After the Top Idol Omega and I Started Living Together - Chapter 40
Chapter 40
The vacation villa sat on the island’s mountainside. This height difference allowed an endless view of the sea from every angle.
The backyard pool was deliberately designed to appear without edges. The clear blue water rippled with the wind, seamlessly connecting from near to far with the boundless sea in the distance.
In the center of this scene stood a person who had just emerged from the water.
Water droplets covered her face freely. The breeze carried a clean scent.
The simple bikini offered no cover at all. Since Lu Zhao chose to wear it, she had no intention of hiding anything.
The flowing water pushed Lu Zhao’s body. Water droplets clung to her slender figure.
The sunlight, carrying the scent of the sea breeze, shone brightly. It reflected in her eyes, revealing a real and delicate skin texture. Faintly, traces of abdominal muscles showed under the water’s shimmer.
Not too much, not too little, it perfectly displayed the secrets she usually hid under clothes.
It was like a treasure carefully crafted by the creator, waiting for discovery.
Sheng Jingyu’s gaze lingered on this scene for a while. She couldn’t tell which kind of sea breeze blew before her now.
Due to the island’s location, even summer temperatures didn’t rise excessively.
Yet, Sheng Jingyu felt the surrounding temperature inexplicably high. Her ears burned, and her heart seemed to speed up with this sudden warmth.
Thump, thump…
“Teacher, the scenery here is amazing! Do you want to join?” Lu Zhao didn’t notice Sheng Jingyu’s change. She invited her enthusiastically.
She didn’t know if she influenced her pheromones or if the pheromones hidden in her genes influenced her.
Lu Zhao naturally loved water. Seeing this clear blue pool upon waking, she couldn’t resist jumping in.
At this moment, the housekeeper, who had been preparing breakfast, walked to Sheng Jingyu’s side. She filled her in on the context: “Miss Lu came downstairs this morning and took an interest in the pool. She ate a quick breakfast and jumped in.”
Sheng Jingyu heard this and silently regained her usual calm demeanor.
She glanced at the housekeeper, then restrained her gaze back to Lu Zhao. She told her, “I’ll eat first.”
The sky was cloudless, and the sunlight was clear. Lu Zhao’s eyes, waiting for Sheng Jingyu to continue, brimmed with anticipation.
Sheng Jingyu’s rationality disliked getting wet in the water. But beneath those expectant eyes was a body covered in water droplets.
Sheng Jingyu lowered her eyes slightly and added, “Then I’ll go upstairs to change.”
“Great!” Lu Zhao beamed. She turned and dove back into the water.
Water splashed, and the calmed surface rippled again.
The clear pool water reflected the underwater scene vividly. Her slender legs moved lightly, creating shimmering ripples around her, as if weaving a fish’s tail for her.
Though alone, Lu Zhao’s joy was undeniable.
She was indeed a fish, one released from an ornamental pond back to the sea. Every stretched movement spoke of freedom and happiness.
The sea breeze blew forward, lifting Sheng Jingyu’s hanging hair.
She watched Lu Zhao subtly, hoping she could stay this happy forever.
This was why she brought her here.
“Miss, everything is ready,” the housekeeper’s voice came to her ears.
She stood properly beside Sheng Jingyu, reminding her she could now eat.
The breakfast here was almost identical to the one at the mansion, just more refined.
Sheng Jingyu slowly held her knife and fork, cutting the food in front of her calmly and naturally. The ticking clock seemed tightened by a screw, making time pass slowly and steadily.
The housekeeper served nearby. Her peripheral vision caught the pool’s blue water. She said, “This is the first time Miss brought someone else here.”
Sheng Jingyu slowly ate her last bite of bacon. She gestured slowly, “Only her.”
“I heard you’re her vocal teacher now,” the housekeeper said. She learned this from Lu Zhao while serving her breakfast.
“Hmm,” Sheng Jingyu nodded, not avoiding the topic.
The housekeeper’s face showed some delight. She approved, “That’s good.”
Sheng Jingyu slightly raised her eyes and asked, “How so?”
This housekeeper had been with Sheng Jingyu since childhood. They were master and servant, yet more than that. Her words were bold and intimate: “It’s not good for Miss to always be around people like us. Someone like Miss Lu truly belongs in Miss’s world.”
“Is that so?” Sheng Jingyu gestured faintly.
Her gaze was unclear and obscure.
It was like a question, or perhaps a sigh.
The housekeeper looked up at Lu Zhao in the pool, watching her vibrant energy. She said, “Miss Lu is like a sun. Miss Nian said Miss’s world needs a sun.”
The island always had endless winds. One gust stopped, and another rose the next second.
Perhaps tired, Lu Zhao swam toward the glass barrier with her back to them.
In the distance was the endless sea. Her straight, slender silhouette seemed especially small in this vast blue.
And lonely.
Ripples gently swirled around Lu Zhao’s body. Her wet hair coiled like a small snake down her back.
She leaned against the barrier, lifting her head, seemingly gazing at a world familiar to Sheng Jingyu but somewhat foreign to her.
In the silence, Sheng Jingyu asked the housekeeper, “But what about the sun’s world?”
The housekeeper froze.
She couldn’t answer immediately.
Sheng Jingyu didn’t wait for her response. She said, “You’re talking a lot today.”
Without tone, her words still conveyed displeasure.
The housekeeper realized she overstepped. She said, “I haven’t seen Miss in a long time.”
Sheng Jingyu had no intention of blaming her. Following her words, she instructed, “We’ll stay here a few days. Do your job well.”
“Yes,” the housekeeper nodded slightly, her attitude more serious than before.
Breakfast ended, and everyone in the villa retreated.
The vast place held only Sheng Jingyu and Lu Zhao.
Lu Zhao, tired from swimming, rested by the pool’s edge.
At this moment, Sheng Jingyu came downstairs again. Her bare feet stepped on the intricately patterned Moroccan tiles, the complex designs contrasting sharply with her pale legs.
Lu Zhao’s gaze inexplicably followed those long legs upward, only to be blocked by a bathrobe.
Sheng Jingyu had changed but wore a bathrobe over her clothes.
The sunlight fell unobstructed outdoors. The soft, loose white fabric covered everything.
Sheng Jingyu slowly looked toward Lu Zhao. A simple hair tie gathered her long hair, revealing her entire face. Her thick lashes caught golden light.
Her face was clean and clear.
The breeze gently stirred, lifting a few loose strands of Sheng Jingyu’s hair.
This added a lively realism to the scene, like a painting suddenly brought to life, calm yet captivating.
Lu Zhao paused, then enthusiastically waved, “Teacher!”
Her voice rose, as if facing something she had long anticipated.
Perhaps being alone here had been too dull.
The bow at her waist was untied. Sheng Jingyu looked at Lu Zhao, slowly removing her bathrobe.
The soft white fabric fell. Lu Zhao saw a color like mountain snow.
Sheng Jingyu’s swimsuit was far more reserved than Lu Zhao’s. The light chiffon fabric fluttered in the wind, faintly outlining her figure beneath.
The direct sunlight on the ground softened the sickly air around Sheng Jingyu.
She stood there, her tall figure perfectly proportioned. Every inch of her skin showed a faint flush, blending cool white with soft pink.
The sunlight traced her contours, rising and falling. Her flat abdomen had no excess fat.
Lu Zhao’s hand rested in the water. She didn’t know if the pool filled her hand or something else, but she felt her palm on Sheng Jingyu’s waist, sensing its warm, slender grip.
It felt so real, as if she had once boldly touched Sheng Jingyu’s waist.
How could that be…
Lu Zhao’s gaze lingered on Sheng Jingyu, growing deep and unfocused.
She seemed to search for something in the depths of her memory, chasing against the current.
“Lu Zhao.”
At that moment, gestured text appeared in Lu Zhao’s vision.
Sheng Jingyu noticed Lu Zhao’s distraction. Sitting by the pool, she called her.
Lu Zhao immediately snapped back to reality.
She saw Sheng Jingyu’s legs in the water. A mischievous urge stirred in her.
“Teacher, don’t wait anymore. Get in the water!”
As her words fell, Sheng Jingyu felt a warm, water-dripping touch at her waist.
Lu Zhao’s sly voice whispered in her ear. Before she could react, Lu Zhao pulled her into the water.
The pool was cool, but the arms pulling her down were warm.
Sheng Jingyu was unprepared in front of Lu Zhao. Water droplets hung on her thick, dense lashes. Her gray-silver eyes held a startled surprise, reflecting Lu Zhao’s face, so close.
The calmed water rippled again, like waves in a small sea.
The sea breeze blew through wet hair tips. The scent of grapes, with a bitter, sharp heat, escaped the waterproof suppressant patch.
With little distance, the two stood close.
The blazing sunlight fell in Lu Zhao’s eyes. The unsettled ripples broke the light into strange patterns, turning day into night.
The green grape scent drifted out with the rippling water, coming and going.
Lu Zhao firmly held Sheng Jingyu’s waist. In the cool water, their closeness made the warmth stand out.
Their shadows stretched long in the water, facing each other intimately.
Lu Zhao lowered her gaze, her eyes inexplicably locking on Sheng Jingyu’s lips.
She seemed to recall something or was driven by some unbanished subconscious urge.
Following the water’s ripples, she moved inch by inch toward Sheng Jingyu’s lips.
