked at Mr. Fu, feeling aggrieved.
A faint smile touched Fu Yuan’s eyes as he slightly raised an eyebrow, seemingly asking, Do you want to switch again?
Feeling bullied by the fish collectively, Ji Xia bravely said, “Maybe this spot isn’t right for me. I’ll go look over there.” With that, he turned his head to look for a divinely chosen location for himself.
To his surprise, the previously empty second deck was now completely packed.
Almost every Alpha was surrounded by four or five Omegas. Ji Xia instantly recognized several of the Alphas who had chased him yesterday. He also spotted Jiao Mu-bai and Fu Su sitting beside Jiao Mu-bai.
Jiao Mu-bai winked at him. Ji Xia’s heart fluttered in panic. He quickly turned back, pulled his small stool closer to Mr. Fu, and said, “There’s no room left. I’ll just fish here.”
Fu Yuan suddenly reached out and gripped Ji Xia’s waist, directly lifting him onto his lap. “I’ll teach you how to fish.”
With his back pressed against the Alpha’s broad, firm chest, and his body enveloped in Mr. Fu’s familiar scent, the overwhelming sense of security slowly calmed Ji Xia’s previously frantic heart.
A blush rose on Ji Xia’s cheeks. He said, “Thank you, Mr. Fu.”
The Alphas who had been watching them, looking for an opportunity to poach the Omega, were caught off guard and force-fed a mouthful of public affection. Their expressions were complex and hard to describe.
But to leave just like that, they were unwilling.
Without the elf costume, the Omega lacked that ancient, mysterious aura and the faintly emanating desire, but he was still incredibly beautiful. His temperament was instead purer, and his smile was vibrant and lively.
The sight of him looking at one person with his whole heart was something they, who had long mingled in the high-stakes world of fame and fortune, rarely saw. They also wanted an Omega like that.
