- Chapter 1 - Transmigrated into a Novel
Hot, so hot.
The heat rising from her bones carried a boiling, trembling desire that urgently filled her entire body.
Bian You lay curled on her side, trembling slightly, her face flushed crimson from the feverish heat.
A faintly sweet fragrance permeated the vast space. On the soft, spacious bed, two women with disheveled clothes lay tangled together, their lips parting in soft, continuous moans.
Her mind was a chaotic mess. Bian You’s brows were tightly furrowed, her expression pained.
It hurt so much. It felt as if every bone in her body had been crushed.
After the car accident, this was the last thing Bian You remembered.

A flood of fragmented text flashed through her mind. Only now did Bian You hazily realize that she was no longer in her original body, she had transmigrated into a scummy Alpha character who shared her name.
She Likes My Pheromones, at first glance, the title sounded like a sweet romance novel. In reality, however, it was a story wrapped in sugary packaging, filled with nothing but heart-wrenching, infuriating plot twists.
The character she had transmigrated into was a defective Alpha with no pheromones, obsessed with the female lead, Qi Zhi’e. But compared to other normal Alphas, she stood no chance in winning Qi Zhi’e’s affection. So, she resorted to underhanded methods, colluding with others to trap Qi Zhi’e by her side.
Yet forced affection was always repulsive. Qi Zhi’e never accepted her, treating her with nothing but cold disdain.
Later… Qi Zhi’e escaped, and the scummy Alpha lost everything, dying alone on a winter night, her corpse left unrecognizable after being devoured by stray cats.
The phantom pain still lingered, and the heat radiating from her bones showed no signs of fading. The agony of both pain and fever, combined with the knowledge of her character’s tragic fate, made her wish desperately that this was all just a nightmare.
Blinking groggily, Bian You turned her gaze to the woman lying beside her. Her mind went blank, a chill sweeping through her entire body.
Had she transmigrated right into the scene where the scummy Alpha drugged Qi Zhi’e?
Cold sweat beaded on her forehead as Bian You stared fixedly at the woman before her. Exquisitely beautiful, her delicate features were twisted in discomfort, her cheeks flushed like peach blossoms. Her slightly parted lips held an irresistible allure, tempting one to lean in for a taste.
Ding. “Host, your original body is still lying in the hospital. As long as you successfully romance the female lead and rewrite the original plot, you can return to your world.”
The cold, mechanical voice felt like a bucket of ice water dumped over Bian You’s head.
Was she really supposed to recklessly pursue someone just to go back?
As if sensing her hesitation, the system added, “This will also change her life’s trajectory, sparing her from the dark period described in the novel. A win-win situation, don’t you think?”
Bian You’s throat remained painfully dry, her body tense, her mind tightening with pressure.
After delivering its message, the system fell silent. Gritting her teeth, Bian You tried to ignore the discomfort in her body, struggling to get up and leave the room.
She could already smell the lily-of-the-valley pheromones in the air, the concentration reaching an almost dizzying level. Moreover, though this body’s glands were defective, they still belonged to an Alpha. The overwhelming Omega pheromones sent her Alpha’s possessive instincts skyrocketing.
No, this couldn’t go on. She couldn’t stay here any longer, something disastrous would happen.
Bian You’s heart trembled violently, and for some reason, a phrase surfaced in her mind:
Lily of the valley seemingly serene, yet entirely poisonous.
She tried desperately to ignore the overwhelming effect the woman behind her had on her. Her entire body burned and weakened, leaving only one thought: escape.
This was a crucial plot point in the story where their ill-fated entanglement began. She couldn’t act like the original scumbag Alpha and attempt to force herself on Qi Zhi’e. Otherwise, how would she be any different from the original protagonist?
Her feet touched the cold floor.
“Mmm!”
In the dizzying whirl, Bian You’s hazy gaze met a pair of eyes brimming with unshed tears. Beyond their striking beauty, she couldn’t discern any emotion within them.
The lily-of-the-valley scent crashed over her like an avalanche. When the woman flipped her over, the warmth, the softness, the intoxicating fragrance enveloped her. Her already precarious rationality shattered completely the moment those plump, crimson lips pressed against hers.
This wasn’t part of the original plot.
In a fleeting moment of clarity, this thought crossed Bian You’s mind before vanishing, replaced only by a ravenous desire to consume the woman in her arms.
So warm, warm enough to crave, to want to possess again and again.
Qi Zhi’e, Qi Zhi’e…
Exhausted to the point of collapse, Bian You faintly heard the system say something before slipping into unconsciousness, her mind too muddled to comprehend.
Her body felt light, as if floating on air, wrapped in a sweet, warm embrace.
She drowned in it, unable to resist.
It was an unprecedented comfort.
Her lashes fluttered slightly as harsh light pierced through her eyelids, disturbing her peaceful dream.
Bian You tentatively opened her eyes, only to squeeze them shut again with a grimace. It took her a moment to gather her scattered thoughts.
Snap!
Her eyes flew open in alarm, meeting the blinding sunlight streaming through the window. The glare stung, bringing tears to her eyes.
Yet in her arms, she held something soft and warm like a cloud or silken tofu, its touch irresistibly addictive.
Slowly, stiffly, Bian You lowered her gaze to the woman nestled against her chest, a dazed look crossing her face.
Even through the exhaustion, the woman’s breathtaking beauty was undeniable.
A dull ache throbbed at the back of her neck, right where an Alpha’s scent gland would be. And within it, she could sense Qi Zhi’e’s pheromones.
Had she been marked?
Bian You’s mind was a tangled mess, but her sleeping self had held Qi Zhi’e tightly, her arms now sore from overuse.
Only now did the memories of last night rush back.
Every intense, overwhelming scene replayed in her mind. Bian You’s face paled, then flushed crimson to the tips of her ears. She wished the ground would swallow her whole.
What had she done?!
How could she have been such a beast!
Bian You’s heart was in complete turmoil. How had things escalated to this point? She had done something even the original host hadn’t managed to accomplish wouldn’t this mean she’d die without anyone to collect her body in the future?
Her mind was utterly shattered, and recalling the system’s mission to conquer the target only intensified her splitting headache.
Yet even in this situation, she didn’t consider fleeing. Only acutely aware of the awkwardness between them, she cautiously withdrew her arms from around Qi Zhi’e, intending to put her clothes on first.
As she pulled back her hands and saw the lingering traces on her fingers, Bian You’s mind buzzed violently.
Last night, they had actually fallen asleep without even cleaning up!
Would this kind of first experience leave a bad impression on Qi Zhi’e?
With this thought, she lowered her gaze to assess Qi Zhi’e’s condition, but the moment she did, she met a pair of inscrutable dark eyes.
The strings in her mind tightened instantly, wound up like a coiled spring, and her body hastily retreated.
Qi Zhi’e, who had remained silent all this time, watched the other’s movements, a shadow flickering deep in her eyes. Her thin lips pressed into a straight line as she simply observed quietly.
Under that gaze, Bian You swallowed nervously, then noticed her own embarrassing state again. She hurriedly pulled half the blanket over herself and stammered, “Miss Qi, I’ll take responsibility.”
No matter what, what was done was done, she couldn’t just walk away like some heartless scoundrel, could she?
Yet the person before her seemed to have heard some absurd fantasy, the corners of her lips curling into a mocking arc. Just looking at Bian You’s familiar face made the cruelty in her heart nearly uncontrollable.
“Take responsibility?”
Qi Zhi’e’s voice was slightly hoarse, but the pleasant quality of her original tone was still discernible, carrying a hint of icy chill like shaved ice on a summer day.
But not sweet.
These two words of rhetorical question instantly rendered Bian You speechless.
She was so flustered she didn’t know what to do. Given the impression the original host had left and the things she’d done, talking about responsibility now must seem laughable to Qi Zhi’e.
Biting her lower lip anxiously, her hands clutching the blanket turned deathly pale.
“Whether you believe it or not, I’m actually not the Bian You you originally knew.”
“I’m not her.”
