After Rebirth, the Cold and Aloof Film Queen Always Wants to Cuddle with Me - Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Ye Ruihuan’s expression was warm and gentle, like a spring breeze blowing, melting the snow on the mountains and taking away the last trace of her usual chill. She looked soft and radiant, and her lips, still moist with red wine, had become irresistibly alluring.
“I’m not drunk… don’t laugh…” Lin Ruijiao tried hard to open her big, round eyes, which were hazy and unfocused, sparkling with moisture. A blush spread across her face, and even her delicate lips glowed with a rosy tint.
There was an unintentional tenderness in Ye Ruihuan’s gaze as she looked at her. “Alright, alright…” Even her tone sounded indulgent.
“I’m going back.” Lin Ruijiao stood up again, clearly drunk, stubbornly moving forward.
Ye Ruihuan couldn’t stop her, so she stood and followed, steadying her. This little bunny really had a low tolerance—just one glass and she was already drunk.
But she was very happy to see her like this. She was just too cute, much cuter than when sober.
Lin Ruijiao swayed with each step, holding onto Ye Ruihuan, who also staggered slightly. Drunk like this, she was truly unruly. After some time, they finally reached Lin Ruijiao’s room.
“I’m going to take a shower…” Lin Ruijiao pushed Ye Ruihuan away and grabbed her pajamas, walking unsteadily toward the bathroom.
Seeing her like this, Ye Ruihuan was relieved but had no intention of leaving. She silently stayed by her side, escorting her into the bathroom.
“Go away…” Lin Ruijiao pushed her lightly, without any strength. She looked soft and floating, and her slurred words sounded like she was teasing Ye Ruihuan.
“Okay.” Ye Ruihuan swallowed and kept her gaze locked on her the entire time.
Watching Lin Ruijiao prepare everything slowly but skillfully, Ye Ruihuan stepped back two paces. Then the door was closed from the inside.
Ye Ruihuan could only sit quietly by the bed, listening to the shower’s splashing water—it sounded like a beautiful, enchanting dance. She lay back on the bed, closing her eyes in contentment. At that moment, she even imagined the scene in the bathroom—the mist thick and swirling, the little bunny’s graceful figure hidden in the haze, her smooth skin covered in droplets, irresistibly seductive. Her flushed cheeks, reddened by steam, looked exactly like a juicy, sweet peach, begging to be bitten.
Ye Ruihuan swallowed hard, her cheeks reddening further. She might be drunk too.
Finally, the trickling water stopped. There was some rustling from inside—the little bunny was about to come out. Ye Ruihuan got up reluctantly.
Lin Ruijiao staggered out, enveloped in warm, wet steam filled with a rich, fresh fragrance.
Ye Ruihuan hurried over to support her, fearing she might fall.
“Don’t touch me…” Lin Ruijiao’s face was dreamy but she consciously pushed Ye Ruihuan away.
Her movements were light and soft, completely lacking strength, and Ye Ruihuan stood firmly beside her, feeling the warm, soft sensation radiating from her abdomen.
Though so close, they took several minutes to walk. Lin Ruijiao swayed left and right, wearing a thin lace camisole nightdress that revealed much of her skin in front. A strong, pleasant fragrance lingered around Ye Ruihuan’s nose. She forced herself not to look, swallowing involuntarily in the moments her gaze lowered.
The sight was too dazzling; Ye Ruihuan was afraid she might not be able to resist and pounce. She darkened her eyes, the suppressed fire in them seeming to burn fiercely. Reluctantly, Ye Ruihuan let go of her arm.
Then Lin Ruijiao collapsed onto the bed, stretching out fully, occupying the entire space. Her small face buried in the blanket.
Ye Ruihuan’s smiling mouth curved wider. She couldn’t help laughing—this little bunny sleeping was just too… adorable.
Then she licked her lips, flipped Lin Ruijiao over, tucked the blanket around her, leaving a flushed face exposed—smooth and radiant, like a juicy, shiny red apple, utterly tempting.
Her eyes grew deep and mysterious. She couldn’t resist leaning down to place a kiss on Lin Ruijiao’s moist, rosy lips.
Soft, sweet—she lightly bit it.
Lin Ruijiao seemed to sense something, raising her hand to touch her own face.
Ye Ruihuan quickly dodged and smiled brightly at the drunk Lin Ruijiao lying on the bed.
After a moment, as if deciding something, she lay down beside her, deeply inhaling Lin Ruijiao’s scent, wanting to take the whole person inside her. She nuzzled twice at her neck, the smooth skin sparking mischievous thoughts. Vivid, passionate images flashed in her mind—such a cute, obedient Jiao Jiao was rare indeed.
Then she pressed close again, softly caressing her wet lips, savoring the moment’s softness. Finally, she pried open Lin Ruijiao’s lips, slipped in her tongue, and drank in the sweet breath.
Mumbling nonsense, a dazed Lin Ruijiao pushed her away, then flipped over to face away.
Ye Ruihuan licked her lips, eyes shimmering. The once cold, proud, aloof Ye Ruihuan seemed transformed—now glamorous and seductive, with moist, full lips stained a rose-red as if with lipstick, her face full of satisfaction.
She composed herself and placed a kiss on Lin Ruijiao’s ear tip, then turned and left, a flash of reluctance and affection in her eyes.
As she came out, she ran into Lin Ruijiao’s assistant.
“No need to go in, she’s asleep.” Her voice was hoarse, probably from silence.
“Alright, Madam Ye.” Jing Jing had been watching their interactions closely. Lin Jie was drunk, and Madam Ye was taking care of her. Jing Jing wondered how Lin Jie would react when sober. She sighed lightly as she followed away.
It seemed Lin Jie didn’t like Madam Ye very much.
That night, Ye Ruihuan fell asleep accompanied by that sweet kiss. Since coming to the Yuwan villa, her sleep had greatly improved. Whenever she saw Lin Ruijiao, she no longer had those strange, chaotic dreams. But the dreams still replayed the same scenes, which she remembered clearly.
However, the Lin Ruijiao in her dreams was completely different from reality—there she was proactive, cute, and innocent, with eyes only for Ye Ruihuan, as if Ye Ruihuan was her entire world. But in reality, Lin Ruijiao avoided her like the plague, barely bothering to acknowledge her.
Ye Ruihuan was troubled. She liked this Lin Ruijiao, no matter which version. She thought Lin Ruijiao was beautiful and charming. The dream version of herself seemed to like Lin Ruijiao very much too. She really liked her.
But the dream fragments were disconnected and incomplete, lacking enough information to piece together what really happened.
She vaguely felt these might be Lin Ruijiao’s and her own past lives or perhaps parallel worlds. Otherwise, she couldn’t explain how so many details matched reality.
One thing she was certain of: she had fallen deeply in love with Lin Ruijiao—very deeply.
