After Retirement, Living a Stud Life in Another World - 9
Chapter 9: The Unbearable Baptism
“Sigh… Lutz, you must have done this before, right? With your handsome looks, the young ladies must not have left you alone.”
“No, truly, today is my first time.”
“…You might be a genius.”
Rising from the bed in the separate room within the “Association,” I engage in a casual conversation with the lady who is my first partner.
It’s not like I’m exceptionally skilled. I just got a little carried away because the lady had such a beautiful body, and without thinking, I used techniques that were commonplace in the perverted country of Japan. Since “mating” in this world involves only the essential aspects, my actions were considered unusual. Nevertheless, for some reason, today’s experience was much better than what I had in my original world. Let me emphasize once more: yeah, it was quite good.
Today marks the first day of the “baptism.” For the next eight days, I’ll be confined in this separate room, engaging in “mating” with a different partner each day.
I have no say in choosing my partner. The “Bloodline Association” rigorously selects the most suitable woman to analyze my abilities. Mainly from lower-ranking nobles, knights, and influential bureaucratic families, they choose one woman with each of the eight basic magic attributes: fire, water, wood, metal, earth, wind, light, and darkness.
I initially thought that within the upper echelons of female society, there would be no one willing to volunteer for such an experimental role. Surprisingly, there seems to be no shortage of volunteers. While lower-ranking nobles might not have the financial means to pay the mating fees of top-ranked studs listed in the studbook, with the “baptism,” they can obtain the seed of high-ranking nobles for free before they are officially rated. Of course, there’s a risk of getting someone like Matheus, but in most cases, the higher the nobility, the higher the ability. Balancing the risk and benefit, undergoing the “baptism” like me, a son of a count, seems to be a very advantageous bonus event.
So, the first partner in front of me is Herminie-san, the second daughter of a baron. She has a round and small face, slightly droopy chestnut-colored eyes, and is the type of woman who warmly envelops you. She is exactly ten years older, at the age of twenty-three, and works in the Ministry of Agriculture, wielding earth magic as her weapon. She has one son, but she desperately wants a daughter, especially one with high magical ability. That’s why she applied.
“Having received such a blissful mating… I’m looking forward to nine months later.”
While slowly stroking her belly, she murmured something cute, and I couldn’t help but feel happy again. Her purpose is the “seed” of a good-blooded noble, but it seems she also took a liking to me. That’s a bit pleasing.
Sensing that, the older sister pointed it out,
“Oh? Youth is such a wonderful thing. Would you like to… go again?”
“Yes, please, I’d appreciate that.”
Yeah, the second time was also very good.

And so, for eight days, I shared meals and slept with a different woman each day, engaging in “child-making.” Alma-san, a viscount’s water magic user; Corona-san, an adventurer who gained fame as a fire magic user despite being a commoner; Daniela-san, a light attribute from a long line of priests… They were all wonderful. My body, returned to adolescence, seemed to have become what is commonly known as a “monkey who just learned something new,” and I put in a lot of effort.
And today is the final day.
If the “baptism” is this enjoyable, I wouldn’t mind doing it for several more days, but according to Siegfried, doing too many diminishes one’s value. After demonstrating potential in the “baptism,” the ideal path is to limit mating to well-blooded women, gradually increasing one’s value each year. So, as long as my partner permits, I’ll give it my all throughout the night.
“Ludwig-sama, please take care.”
The appearing lady surprisingly looks very young. She doesn’t seem to have reached the age of twenty yet. Describable as having the glossy feathers of a crow, her black hair and captivating black eyes stand out. With polite gestures, she bows her head to me with three fingers, just like… No, I wonder if such an old-fashioned custom still exists in Japan.
“Elder sister… No, Ayaka-san, don’t be so formal. Please call me Lutz.”
“Understood, Lutz-sama.”
It’s unusually stiff, but it can’t be helped. There are few candidates for the “dark” attribute, which is the most suitable among the eight attributes, and there are even fewer qualified ones. So, women with somewhat dubious bloodlines are accepted. Ayaka-san is from a family that moved from far to the east two generations ago, and she’s not a noble, of course. The family excels in dark magic and assassination techniques, handling the darker aspects of the kingdom. She happens to be the niece of the head of the clan.
“Alright, here I go.”
Saying that, I gently placed my palm on her back, intending to be comforting, but she reacted as if she had been shocked. As our lips met, a subtle tremor passed through her.
“Um, could it be…?”
“Yes, this is my first time forming a bond with a gentleman.”
This surprised me as well. The purpose of the “baptism” is primarily to measure the stud’s abilities, and usually, women who have already given birth to at least one child are chosen as partners.
“The number of dark attribute users has decreased even in our clan. The chief ordered me to ensure that power is left behind,” Ayaka-san said, determination reflected in her black eyes. Touched by her words, I gently held her still-trembling hand from both sides.
“It’s alright. I’ll be gentle.”
