After the Divorce, the Heiress Omega Regretted It - Chapter 25
For the first twenty-two years of her life, Qin Yiwan lived with meticulous discipline. She had never spoken out of turn, never stepped out of line. In the eyes of her teachers and classmates, she was flawless—admirable from afar, but not someone one dared approach, for fear of disturbing her stillness.
She constantly held herself to the highest standard, never allowing herself to do anything that could tarnish her or her family’s honor.
What she hadn’t expected… was to fall in love with a fictional person in a dream—to break every rule she’d ever set for herself.
“Jiejie… kiss me.”
Luo Yunye’s breath brushed against her ear, thick with desire, a seductive whisper that stirred something deep within her.
Qin Yiwan’s heart raced. She reached out, her trembling fingers cupping Luo Yunye’s face.
Luo Yunye turned her head and kissed the center of her palm. The heat of it made Qin Yiwan flinch as if she’d been burned. Her heart pounded, her head was dizzy—so she wrapped her arms around Luo Yunye’s neck and kissed her.
In the next moment, Luo Yunye kissed her back with force. The leaves beneath them rustled and crunched under their shifting weight.
Qin Yiwan thought she must have gone mad. But in this moment, unseen by the world, in this hidden dream, why couldn’t she allow herself to lose control—just this once?
She was human too, after all. A person with emotions and desires, not some saint removed from mortal urges.
The heated kisses trailed from her cheek, down her long neck, and across her delicate collarbones. Luo Yunye gently gathered her in her arms, unzipping the back of her dress like unwrapping a gift, slowly slipping it off her.
Qin Yiwan had never been this intimate with anyone before. Uncertain, she crossed her arms over her chest, her face flushed, eyes darting, unsure where to look.
In the darkness, she looked like a shy, budding white rose tinged with the softest pink. Luo Yunye gently took her hands, fingers intertwining. “You’re beautiful, Jiejie.”
She leaned in again, and Qin Yiwan shivered, goosebumps rising across her skin. This new sensation overwhelmed her—pleasurable or unbearable, she couldn’t quite tell.
Every slight movement of her waist made the leaves below whisper in the dark, the sound laced with intimacy.
Luo Yunye’s kisses moved lower. When they reached her waist, it tickled—Qin Yiwan couldn’t suppress the quiet moan that slipped from her lips. Her dress lay discarded to the side. Luo Yunye gently laid her onto it and continued to kiss her.
“I didn’t wash my hands… this might not be the best way.”
Brushing aside the strands of hair from Qin Yiwan’s face, Luo Yunye tucked them behind her ear. The girl in her arms let out a shaky breath, curling in slightly—only for Luo Yunye to murmur, laughing softly by her ear, “But there are… other ways.”
Qin Yiwan kept her arms tightly around herself, watching Luo Yunye shift and kneel between her thighs. Realizing what she intended to do, she reached out hastily, trying to stop her. “No… no need.”
“Didn’t you say this would be the last time you see me?”
Luo Yunye gently pulled her hand away, pressing a kiss to the back of it. “Let’s not leave any regrets, alright?”
How could anyone be this charming, this temptingly wicked?
Qin Yiwan couldn’t see her clearly, but the voice, soft and tender, and the warm kiss to her hand—it all tugged at her heart, making it impossible to resist. Like a flower finally opening to spring warmth, she slowly gave in, welcoming her tender affection.

The next morning, Luo Yunye overslept again. When Butler Lin knocked at the door, both she and Qin Yiwan stirred awake at the same time.
Afraid that Qin Yiwan might realize they woke up together, Luo Yunye didn’t let go of her hand right away.
The knocking continued, annoyingly persistent. Luo Yunye pressed her fingers to her temple and called out, irritable, “Got it! I’m getting up now!”
Yet she made no move to rise. Instead, she lay there, turning to glance at the quietly sleeping Qin Yiwan and then at the erratic lines on the monitor, her expression unreadable.
Leaning down, she placed a kiss on Qin Yiwan’s cheek. “Good morning, Jiejie.”
Qin Yiwan had just shared an intimate moment with dream-Yunye. Now hearing that same exact voice again made her heart skip uncontrollably.
But the realization that this Luo Yunye wasn’t the one from her dream made her instinctively recoil. She didn’t want this one kissing her.
She needed to wake up soon. If the real Luo Yunye ever developed feelings for her, and her mother started pushing for grandkids… she’d be doomed.
Watching the sharp spikes and dips on the monitor, Luo Yunye guessed her emotions must be running wild again. She probably really wanted to wake up—just as she’d said the night before.
After freshening up, Luo Yunye held Qin Yiwan’s hand, comforting her. “Don’t worry, I already called DR. Xu Nuo. She’ll help you wake up.”
She took leave from her internship on only the second day. Zhang Tingting wasn’t happy and tried persuading her over the phone.
“If it’s not too urgent, can’t you finish things and come back to work?”
“It’s very urgent,” Luo Yunye said firmly, hanging up as soon as she saw Xu Nuo arrive.
“Xu Nuo, her brain activity is high. She clearly wants to wake up. Do you have any way to help her?”
“Let me check,” Xu Nuo replied calmly.
She examined Qin Yiwan with her instruments. Physically, everything seemed normal. The active brainwave readings indicated a strong will to regain consciousness. Xu Nuo concluded that surgery could stimulate her wakefulness.
“I’ll call for an ambulance now. You should pack a few things and come with us.”
After a quick cleanup, Luo Yunye carried Qin Yiwan downstairs and rode with her in the ambulance.
On the way to the hospital, she held her hand tightly, kissing it softly. “A’wan… A’wan…”
She had a feeling it wouldn’t be her Awan who woke up, but the primary personality, Qin Yiwan.
But that didn’t matter anymore. Whether it was A’wan or Qin Yiwan—whoever she was, she was her wife.
She would love her, stay by her side, and protect her—no matter what.
Watching the hospital bed disappear into the operating room, Luo Yunye stood by the door, pacing anxiously, her gaze never leaving it. She was nervous, excited, hopeful.
Her wife was finally waking up.
Qin Yiwan probably didn’t know that someone could enter her dreams and when she saw a stranger who looked exactly like her dream-lover—how would she react?
As the minutes passed, Qin Rushuang arrived with Du Weimin. She glanced at the door of the OR and asked Luo Yunye, “How long has she been in there?”
“Thirty minutes.”
Qin Rushuang looked equally worried, so tense she didn’t even know what to do with herself. Du Weimin, however, wore a strange expression, not asking anything about Qin Yiwan’s condition.
“Why didn’t you notify us earlier about such a major surgery?” she asked sharply. “If Butler Lin hadn’t called us, were you planning to tell us after it was all over?”
“I wanted to surprise you when she woke up,” Luo Yunye replied coolly. “Would telling you early have helped? You’d just be sitting here worrying anyway.”
“And if something went wrong during surgery? Would you take responsibility for that?”
Luo Yunye snorted. “Mama Du, she’s still in surgery. Are you cursing her now? Afraid she’ll wake up?”
Du Weimin flared. “What nonsense are you talking?!”
“Enough,” Qin Rushuang snapped. She rubbed her temples and sighed. “Quiet, both of you. You’re giving me a headache.”
The corridor fell silent. Luo Yunye didn’t feel like arguing anyway—her eyes stayed on the clock.
The longer the surgery dragged on, the higher the chance of complications. Nearly an hour had passed with no news—her anxiety only grew.
At last, the OR doors swung open. Luo Yunye rushed over. “Dr. Xu Nuo, how is A’wan?”
“The operation was a success. She’s regained consciousness.”
Relief flooded Luo Yunye’s face—until Xu Nuo added, “But… it looks like she may have some side effects.”
Luo Yunye’s heart skipped a beat. “What kind of side effects?”
“When she woke up, she asked why she was in an operating room. I asked her some questions—early signs suggest memory loss. She seems to have forgotten everything from the car accident to becoming comatose. We’ll need a few days to observe further.”
It felt like a thunderbolt struck Luo Yunye. She froze.
If Qin Yiwan had lost all memories from that period… then she wouldn’t remember her. Wouldn’t recall any of what she had done. Wouldn’t remember their time together at all.
Moments later, a nurse wheeled Qin Yiwan out. Luo Yunye followed closely, watching her sleep, the words she wanted to say caught in her throat.
Qin Rushuang called out to her twice. With no response, her eyes dimmed.
Du Weimin, upon hearing about the memory loss, secretly relaxed. She followed to the ward, called out softly, and then took Qin Rushuang’s hand. “Let’s give her some peace. We can come back later.”
Qin Rushuang’s eyes reddened. She shook off her hand. “I’m not leaving. I’ll wait here till she wakes up.”
Du Weimin awkwardly withdrew her hand and tucked it into her bag. “Then I’ll go buy her something to eat. She’ll be hungry when she wakes up.”
Meanwhile, Luo Yunye fetched a thermos of hot water. Qin Yiwan would be thirsty when she woke.
Seeing how downcast she looked, Qin Rushuang comforted her. “Maybe it’s for the best. She doesn’t remember the accident or the coma—it was a painful chapter anyway.”
Luo Yunye smiled faintly. She knew that made sense, but her heart still ached. She didn’t want to be forgotten.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the golden light cast a warm glow through the room.
Finally, Qin Yiwan stirred.
Luo Yunye rushed forward, helping her sit up and handing her the warm water. “A’wan, would you like a sip?”
She was indeed parched. Taking a small sip, she moistened her throat before looking up at the woman before her.
The woman was beautiful—bathed in the soft amber light of sunset, she looked warm and tender, her gaze filled with affection.
But… she didn’t recognize her.
Why was this stranger looking at her like that?
Qin Yiwan frowned, trying hard to recall something—anything. She felt like she had seen her before, but no memory surfaced.
“Excuse me… who are you?”
