After Retirement, Living a Stud Life in Another World - 181
**Chapter 181: Ayaka’s Unstoppable Power**
Liese and her subordinates stormed into the mansion after smashing the door down. The Dark Clan followed behind, guarding the ultimate weapon—Ayaka. I was part of the group too, but I doubted I’d be much help this time.
The mansion lent to my foolish brothers had once been the Stuttgart Marquisate before becoming a direct royal domain. Even though it was a small frontier estate, it was designed with a large, lavish hall for entertaining guests. However, the current scene was vastly different from its previous elegant appearance. The tables that were likely meant for a standing banquet were now cluttered with numerous liquor bottles and some suspiciously colored potions.
Dominating most of the room were eight oversized beds, even larger than king-size beds from my world. It was obvious what they were meant for, and the sight made me feel nauseous.
On one of those beds, Nicole had been stripped down to her underwear. She was conscious but unable to move, likely due to the drugs she was given. She struggled, weakly flailing her arms. Next to her, Corinna was still unconscious, lying on a bed.
I see, they were waiting for her to wake up. After all, it’s no fun when your partner is unconscious—yeah, I get it… No, no, no! The moment you drug someone and take away their freedom, it’s a crime. A blatant crime!
“Do not move! Your actions violate the laws of the kingdom, and we cannot overlook them. Surrender and submit to judgment!”
Liese was far angrier than I was, probably because she was also a woman. A blue aura enveloped her body, and more than a dozen ice spears materialized around her, ready to be unleashed.
“Hmph, and here I thought someone important had come. It’s just you, Liese. Do you think you can command me? Men, get them!”
At Matheus’ signal, one of the men readied a knife while two women dressed as maids swiftly began chanting spells. One cast a fireball, while the other launched an air bullet.
But Liese remained calm. She neutralized the fireball with an ice attack and pierced the shoulder of the man preparing to throw the knife with an ice spear. Despite how harsh it looked, she was being kind—her power was strong enough to crush his heart if she wanted. As for the air bullet, her subordinates skillfully blocked it with a wind barrier. The royal army’s soldiers were indeed impressive.
“Damn it… Use the fire magic tools! Fire them all at once—there’s no way she can block everything. Focus on taking out the woman in the back!”
Niklaus screeched, and the men simultaneously pulled out objects shaped like wooden spoons from their belts. The female spellcasters prepared their second round of magic.
To be fair, my idiot brother’s plan was sound. In such close combat, if magic were launched from different angles simultaneously, something would hit. And wind barriers, which had protected us earlier, weren’t as effective against fire. While Liese could constantly maintain a water barrier, Ayaka, who was focused on her own spell, could be vulnerable.
Unfortunately for my brothers, they realized this too late. While Liese had been buying time, Ayaka’s spell had already been completed.
“Thank you, Lady Anneliese… Now, kneel before me!”
I felt a slight pressure pushing down on my head, but it wasn’t unbearable. Yes, this was the same spell Ayaka had used when we rescued Tseli’s family.
Looking around, I saw a familiar sight. The female magicians and the men had been flattened against the floor like frogs squashed by a car. Even my foolish brothers were no exception. The only ones still standing were Ayaka and me. Even Liese, the commander of the royal army’s magic corps, was down on her hands and knees, struggling to hold herself up.
“Tch… I’ve heard about this before, but experiencing Ayaka’s ‘Intimidation’ firsthand… I can’t withstand it. This is the true power of one of the strongest dark magic users…”
Liese sounded frustrated. Still, the fact that she could even talk was impressive, as all of her subordinates were pinned to the floor.
“I am honored by your praise, Commander. Though it seems Lord Lutz has hardly been affected at all…”
Ayaka, having fulfilled her role as today’s star, finally let out a relieved smile.
“Even I can’t stand up… Ayaka, I’m sorry, but can I leave the task of restraining them to you…?”
“Of course. Lord Lutz, would you mind assisting me?”
“Sure…”
Sigh, tying up men isn’t exactly my idea of fun.
