After Retirement, Living a Stud Life in Another World - 52
Chapter 52: Today’s Seeding Life
It’s been six months since the uproar that began with the seeding for Susanna of the Altona Trading Company.
The dissolved Bergen Count’s territory seems to have finally settled down, thanks in part to Queen Elizabeth sending in numerous capable bureaucrats. Considering it was crucial not to show any weaknesses to the hypothetical enemy nation, the situation seems to have improved, at least for now.
I have returned to my usual dull school life. Since all the students in the political science department are girls, except for me, a middle-aged man, I thought I wouldn’t have much in common with them. However, they actively approach me, and I feel bewildered. Their goal, of course, is not to befriend me but to fulfill their family’s orders to obtain the “God’s Seed.”
While it might be enjoyable to play and chat with them, it’s not that simple. The loyal daughters, following Beatrice’s secret orders, have surrounded me, completely shutting out the advances of carnivorous daughters.
“Hey, Beatrice, isn’t it unnecessary to go this far?”
“It’s dangerous. If Lutz is approached seriously, he’ll definitely be swayed. If left alone, I can see a future with a hundred concubines.”
Although I lightly protested to Beatrice, I was easily dismissed. I really am not trustworthy… But indeed, if I were actively approached by girls, I might be swayed. In that sense, Beatrice probably understands me well.
“But men need it periodically to endure. I’ll allow you to seed the dark clan, so endure it with that.”
What Beatrice is saying is, well, you know.
Beatrice and Gretel are not yet married, so it would be inappropriate if a child were born. Ayaka also declined, as her pregnancy has become noticeable. And Susanna, who had firmly caught me like a monkey six months ago, is now gently stroking her belly every day. Therefore, the one chosen to satisfy me, whom Beatrice mockingly refers to as a monkey, is currently not present.
So, recently, I have been diligently visiting the four ladies and young ladies chosen by the dark clan, one after another, every night. Of course, Beatrice does not allow this for the purpose of satisfying me, the monkey. It is to firmly pledge loyalty to the useful dark clan for those in power.
After the incident with the Altona Trading Company, where they played a significant role in investigations, escorts, and even battles, Beatrice offered a large sum of money as a reward. However, Ayaka, who was entrusted with responding by the clan chief, unexpectedly gave an unusual answer.
“Your Highness Beatrice, we sincerely appreciate your generous offer. However, we do not seek monetary rewards… We desire something more, if you permit.”
“What is it? I can guess the general idea.”
“We would like Lutz-sama to bestow the ‘God’s Seed’ upon the women of our clan. May we have your permission?”
“… As expected, that’s it.”
In the end, Beatrice, who holds the right to my seeding, approved it. By granting the now treated as the ultimate weapon, the “God’s Seed,” she aimed to secure the loyalty of the clan, an incredibly convenient asset for those in power. Surely, a decade or so later when Beatrice becomes the queen, the dark clan, strengthened by the powerful wizards born from my seed, would become even more formidable, serving as her reliable right hand.
Of course, the seeding partners were carefully selected. Ayaka herself selected four women with a hundred percent loyalty, ensuring they gain power without harboring strange ambitions and never defy Ayaka, who is set to become the next clan chief. Although I have neither the right to choose nor the right to refuse, these four diverse women, ranging from fifteen to thirty years old, strangely all fell right into my strike zone. Inadvertently, I became captivated by them.
“I was confident that they would surely satisfy Lutz-sama.”
The morning after another passionate night that changed the date, as I returned home with a content smile, Ayaka, wearing her usual gentle smile, made an eerie remark. It seems Ayaka not only chose partners useful for the clan but also carefully selected them, considering my preferences. In the past in Japan, it was said that selecting concubines was both the duty and right of the primary wife, so perhaps it’s a similar mindset. Well, I’d rather appreciate thoughtful consideration and enjoy it rather than doing it out of obligation.
However, honestly, I don’t quite understand the emotions hidden beneath Ayaka’s gentle smile. As someone who has been repeatedly told by my wife in my former world, “You’re dense,” it’s beyond my ability to read such subtleties. It would be nice if she were as straightforward as Gretel, but then again, that’s physically intimidating.
