After the Top Idol Omega and I Started Living Together - Chapter 33
Chapter 33
The sea breeze swept through forcefully, rolling over the skin from bottom to top.
Sheng Jingyu froze entirely in the seat, the warm breath nearing her nose tip fell hotly under her eyes, and along with it came Lu Zhao’s lips.
The lights outside the window flickered dimly across Sheng Jingyu’s vision, like a frame-dropped scene.
One second, she saw Lu Zhao’s nose tip tracing her cheek like a cat, and when the light brightened, Lu Zhao’s lips pressed onto hers.
They were not dry and rough but moist and soft.
Whether Lu Zhao had experience or learned instinctively, in the moment the light dimmed, she pried open Sheng Jingyu’s teeth.
Lychee flavor spilled over Sheng Jingyu’s tongue tip, pushing and welcoming the taste to fill her mouth and throat, gradually seeping deeper into her body.
Sheng Jingyu had never kissed anyone, let alone felt such a sensation.
The raised partition in front created a completely sealed space for her and Lu Zhao, while the driver drove the vehicle ahead.
Sporadic streetlights fell into the dim cabin, and the interwoven heat of their breaths felt like an obscure flame, burning dimly at Sheng Jingyu’s heart, her heart pounding as if it would burst from her chest.
Though the Alpha in front of her did not use pheromones to overwhelm, Sheng Jingyu’s hands gradually lost strength.
The hand originally grasping Lu Zhao’s shoulder was caught by her, trembling weakly as it fell.
Lu Zhao actively grabbed that hand, kissing Sheng Jingyu bit by bit, her legs, originally kneeling on the seat, shifting to a new place to support her.
A streetlight passed the window, casting the cabin into a fleeting second of darkness.
Then, the separated shadows on the partition overlapped under the rekindled light, the delicate ornaments on the high heels lightly touching the other’s knee.
It did not end.
Lu Zhao, like a small beast not yet satisfied, pressed forward brazenly in front of Sheng Jingyu, her hand holding the wrist turning into interlocked fingers.
Lu Zhao’s kiss was not gentle at all; she did not seem like a particularly gentle person to begin with.
Her distinct-boned hand tensed with a few visible veins, one holding Sheng Jingyu, the other climbing to her neck, not to draw her pheromones but to lift her head, urging her deeper into the kiss.
Lychee and grape, fruits of the same season, collided together, falling into an ice-sealed wine glass.
Sheng Jingyu knew she should refuse, but the seat behind her and the person pressing forward made refusal impossible.
The warm palm rested on her thin clothing, and she felt herself wrapped by ocean waves, the bright sun rising above, dazzling her into a daze.
The car moved through the silent midnight, while Sheng Jingyu sat amidst the flickering neon, kissed and bewitched by the person before her, sinking into the sea.
Her faltering thoughts seemed to connect with the interrupted events of Lu Zhao’s susceptible period that day.
She truly could not refuse.
Yet, she also wanted to let the mistake continue.
It seemed a lychee pit broke in Sheng Jingyu’s mouth; she did not taste bitterness but felt a tingling on her tongue tip.
Then, that sensation quickly passed through her throat, spreading to every part of her body.
Finally, when Sheng Jingyu was nearly out of breath, Lu Zhao let her go.
She lightly brushed against Sheng Jingyu’s lips like a dragonfly skimming water, her eyes curving with a smile.
Those not-quite-clear eyes carried satisfaction and petulance, leaning close to Sheng Jingyu’s ear and saying, “Your mouth is so soft…”
The voice held no teasing malice, just a straightforward comment on their kiss.
A high evaluation.
Laden with ambiguity.
Though the distance between them was now much farther than zero, their shadows on the partition still clung together.
The heat lingered at Sheng Jingyu’s neck, her breathing still uneven, each exhale tinged with the sea breeze’s scent.
The passing window lights flickered in Sheng Jingyu’s vision, like a warning signal.
She seemed unable to suppress it, yet tried hard to restrain herself.
The arm resting on her shoulder, with a shirt nearly slipping off, held two halves of a lychee below the collarbone.
No escape, no retreat, her gray-silver eyes veiled with obscurity, her level gaze struggling to restrain.
The reality gradually reclaiming Sheng Jingyu’s vision seemed to remind her of the setting and what this person had just experienced.
One kiss was enough.
She could not be greedy.
Sheng Jingyu’s chest rose and fell slowly, calmly, restraining herself as she looked at the person before her, blindly tapping her phone: “Lu Zhao.”
The mechanical female voice, emotionless, cut through the heat in the space like a slit.
Lu Zhao heard it and looked at Sheng Jingyu, her gaze confused, tilting her head: “Hmm? How do you know my name?”
Her head moved, inevitably shifting her legs as well.
Sheng Jingyu silently endured the shifting heat, her fingers calm, continuing to tap: “Do you know who I am?”
Lu Zhao answered without hesitation, nodding: “I know.”
Sheng Jingyu, seeing this, was about to ask who she was.
But before she finished typing, Lu Zhao answered herself: “You’re the pretty sister who kisses so well!”
Her voice rose, those amber eyes not entirely clear but brimming with radiant brilliance.
Lu Zhao hid none of her thoughts; her current thoughts, unfiltered by her mind, came out with extra honesty.
Her actions were the same.
The distance that had just widened shrank again in the moment her words fell.
Lu Zhao leaned toward Sheng Jingyu, her slender fingers landing on her lips: “Has anyone ever said you’re very pretty?”
Not a serious question, like a child’s.
Yet, because it was childlike, it was straightforwardly true.
Sheng Jingyu’s vision was entirely occupied by Lu Zhao’s shadow, every movement of hers felt with utmost clarity.
The hand on her lips carried a warmth not of her own body, slowly tracing, bit by bit, inch by inch, as if admiring a treasure, far gentler than the earlier kiss.
For a moment, Sheng Jingyu forgot the current setting, silently gazing at Lu Zhao.
Those long, dense lashes curled upward clearly in her vision, the amber pupils like dust-covered gems.
Dust-covered…
“So pretty…”
As Lu Zhao murmured in admiration again, Sheng Jingyu withdrew her hand from their interlocked fingers.
Her movement was quick, catching Lu Zhao’s hand on her lips while she was distracted: “Lu Zhao.”
“Hmm?”
Lu Zhao was not annoyed, tilting her head again, her shirt slipping further down her shoulder.
Her bare shoulder showed, but her eyes still held innocence, round like a deer’s, looking at Sheng Jingyu.
Lu Zhao seemed to listen to Sheng Jingyu, even seriously looking up when she called her name.
Then, like a small animal, she quietly tilted her head, waiting for Sheng Jingyu to say more.
This time, Sheng Jingyu did not speak again.
She lifted her hand to Lu Zhao’s waist, her cool hand suddenly touching her shirt, carrying a calm strength, silently telling Lu Zhao to sit still and not move.
Lu Zhao, confused, asked: “What are you doing?”
Then Sheng Jingyu pulled a small medicine bottle from her bag, something she always kept in the past.
For ten years, she had not used it, but this time, she took it out for someone else.
Sheng Jingyu seemed displeased, her gaze lowered, slowly shaking out a small pill and handing it to Lu Zhao: “Eat it.”
Though her consciousness was unclear, Lu Zhao could tell it was a pill.
She had taken medicine for a while in the past, the bitter memory always resurfacing, her brows furrowing.
“I don’t want to.”
Saying this, Lu Zhao stubbornly turned her head away.
She childishly covered her ears, as if not seeing meant she did not have to take it: “I don’t want to take medicine anymore.”
Anyone could see this reaction clearly.
Sheng Jingyu did not know this was part of Lu Zhao’s past she did not want to recall, but she could not keep watching Lu Zhao like this.
She could not bear it.
Today, Sheng Jingyu realized she was not some unshakeable saint.
This child’s pheromones were truly deadly.
“Be good.” Sheng Jingyu pressed the phone’s shortcut phrase.
A red light lit up at the intersection ahead, and Lu Zhao’s turned-away face caught the steady streetlight, full of unyielding stubbornness.
Heavily, Sheng Jingyu lowered her breath.
Her hand still rested on Lu Zhao’s wrist, and she pressed another shortcut phrase: “Or I’ll get angry.”
Though the phone’s voice held no inflection, Lu Zhao paused and turned back.
For her at this moment, it was not commands that moved her but Sheng Jingyu’s emotions.
She did not want her to be angry.
Sheng Jingyu had not expected her latter words to have such an effect.
Her gaze wavered slightly, the hand on Lu Zhao’s back filled with warmth.
At that moment, Lu Zhao’s presence filled Sheng Jingyu’s vision again.
Even her hair tips and earlobes fell into this person’s hands.
“If I take the medicine obediently, you have to give me a reward.”
The hair framing her face was lifted, and Lu Zhao raised her unrestrained hand, lightly pinching Sheng Jingyu’s earlobe as she spoke.
Unlike her lips, which had been kissed, her earlobe was soft but not cool.
Lu Zhao suddenly leaned closer, her nose tip faintly hovering, her warm breath full of cunning, teasing Sheng Jingyu: “Pretty sister, the reward I want is simple~”
The sea breeze, boundless, rushed recklessly with her voice onto Sheng Jingyu’s neck.
The hand resting at her side clenched slightly, then suddenly relaxed.
“Then I’ll give it to you together.”
The typing made no sound, and Sheng Jingyu’s gaze was not clear.
Lu Zhao did not understand the meaning of Sheng Jingyu’s words, lifting her head in confusion.
But before she could see the changing expression on Sheng Jingyu’s face, the car started moving the second the red light changed.
The lights sped backward in Lu Zhao’s vision, and in an instant, she felt inertia and force pushing her toward the person in front.
Sheng Jingyu still sat upright in the seat, but her lips held the promised pill.
Her distinct-boned hand, with some strength, pressed against Lu Zhao’s waist.
Then, she pushed and kissed her.
