After Retirement, Living a Stud Life in Another World - Chapter 252: With Sister
Chapter 252: With Sister
“What was that?” I wondered.
“Hmm, I’ve never seen it before. The water orb didn’t burst; it completely vanished, didn’t it?” Liese observed.
We still couldn’t fully interpret the mysterious phenomenon our daughter Tina showed us.
Liese, my sister, snapped out of the initial shock and tried the same thing two more times. When she floated a water orb in front of the baby’s eyes… it ended up disappearing as if sucked somewhere, exactly like the first time.
“It can only be that she ‘absorbed’ the magic…” Liese speculated.
“Is that even possible?” I questioned.
Liese’s guess surprised even me. There was a technique to absorb another’s “magic power” and turn it into one’s own, but a mage who could absorb water or fire already manifested as “magic” was unheard of. Even in the vast knowledge of my sister, a genius who graduated top of the Royal Academy’s Magic Department, no such person existed.
“Hmm, it’s unthinkable by common sense, but ‘non-attributed’ is already outside our knowledge. We can only watch over her to the extent it doesn’t become dangerous,” Liese concluded.
“Yeah…” I agreed.
I gazed at Tina’s angelic sleeping face, silently focusing on her future for a while, anticipating it wouldn’t be smooth.
When I glanced beside me, a single transparent tear ran down Liese’s refined white cheek. Noticing my gaze, her brown eyes turned toward me… her eyelids quietly closed, and her lips parted as if waiting for something.
No, no, if I tasted those sweet lips now, I definitely wouldn’t stop… No way, Liese was hurting right now, and taking advantage of that to do this or that would be beneath a man…
In the end, I succumbed to my adolescent desires.

I woke up to the sensation of something warm moving beside me.
“Oh, Sister…” I murmured.
“Good morning, Lutz,” Liese greeted.
Morning light streamed through the window, and birds chirped to mark the time. Both I and my sister beside me wore nothing. Well, it was the so-called morning-after scene. But experiencing this in my family home, with my real sister, and with our child sleeping right beside us, carried a uniquely decadent scent.
“You slept well, didn’t you?” Liese noted.
Liese softened her cool expression and gave me a gentle look.
“Did you sleep, Sister… Oh, with Tina here, you must have been woken up several times, right?” I asked.
Yes, I exhausted myself in the night’s serious battle and irresponsibly slept like a log, but Liese couldn’t do that. A baby cried mercilessly to wake the mother when hungry. Even though Liese’s body was fully healed with magic, she must be tired… though most of that fatigue was probably because I went all-out like a rampaging general.
“Not really, I was only woken once. This child… she seems like she’ll be easy to raise,” Liese reassured.
“…I see,” I replied.
“Thank you, Lutz,” Liese expressed.
Huh? Why “thank you”?
“Last night, after you held me, I realized this child must have infinite possibilities,” Liese explained.
“You mean the ‘absorbing’ magic thing from yesterday?” I clarified.
“Yes. That mysterious power will surely be a strong ally for a mage in battle,” Liese affirmed.
Yeah, come to think of it, that might be true.
Tina’s ability seemed to erase things brought by others’ magic. Maybe it could neutralize an enemy’s attack magic or something like that.
“Yeah, something like that. Of course, it’s just a possibility, but I want to bet on it. So, thank you… for giving me a child with unknown possibilities. I don’t know if it’ll work out, but I’ll strive to raise this child into a mage worthy of being the granddaughter of a ‘hero,’” Liese declared.
Wow, Liese was already in full-on education-mama mode. I felt a bit sorry for Tina, who would be trained by my genius, effort-sparing class-president-type sister… I wouldn’t be able to handle it.

“Lutz, it seems you had fun last night, huh?” Sieg teased.
My brother Sieg, who was shedding his boyish charm to become an ultra-handsome young man, threw out a line reminiscent of a national RPG from my old world. How did he know what we did… Well, obviously. My bedroom showed no signs of use, while Liese’s bed was in quite a state, so the servants must have reported it.
Naturally, that information reached our mother, the head of the household, too… She sent me a fleeting, lukewarm glance but then chatted brightly with Liese as usual. I didn’t regret this relationship with my sister, but I felt deeply sorry toward Mother. Her pretending not to know was her kindness toward us, and I was very grateful… It was rough but kind, so like Mother.
