- After Clinging to a Big Shot, the Pitiful Omega Got Pregnant
- Chapter 37 - Bad Intentions
Fu Xuan’s forehead was throbbing with visible veins. When he pushed open the bedroom door, his face was a mixture of red and white, conveying a sense of extreme frustration.
The Omega curled up on the chaise lounge reading a book looked relaxed and wore a red, antique-style robe. The wrinkles around his eyes were noticeable, but they couldn’t conceal his distinguished demeanor and heroic spirit.
He lifted his eyelids to glance at the man, then returned his gaze to the book. He spoke lazily, “You look at least thirty years older than me right now. Getting angry makes you age even faster, so don’t blame me if I go looking for a second spring, alright? It’s a good thing I didn’t go downstairs today, or you two would have made me angry again.”
Fu Xuan sat down beside the chaise lounge, composed his expression, and said, “I’m not angry. I just think that today’s young people are too unseemly.”
Jiang Yishao raised his delicate eyebrows and asked, “Who is so bold as to behave unseemly in front of you?”
Fu Xuan grumbled, “Who else do you think it could be?!”
Jiang Yishao was curious. “A-Yuan? Impossible. Setting aside certain issues, he is the one who pleases you the most.”
Fu Xuan unhappily curled his lip and said, “He brought that Omega with him. Right in front of so many people, he directly pulled him onto his lap and fed him food. Absolutely indecent.”
Jiang Yishao tossed the book aside, his face full of astonishment. “And you didn’t throw them out of the old residence for that?!”
Fu Xuan’s expression shifted, and he remained silent.
Jiang Yishao tugged at his sleeve and playfully whined, “Brother Xuan, I’m dying of curiosity. Hurry up and tell me why.”
Fu Xuan cleared his throat and said, “It’s nothing much. It’s just that the Omega was wearing an embroidered white shirt, which looked a little like the one you were wearing the first time we met.”
Jiang Yishao smiled, leaning into Fu Xuan’s arms. He said, “What a coincidence. I wish I had gone downstairs tonight to see. No, wait, even so, you wouldn’t have let him stay, at most you would have just been slightly more polite.”
Fu Xuan was silent for a moment, then described the events downstairs in detail.
He sighed, “He guards him so closely, yet he told us it’s just a bed partner relationship, and he’s absolutely not getting married or having children.”
Jiang Yishao teased, “It’s the Fu family’s ancestral gene. You are all the same. Your bodies figure things out faster than your brains.”
Fu Xuan said, “I pushed too hard before and harmed A-Chen and Qinghe. This time, I won’t interfere. I’ll let them figure it out themselves.”
Jiang Yishao’s expression darkened when he heard his son and daughter-in-law’s names. He said, “Since A-Yuan has an Omega by his side, having children is only a matter of time. His attitude should be made clear to prevent others from coveting him. Although there’s no evidence regarding the matter of A-Yuan’s medication being tampered with this time, a warning still needs to be issued, and people need to be cleaned out, lest some people actually start to think of themselves as members of the Fu family.”
Fu Xuan’s eyes turned gloomy. He said, “I know.”
Jiang Yishao suddenly sat up, thinking of something. He said, “Go now and send A-Yuan to the study. I want to go and see that Omega. His name is Xia Xia, right? I want to see what kind of Omega has managed to snatch away our precious grandson.”
Fu Xuan was reluctant: “I don’t have anything to say to him right now.”
Jiang Yishao gave him a light glance.
Fu Xuan quickly got up: “I’ll go now.”
Ji Xia had eaten too much for dinner, so Fu Yuan took him for a walk in the courtyard.
The old residence was very large, and Fu Yuan had a private courtyard here. Entering through the moon gate, you could see a rock garden and a pond. Another gate led directly to a peach orchard.
Peach blossoms were out of season, and the peach trees were laden with green, unripe peaches.
Ji Xia looked at the still-growing peaches, his eyes sparkling, and said, “Mr. Fu, the peaches will be ripe in a few months.”
Fu Yuan followed behind him and gave a low “Mm.”
Ji Xia looked at one small peach, then another, as delighted as a farmer. He asked, “Mr. Fu, when so many peaches ripen, do you sell them?”
Fu Yuan stopped, his gaze fixed on the peaches, yet it seemed as though he was looking past them at something else.
He said, “No.”
Whether it was his imagination or not, Ji Xia felt that Mr. Fu seemed unhappy ever since they entered the peach orchard.
He was about to ask directly when the housekeeper, wearing a grey robe, scurried in and said that the Old Master had invited Fu Yuan over for a talk.
Fu Yuan gave Ji Xia a few instructions, telling him not to run around, and then followed the housekeeper away.
Ji Xia wandered alone in the peach orchard, examining the small peaches again, looking for the one that was growing the biggest.
A sudden sound of footsteps broke the quiet of the peach grove. Ji Xia subconsciously turned his head and saw Fu Su and a good-looking Alpha walking towards him.
Ji Xia had seen this Alpha at the dinner table; his gaze was very sticky, constantly lingering on him.
Fu Su changed his usual attitude, nodding slightly towards Ji Xia and revealing a benevolent, faint smile, the disdain in his eyes well-hidden.
He said, “What a coincidence, you’ve come to look at the peaches too. We’ve met so many times, but I haven’t introduced myself yet. My name is Fu Su, you can call me Su Su. This is Fu Fengyu, my cousin.”
Since the last banquet where Fu Su had thrown dirt at him, Ji Xia’s impression of Fu Su had worsened, and now knowing his father was the mastermind behind poisoning Mr. Fu, he disliked him even more.
Ji Xia ignored Fu Su’s sudden attempt at friendship. He remained silent, turned around, and quickened his pace, intending to bypass them and return to Mr. Fu’s courtyard. Unexpectedly, Fu Fengyu was faster than him and dashed forward, blocking his path.
Fu Fengyu’s pair of flirtatious, peach-blossom eyes were vulgarly amorous, and his voice was very low, with a somewhat breathy quality.
He said, “Don’t be afraid. We won’t hurt you. Su Su told me that you were actually sold by your biological parents and were forced to stay with Fu Yuan to help treat his pheromone allergy. For fifty thousand, I can redeem you. I can’t stand this kind of forced possessiveness, Xia Xia, please let me help you, okay?”
Ji Xia frowned slightly, took two steps back, dodging the pheromones the Alpha was releasing. He refused in a firm tone, “No need. Please leave. Mr. Fu will be back soon.”
At the mention of Fu Yuan, Fu Fengyu hesitated, obviously stalling, and did not immediately follow. But his eyes on the Omega became even stickier.
Fu Su cursed “worthless” in his heart.
He walked closer to Ji Xia, enduring the unpleasant smell of camphor ball pheromones, and said sincerely, “Xia Xia, don’t be afraid. My cousin is a very good person. He often rescues small animals and always intervenes in injustices. As long as you ask, he will definitely rescue you from Fu Yuan’s clutches.”
Ji Xia felt very uncomfortable being stimulated by the Alpha’s pheromones and took a few more steps back.
He emphasized again, “Please step aside. I don’t need your help. I’m helping Mr. Fu with the treatment voluntarily.”
Fu Su’s face turned cold, and he gave the Alpha a look.
Fu Fengyu swallowed hard, steeled himself, and rushed forward to hug Ji Xia.
As a member of the Fu family, Fu Fengyu certainly knew how terrifying Fu Yuan was, especially after what happened at the dinner table. To touch this Omega again was asking for death.
But he couldn’t help himself. He couldn’t control himself.
The moment this Omega stepped into the main hall, when he raised his eyes and saw him, he was mesmerized.
The splendid flowers on the white clothing bloomed all the way into his heart. Such a beautiful and clean person, yet emanating a perfectly enticing desire, made him unable to resist.
So, when Fu Su came to talk to him about the Omega, he believed it regardless of whether it was true or false, and came, risking being thrown into the sea to feed the sharks.
To die beneath the peony is to be a romantic ghost.
The moment he saw the beautiful Omega again, lust clouded his mind. He felt that if he could just have him, even if he were to be retaliated against afterward, it would be worth it.
He would be the one who profited.
Fu Fengyu wildly tried to kiss Ji Xia’s face, murmuring, “Baby, what do you think Fu Yuan will think if he sees us like this? You won’t be able to explain it. Don’t struggle, just let Brother Fengyu enjoy himself, and the matter will be over. I promise Fu Yuan won’t know. You and I will both be safe…”
Ji Xia had not expected this person to be so brazen as to use force right there in the courtyard, and to say such shameless things.
He struggled desperately, but how could an Omega break free from an Alpha’s restraint? Ji Xia was enraged. He lunged forward and bit down hard on the Alpha’s ear.
Fu Fengyu hadn’t expected the seemingly gentle Omega to have such a fierce side, and he grimaced in pain. By the time he finally managed to pull the Omega off, he touched his ear and his hand was covered in bl00d.
The smell of bl00d made the Alpha’s eyes darken. The stark contrast between his appearance and his stubborn resistance brought on a greater sense of excitement. “Baby, you are truly delicious!”
Ji Xia wiped the bl00d from the corner of his mouth, his eyes fierce.
But how fierce could a little rabbit be? The adorable fierceness only made people want to abuse him more.
Fu Fengyu couldn’t wait any longer and was about to lunge again.
Just then, his collar was suddenly grabbed from behind, immediately followed by a powerful kick to his lower back. The force sent him stumbling forward with a cry, and he landed face-first, eating dirt.
“Which bastard dared to kick me, you fing sick piece of s!”
Fu Fengyu was just an idle wastrel who relied on the Fu family’s support to get into trouble and act recklessly. Kicked suddenly, the first words out of his mouth were a string of foul curses.
When he climbed up, clutching his waist, he angrily turned around, wanting to see which son of a b1tch had launched a sneak attack. But when a flash of red entered his vision, his anger turned into terror.
His face instantly went pale, and his voice trembled like a sieve as he fearfully backed away a few steps. “Little… Little Grandfather.”
Jiang Yishao was thoroughly annoyed by these wastrels raised by the side branches, full of flaws and utterly repulsive.
He glanced at him with cold, imposing phoenix eyes and commanded coldly, “Now, scram!”
Fu Fengyu knew that he couldn’t get out of this easily. He wanted to explain that he had been instigated, and frantically looked around, but Fu Su was nowhere to be seen.
He gritted his teeth. Only now did he realize he had been used as a pawn, but the deed was done. He could only cover his ear and run away dejectedly to find Fu Su and settle the score.
Jiang Yishao turned his attention to Ji Xia.
Ji Xia’s body trembled under the gaze of those sharp, knife-like eyes, but he still sincerely said, “Thank you.”
