- After Clinging to a Big Shot, the Pitiful Omega Got Pregnant
- Chapter 45 - New Agreement
Ji Xia was carried upstairs. After Fu Yuan thoroughly checked and confirmed everything was fine, he allowed Ji Xia to move about freely.
Ji Xia hadn’t set up his stall for two weeks, and many old customers were asking about him. He announced in the customer group that he would be setting up shop tomorrow, and then prepared to go downstairs to check if the ingredients were sufficient.
As soon as he stepped out, he was picked up by the Alpha and carried back.
Ji Xia looked at Mr. Fu with a confused expression.
Fu Yuan looked down at him, and after a moment, spoke, “Xia Xia, we need to talk about your stall business.”
“Ah?”
Ji Xia’s big eyes were full of doubt. “What about my stall business?”
Fu Yuan carried him to the sofa and sat him down, saying, “It’s too dangerous.”
Ji Xia recalled the incident of being kidnapped, and it was true he was scared. But he was afraid Mr. Fu would forbid him from setting up his stall, so he immediately promised, “Mr. Fu, next time, no matter who faints, I won’t get involved. There won’t be any danger again.”
Fu Yuan’s tone was cold. “Accidents are unavoidable.”
Ji Xia became anxious, his speech a little stuttered. “I… I will avoid ac-accidents.”
Fu Yuan stated decisively, “You can’t avoid them.”
Ji Xia’s eyes were a little red, but he didn’t know what else he could say to persuade Mr. Fu, so he twisted his fingers and lowered his head.
If he couldn’t set up his stall, he would have no income. When Mr. Fu no longer needed him, he would have to live under a bridge, or maybe, with luck, find a job.
Fu Yuan looked at the Omega’s lost expression, felt the time was right, and spoke, “Therefore, from now on, you must send me a message at all times about what you do and where you go every day. If you go out outside of your fixed schedule, you must report it to me in advance. Only with my permission can you go. Xia Xia, only then can I be at ease.”
Ji Xia looked up, his eyes sparkling. “Mr. Fu, can I still go set up my stall?”
Fu Yuan said, “If you agree to my demands, you can. But, Xia Xia, you must adhere to my demands, otherwise…”
The Alpha didn’t finish, but Ji Xia knew what the rest of the sentence meant. He immediately guaranteed, “I will definitely send Mr. Fu a message every day to report my itinerary, absolutely.”
Fu Yuan asked, “Xia Xia, am I being too much?”
Ji Xia had been neglected since childhood, unloved by both father and mother.
No one cared about him, and no one would ever care what he did or where he went today. He had always lived alone and lonely.
Mr. Fu’s demands made him feel a sense of care that he had never experienced before.
He shook his head and said, “No, Mr. Fu is worried about me. I understand.”
Besides, being able to send Mr. Fu a message anytime and anywhere was wonderful. The little person in Ji Xia’s heart was spinning wildly.
Fu Yuan: “I’m very happy that you can understand. Go ahead.”
Ji Xia stood up and walked towards the door.
Fu Yuan cleared his throat softly.
Ji Xia then remembered something, ran back quickly, kissed Mr. Fu on the lips, and then ran off again. This was Mr. Fu’s demand before they got off the plane: morning, evening, and when separating, he had to give a proactive kiss.
After the Omega left the bedroom, Fu Yuan did not immediately go to the study to work. He dialed his assistant’s number.
“Book a physical examination for me at the hospital tomorrow. Also, look for a suitable storefront nearby to open a bakery, it should be close and doesn’t need to be too big. Also, send me information on professional Omega bodyguards.”
Ji Xia woke up early the next day to bake bread. Many old customers had already reserved their orders in the group, which filled him with motivation. After lunch, he rode his small electric scooter to set up his stall.
Perhaps because he hadn’t been out for so long, there were significantly more customers today than usual.
By just past seven in the evening, all of Ji Xia’s bread and small cakes were sold out.
Ji Xia stood up from his small stool, stretched with a big yawn, feeling super happy, and took out his phone to send Mr. Fu another message to report his situation.
Mr. Fu’s reply was no longer the automatic transfer receipt message; when he wasn’t busy with work, he would chat with him for a few words.
The phone vibrated, and Fu Yuan’s reply popped up. “Be careful on your way home, ride slowly.”
Ji Xia smiled foolishly at Mr. Fu’s reply, his heart warm, and wickedly wished that Mr. Fu’s pheromone disorder would take a little longer to heal.
That way, he could stay by Mr. Fu’s side for a longer period.
But reality and ideals often had an irreconcilable conflict. The more you hoped for something, the opposite was often what came.
Just as Ji Xia finished replying to Fu Yuan’s message, a call from Dr. Chen popped up on the screen.
He answered the voice call, his voice cheerful as he called out, “Dr. Chen.”
Dr. Chen Xi on the other end of the line was even more excited than him.
“Xia Xia! You’re amazing! Mr. Fu came for a check-up today, and his pheromone disorder has completely healed. A 100% pheromone match really is different! Just one rut period cured this persistent condition.”
Ji Xia’s smile froze, as if a bucket of cold water had been dumped over him, and his body instantly turned cold to the bone.
“Xia Xia? Are you listening? Why aren’t you saying anything?”
Tears welled up in Ji Xia’s eyes. He tried hard to suppress the surging emotions, pretending to be very happy, and said, “That’s really wonderful.”
Chen Xi, still in his white coat, leaned back in his office chair, idly playing with a lighter in his hand. Hearing Ji Xia’s voice, he immediately sensed something was wrong. After a moment of silence, he said, “Xia Xia, now that Mr. Fu’s pheromone disorder is healed, your contract is over.”
Ji Xia took a step back, leaning against the cold wall, and softly said, “Mm.”
Chen Xi asked, “What are your plans now?”
Ji Xia thought that he had already escaped the plot, and the scumbag Alphas were no longer pestering him. Since Mr. Fu no longer needed him, he had no reason to cling to Mr. Fu either.
A dull ache filled his chest. Ji Xia looked up at the dark night sky and said, “Just as planned, I’ll find a small seaside town and open a bakery.”
“Xia Xia.”
Chen Xi held the lighter in his palm and said, “How about considering me?”
“Ah?”
Ji Xia looked surprised.
Chen Xi said, “I like you very much. If Mr. Fu doesn’t need you anymore, how about being with me? With marriage as the goal.”
Ji Xia was stunned for a long time by Dr. Chen’s sudden confession, unsure how to respond.
After a long silence, he finally said, “I’m sorry, Dr. Chen, I still want to stick to my original plan.”
Chen Xi wasn’t surprised by the answer. He said, “Xia Xia, the future is bright, and I believe that once you see my sincerity, you will eventually accept me. You go open your bakery in that seaside town, and I’ll open a clinic right next to it. We’ll be seeing each other all the time. I’m quite confident in my own charm; you’ll definitely fall in love with me.”
Ji Xia didn’t know how to deal with this, and his voice was a little flustered as he said, “Dr. Chen, please don’t joke. I need to go home now. Goodbye.”
He hurriedly hung up the phone, assuming Dr. Chen was joking, packed his things, and rode his small electric scooter home.
After showering, Ji Xia sat on the sofa hugging a pillow, waiting for Mr. Fu to return.
He felt that tonight Mr. Fu would surely ask him to move back to the guest room or the attic, so he had already tidied up his belongings.
Around nine in the evening, the sound of tires rubbing against the ground came from downstairs. Ji Xia didn’t look, knowing Mr. Fu was back. When the sound of the car door closing reached him, his heart pounded violently.
Soon, footsteps were heard, approaching the master bedroom.
Ji Xia suddenly recalled the first time he entered this bedroom; he had listened to the footsteps like this too, panicking intensely. However, back then, his heart held only fear, while now, his fear was mixed with sadness.
He wouldn’t be able to see Mr. Fu anymore after tonight.
Ji Xia raised his eyes. The tall, handsome Alpha was dressed in a crisp suit, and the look in his eyes carried the arrogance of someone long in a position of power. He raised an eyebrow slightly and spread his arms toward Ji Xia.
Ji Xia didn’t even put on his slippers, rushing over like a small cannonball and crashing into Mr. Fu’s arms.
Fu Yuan supported the little thing’s hips and picked him up.
Ji Xia tightly wrapped his arms around the Alpha’s neck, burying his face in his neck and rubbing gently.
“What’s wrong?”
Fu Yuan kissed the crown of the Omega’s head and asked.
Ji Xia’s voice was muffled as he said, “Mr. Fu, Dr. Chen told me that your pheromone disorder is cured.”
Fu Yuan softly said, “Mm.”
Ji Xia said somewhat sadly, “Mr. Fu, our contract is over. Do you not need me anymore?”
Fu Yuan carried him to the bed, immediately pressing down on the Omega, and rubbed his nose against Ji Xia’s nose, saying, “You’re unhappy because of this?”
Ji Xia shook his head. “I’m not unhappy.”
Fu Yuan bit his lip and said, “Did you forget what you promised me, not to lie to me?”
Ji Xia mumbled, “I’m truly not unhappy, it’s just… just a little sad.”
Fu Yuan: “Sad about what?”
Ji Xia: “I might not be able to see Mr. Fu anymore.”
Fu Yuan’s eyes darkened a little, his expression slightly cold, and he said, “What did Chen Xi say to you?”
Ji Xia’s eyes darted around, evading the gaze. “N-nothing, he didn’t say anything.”
Fu Yuan this time used a little force, biting Ji Xia’s lip until it hurt. “Hmm?”
Ji Xia recounted everything Dr. Chen had said to him. “Dr. Chen must be joking. He’s a PhD, how could he like me?”
The “killing intent” in Fu Yuan’s eyes flashed and disappeared, but he didn’t continue on that topic. Instead, he said, “Our agreement is indeed over. But after our time together, I think we are very compatible in bed. I can sign another agreement with you.”
Ji Xia’s eyes brightened slightly.
Fu Yuan asked, “Xia Xia, what kind of agreement do you want to sign with me?”
Ji Xia looked at the Alpha without speaking.
Fu Yuan kissed his forehead, encouraging him, “As long as it doesn’t cross my bottom line, I can sign anything with you.”
Ji Xia asked in a very low voice, “Mr. Fu, after I, that is, after I pay back the money for my ‘redemption’. Can I, that is, I want, I want…”
He spoke haltingly, and the Alpha didn’t interrupt him, waiting patiently for him to finish.
“I want to date you. Of course, my meaning is, is, can I pursue you?”
Fu Yuan’s lips, which usually had little curve, quirked into a slight smile. He said, “You can pursue me right now.”
Ji Xia shook his head, his small face serious. “Not now.”
Fu Yuan asked, “Why?”
Ji Xia said, “I was bought by you, so I am your possession now. I need to pay the money back to you before I can pursue you.”
Fu Yuan was amused by the Omega’s words.
His voice held a hint of a laugh as he said, “Alright. Then when you pay back the money, you can pursue me.”
Ji Xia happily hugged the Alpha’s waist and said, “Thank you, Mr. Fu.”
Fu Yuan gently pressed his lips against Ji Xia’s, saying, “Until you pay back the money, you are mine.”
The scorching kiss fell, making Ji Xia’s spine tremble slightly. He was so happy tonight, and he responded to the Alpha with passion and initiative, which led to the Alpha’s insatiable demands, keeping him engaged until daybreak.
Ji Xia struggled to get up; he still had to set up his stall today. But he gradually lost consciousness in the Alpha’s kiss.
After coaxing him to sleep, Fu Yuan washed up, feeling refreshed, and went out. He had a whole list of things to deal with today!
