After Confessing To My Childhood Friend - Chapter 36
Chapter 36: First Snow 🌨️
◎ You Wanted to See Me in a Swimsuit? ◎
At the mountain villa, only the indoor rooms are heated, so despite her fiery temperament, Chen Mengyin wears a turtleneck sweater outside. Concerned, Xie Zhirou throws her own sweater to Chen Mengyin and tells her to change.
Taking off the turtleneck, Chen Mengyin is left in a simple white T-shirt. The lighting reveals a faint blush along her neck and clavicle, where she has hidden matching couple rings—now worn as necklaces—under her clothes. Xie Zhirou notices the rings and softly asks if she’s really ready to go soak. Encouraged by Chen Mengyin’s tipsy boldness, she agrees.
Xie Zhirou gently lifts and removes the T-shirt, letting it drop to the floor as she helps undress. Chen Mengyin, a little drunk, wobbles and leans against her, arms wrapped around Zhirou’s neck, as Xie Zhirou helps her into her sporty white undershirt.
Blushing in embarrassment, Chen Mengyin apologizes for being clumsy. Xie Zhirou reassures her lovingly, saying it’s no trouble and advising her to change into her swimsuit to avoid catching a cold.
Drunk but shyly bold, Chen Mengyin admits she regretted not seeing Zhirou in her swimwear earlier—fearful of seeming like a little pervert. Xie Zhirou gently brushes her away, calls it natural, and offers to assist her in the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom, Chen Mengyin quietly waits, and Zhirou begins helping her undress and change. Zhirou then teases her playfully, uncovering her in a lace-trimmed bikini, commanding her attention. The sight—mixed of sleepiness and desire—leaves Chen Mengyin breathless and flushed. She gulps water to cool a racing heart.
Wrapped together in a robe, they step into the steam-filled hot spring courtyard. Mengyin realizes she forgot egg custard and shaved ice snacks, but Zhirou lovingly says they can get them tomorrow.
As night falls, the sky darkens, veiled by clouds. Mengyin, mostly sobered, remarks regretfully, “Nothing but darkness—no moon tonight.” Zhirou nestles close.
Suddenly, in the steam, Zhirou turns to Mengyin. With gentle sincerity, Mengyin asks, “May I kiss you?” Zhirou responds with a sweet whisper: “Anytime.”
Their kiss is tender but passionate—tongues intertwine, breath mingles. Mengyin traces kisses down Zhirou’s neck, leaving gentle marks. Zhirou responds with light moans, her fingers tangling in Mengyin’s hair, revealing mutual desire.
Each touch quickens their heartbeat. Flushed, they remain entwined beneath the night sky. Suddenly, icy snowflakes drift down into the misty steam, dissolving before they can fully land—but a few cling to their hair.
Mengyin lifts a hand, trying to catch one, but it vanishes in the warmth. There’s awe in her voice: “It’s snowing.”
On Christmas night, Yonghuai experiences its first silent snowfall of the season—soft snowflakes drifting into the warm embrace of their hot spring haven.
