After Going on a Blind Date With My Omega Love Rival (ABO, GL) - Chapter 74
Chapter 74
When the two woke up, it was already past one in the afternoon. Yu Heyi woke first, and the moment she opened her eyes, she was face-to-face with Chi Ruixi, so close that Yu Heyi realized she was clinging to Chi Ruixi like an octopus.
Chi Ruixi, on the other hand, was sleeping quite properly.
But her arm, pinned under Chi Ruixi, was numb. Yu Heyi tried to pull it out, but as soon as she moved, Chi Ruixi opened her eyes, looking sleepy and unwilling to wake up. She mumbled, “I’m so tired… don’t move around.” Then she turned over and went back to sleep…
More than half an hour later, Yu Heyi’s arm was so numb it felt lifeless. Chi Ruixi woke up.
Yu Heyi pulled her arm out, rubbing it.
Chi Ruixi sat up, rubbed her eyes, and asked in a hoarse voice, “What time is it? When did you wake up?”
Then she checked the time and said, “Why didn’t you wake me?”
“…Teacher Chi, I only woke up half an hour ago.” After speaking, she kept rubbing her arm.
Chi Ruixi noticed her movement and blushed, thinking Yu Heyi was tired.
She remembered last night’s moments vividly, so now, as she rubbed Yu Heyi’s shoulders, she was too shy to speak. Yu Heyi, puzzled, wondered why rubbing her shoulders made Chi Ruixi blush.
Yu Heyi poked Chi Ruixi’s cheek and said, “It’s just numb from you lying on it. Why are you blushing?”
“Numb?”
“Yeah, probably from you pressing on it all night. It was numb when I woke up.” After saying this, Yu Heyi poked Chi Ruixi’s cheek again.
Soft and fun to poke.
But Chi Ruixi wasn’t pleased. She pushed Yu Heyi’s hand away and said, “Take your hand… off. Stop poking me.”
“Why?”
“It hurts a bit…”
“Then how about this?” Yu Heyi kissed her cheek, soft and tender like tofu, and sucked hard.
When she pulled away, she left a big patch of saliva. Chi Ruixi frowned, wiping it off in disgust, but Yu Heyi, unhappy, kissed her again.
Chi Ruixi kept wiping.
Yu Heyi kept kissing.
They went back and forth for a while until Chi Ruixi couldn’t take it anymore and snapped, “Enough! My face is going to turn red.”
“Last night, you didn’t say that. You said not enough!!!”
“I…” Damn it, she really did say that.
Yu Heyi wasn’t lying; she had said those words.
“Alright, I’ll stop teasing you. My uncle sent me a WeChat message saying we should drive to the campsite this afternoon.”
“Campsite? Weren’t they hiking?”
“They’re probably hiking now, but by the time we get there, they’ll likely be at the campsite.”
After speaking, Yu Heyi stood up to shower, but as she did, Chi Ruixi’s expression grew unnatural. She lifted the blanket to look at herself.
It wasn’t just Yu Heyi who wasn’t wearing clothes—she wasn’t either.
“Hurry up and shower…”
Yu Heyi, holding her clothes, paused and looked at her with amusement. “Why are you suddenly shy? I was already going to shower.”
Chi Ruixi didn’t look at her, just mumbled a couple of agreements and urged her to hurry.
Yu Heyi showered quickly and came out soon after. Chi Ruixi, however, took much longer—about half an hour. When she came out, Yu Heyi was on her phone, seemingly chatting.
Chi Ruixi’s expression was cold because, while showering, she noticed the red marks on her neck, all thanks to the person in front of her.
And she was still playing on her phone!!!
As Chi Ruixi passed behind Yu Heyi, she casually asked, “Who are you chatting with?”
From her tone, Yu Heyi sensed a bit of curiosity and… a hint of irritation. She didn’t hide it. “Chatting with my mom. Talking about us. She might come back for the Mid-Autumn Festival.”
Hearing this, Chi Ruixi froze, biting her lip, looking nervous.
“What? Ugly daughter-in-law scared of meeting the in-laws?” Yu Heyi teased with a smile.
Chi Ruixi nodded, then shook her head.
“What does that mean?” Yu Heyi was confused by her reaction.
“It’s just… my mother’s side might…”
“Might what? Tell you to leave me?”
Yu Heyi hit the nail on the head, and Chi Ruixi didn’t know what to say, clutching the towel silently.
Having heard from Chi Ying about Chi Ruixi’s childhood, Yu Heyi vaguely guessed that Chi Ruixi’s mother wouldn’t easily accept their relationship.
“Would you leave me?”
Hearing her words, Chi Ruixi’s heart raced. She dropped the towel, grabbed Yu Heyi’s hand, and said firmly, “I won’t leave you.”
Yu Heyi smiled but didn’t respond.
Chi Ruixi grew more anxious. “No reason would make me. It took so long for you to like me…”
As she finished, she noticed Yu Heyi’s gaze lingering on her neck.
She gave her a playful glare. “What are you looking at? I’m being serious!”
Yu Heyi reached out, lifted her chin, and said, “I know you’re serious. I like you, so I definitely won’t let you leave me.”
Unable to resist, she lightly kissed Chi Ruixi’s lips.
Chi Ruixi let out a soft hum, moved her lips, and stood still, letting her kiss.
When Yu Heyi had her fill, Chi Ruixi, eyes red, pushed her away.
“Let’s go already.”
Unable to stand Yu Heyi’s clingy behavior, Chi Ruixi grabbed her clothes to change, but Yu Heyi came over again, hands behind her back, seemingly holding something.
Then Chi Ruixi’s eyes were covered…
When she took it off, she saw another set of matching couple outfits.
“How many sets did you buy?”
“Three!” Yu Heyi held up three fingers, then added, “One for each day.”
Chi Ruixi’s mouth twitched. She really thought Yu Heyi was so childish…
“Teacher Chi, the marks on your neck should be partly covered by this polo shirt.”
In the end, Chi Ruixi gave in.
She took the couple outfit and changed in front of Yu Heyi, who wouldn’t let her hide. Shamelessly, Yu Heyi said, “Last night, Teacher Chi was bold and let me look. What’s there to be shy about now?”
…So shameless.
When Yu Heyi woke up, she saw Du Sheng’s WeChat message. He hadn’t gone hiking and left the car he lent her yesterday. Yu Heyi asked if he’d left, and he said he was still in his room.
She didn’t ask more after that.
As soon as she and Chi Ruixi got in the car, they smelled the lingering pheromones. Yu Heyi told Chi Ruixi to stay back a bit since, during her heat cycle, Chi Ruixi was sensitive to such stimulation. Her own pheromones were fine, but their combined scents might trigger another heat cycle.
Once the car’s scent aired out, Chi Ruixi got in.
Though Chi Ruixi was still in her heat cycle, she felt fine with Yu Heyi nearby, and last night’s deep mark helped.
As long as she stayed with Yu Heyi, the next couple of days wouldn’t be a problem.
Otherwise, why go camping? Yu Heyi would’ve taken Chi Ruixi straight back to Xijing City.
This time, Yu Heyi was considerate. The couple outfits weren’t too obvious—just simple polo shirts, one blue, one pink, without extra patterns.
So when they joined the group, Chi Ruixi wasn’t shy and walked over confidently.
They drove straight to the mountaintop, while the others had climbed up, exhausted and sweaty.
The two of them, however, looked fresh.
Chi Ying saw them get out and ran over, asking, “Aunt, Uncle, got any cold drinks?”
Yu Heyi actually did, bought at the base of the mountain. She handed Chi Ying a bottle, but instead of drinking it, Chi Ying ran back and gave it to Zhan Yuan.
Seeing Chi Ying’s attentiveness, Yu Heyi gossiped to Chi Ruixi, “Look at Chi Ying, already knowing how to take care of her wife at such a young age.”
Chi Ruixi rolled her eyes, didn’t say anything, and walked off.
Yu Heyi shamelessly followed. “Wait for me!”
The mountaintop was a dedicated camping estate, fully equipped. The two started walking together, but halfway, Teacher Cheng pulled Chi Ruixi aside to prepare barbecue ingredients for the evening.
Yu Heyi wanted to join, but seeing mostly Omega teachers and some female Betas, she didn’t approach. Instead, she went to help set up tents.
The staff demonstrated a few, then let them set up on their own. Mostly Alphas were working, with students helping in groups.
But Yu Heyi didn’t see Chi Ying. Looking farther, she saw her with Zhan Yuan, who seemed unwell.
She didn’t think much of it and kept helping with the tents.
After setting up one after another, Yu Heyi turned and saw Teacher Zheng.
Teacher Zheng was different now, not like before, nor like in front of Du Sheng.
She seemed to ignore Yu Heyi, without her usual arrogance or the meekness she showed Du Sheng.
It was awkward. Anyone could tell she was putting on a front for the other teachers.
And her gaze wasn’t honest, always drifting toward the Omega teachers.
Yu Heyi had wanted to give her some face, but she was so shameless.
“Teacher Zheng?”
Teacher Zheng had already noticed her, and Yu Heyi was right—she was putting on a front, not wanting to seem weak in front of Yu Heyi.
Hearing Yu Heyi call her, she asked casually, “What’s up?”
Yu Heyi’s face darkened, her expression far from the gentleness she showed Chi Ruixi. Staring at her coldly, she sneered and said, “Teacher Zheng, are you always this shameless?”
“What?” Teacher Zheng hadn’t expected her to speak like that. After learning Yu Heyi’s identity a couple of days ago, she thought the matter was over since Yu Heyi hadn’t said much.
She definitely didn’t dare covet Chi Ruixi anymore, but couldn’t help sneaking glances. She thought it was no big deal… but…
Yu Heyi patted her shoulder twice, then gripped it tightly. Teacher Zheng winced in pain. “Ouch… what are you doing… let go.”
Teacher Zheng’s face twisted in pain, nothing like her usual demeanor.
Yu Heyi said unceremoniously, “You’d better not let me catch you sneaking looks at Chi Ruixi again. She’s my Omega, got it? I didn’t want to embarrass you in front of Chi Ruixi or my uncle before.”
Teacher Zheng held her shoulder, looking humiliated but silent.
