After Transmigrating Into a Book, I Was Forced to Play the Role of a Scumbag Alpha (GL) - Chapter 31
Chapter 31
“Little Jin, I was wrong. Don’t cry. I’m sorry, I was too harsh. Don’t be mad.” Shen Hanzhi gently stroked the little girl’s back, comforting her.
The little girl felt something was off. She had been out of Rose Manor for several days, and through her time with Shen Hanzhi and the knowledge she gained from watching dramas, Wen Jin thought Shen Hanzhi’s behavior was strange. She scolded her once daily, apologized immediately with guilt, and comforted her, clearly caring about her. So why did her sister do this?
“Does Sister want to see me cry every day? That’s not right, is it?” Wen Jin couldn’t figure it out, but it didn’t stop her from crying. After all, when she cried, her sister felt sorry and pampered her more.
Wen Jin blinked, sniffled, and looked at Shen Hanzhi with grievance. “Sister, you scolded me again…”
“I’m sorry, I was wrong, Little Jin. Sister really knows she was wrong. Don’t blame me, okay?” Shen Hanzhi quickly comforted her, feeling guilty inside. The little white rabbit was so delicate; she must be so upset.
Wen Jin rubbed against Shen Hanzhi’s neck. As if recalling something, she looked at Shen Hanzhi’s cheek, her ears turning slightly red.
The little girl sniffled, leaned in, and pressed her soft lips to Shen Hanzhi’s cheek, kissing it while mumbling, “Wife, don’t scold me, okay? Little Jin will kiss you.”
Shen Hanzhi froze, feeling the warmth on her cheek. Her face visibly reddened.
She cleared her throat, pulled the little girl closer, and stammered, “No, Little Jin, who taught you this?”
“No one taught me. You’re my wife. When others upset their wife, they comfort her like this. Sister, don’t you like it?” The little girl sniffled again, looking at Shen Hanzhi with teary eyes.
Shen Hanzhi, knowing she was at fault first and seeing the little girl’s teary state, swallowed her words about not kissing casually and instead said, “I don’t dislike it. I love my Little Jin the most. If I kiss you, will you stop crying?”
Wen Jin tightened her arms around Shen Hanzhi’s neck, leaned in to kiss her right cheek, then buried her face in Shen Hanzhi’s chest, whimpering and acting spoiled. “Sister, kiss me, and I won’t cry.”
Shen Hanzhi’s heart softened at the little girl’s muffled tone. Knowing she had to act crazy daily and scold the little white rabbit for no reason, she felt guiltier and agreed to whatever the little girl said. A kiss seemed fine; in this world, marking was likely the most intimate act.
“Okay, I’ll kiss my little rabbit.” Shen Hanzhi said softly, one hand on the little girl’s lower back, the other supporting her neck, leaning forward to kiss the little girl’s dimple.
Kissed by Shen Hanzhi, the little girl’s face turned bright red with shyness. She buried her head in Shen Hanzhi’s chest, hugging her waist tightly and rubbing gently. She loved her sister kissing her but felt shy.
Seeing the little girl’s shyness, Shen Hanzhi stroked her back to comfort her. “Little rabbit, you’re not mad now, right?”
“Yes, Sister, hug me more.” The little girl rubbed her cheek against Shen Hanzhi’s neck, wanting to be closer but too shy to kiss on the lips.
Wen Jin nestled comfortably in Shen Hanzhi’s arms, thinking she’d take things slowly since her sister seemed to make her cry daily.
Shen Hanzhi didn’t know the little white rabbit had figured out her pattern. She hugged the little rabbit, leaned back against the bed’s headboard, and asked softly, “Want to watch cartoons together?”
The little girl whimpered, rubbed against Shen Hanzhi’s chest, and said with grievance, “I want to watch dramas. I’m an adult.”
Shen Hanzhi saw the little girl’s long, cute eyelashes and poked her dimple, coaxing, “Even as an adult, you need to take it slow. There’s so much knowledge outside you haven’t learned. Watching too much at once is hard to process. Let’s watch Peppa Pig together, okay?”
Seeing her sister insist, Wen Jin nodded obediently. She could watch dramas on her own anyway.
Shen Hanzhi, pleased with the little rabbit’s compliance, rubbed her head and said softly, “My little white rabbit is so good.”
Hearing her sister call her that, Wen Jin hugged Shen Hanzhi tightly, acting spoiled. She pursed her lips, wondering when she could be more intimate with her sister.
Shen Hanzhi started Peppa Pig, and they watched eagerly. Around nine, Shen Hanzhi thought the little girl should sleep. She rubbed her head and said softly, “It’s late. Let’s watch the rest tomorrow when we have time, okay?”
“Okay.” The little girl agreed, whimpering and reluctant to leave Shen Hanzhi’s arms.
Shen Hanzhi looked at the little lazy rabbit in her arms, her eyes full of gentleness. “Little Jin, I’m going to sleep too. Sleep well on your own, okay?”
“Sister, won’t you stay with me?” The little girl buried her face deeper in Shen Hanzhi’s chest, her nose rubbing against Shen Hanzhi’s neck, acting spoiled. She remembered the drama’s junior doing this, then getting hugged and kissed by the senior.
Shen Hanzhi, tickled by the little girl’s rubbing, gently pushed her away a bit and laughed. “Alright, little rabbit, you need to sleep early. Good night, I’m going.”
“Good night, Sister.” The little girl looked at Shen Hanzhi with grievance and said good night.
Shen Hanzhi touched the little girl’s dimple, smiled at her, and said, “Good night.”
Then, Shen Hanzhi walked to the door.
Wen Jin saw Shen Hanzhi leave, waited a few minutes, and, seeing she didn’t return, took out her phone. She wanted Shen Hanzhi to hold her but also wanted her to leave so she could watch the senior-junior drama and learn secretly.
Wen Jin opened the video and played the next episode. This one was at the senior’s house, a large villa with only a maid for cooking and cleaning, as her parents managed a company out of town and rarely returned.
As Wen Jin watched, the junior and senior were doing homework in a room, each working on their papers, with only the sound of pens scratching paper.
The junior wrote for a while, stopped, and looked at the person beside her. She was right there, yet the senior didn’t glance at her.
The junior moved her chair closer, leaned her head on the senior’s shoulder, but the senior kept writing without a word.
Seeing the senior ignore her, the junior grew bolder, her nose rubbing against the senior’s neck. Still ignored, she moved her chair back a bit, her nose grazing the senior’s gland behind her neck, releasing a sweet scent. The senior finally put down her pen.
She grabbed the junior’s wrist, pulling her closer. “Can’t you behave? Can’t you wait until I finish this set?”
“Sister, you’re ignoring me.” The junior looked at the senior innocently.
The senior’s lips curved slightly, but she lifted the junior. “You stop when you cry today.”
The camera panned to boiling water in the kitchen, accompanied by broken gasps.
Later, the camera returned to the room. The junior, whimpering in the senior’s arms, said, “Sister, I won’t dare next time.”
The senior, smiling, gently wiped tears from the junior’s face, her touch soft but her gaze fixed on her prey. “You’re cuter when you cry.”
Wen Jin, seeing the boiling water, was confused again. Fresh from Rose Manor, she didn’t know metaphors, finding the scene shift odd. But the senior’s words hit the mark! She got it!
Her sister made her cry daily too. Did she also think she was cuter crying? Wen Jin felt she was close to the truth, her heart suddenly happy. She kept watching.
In the second half, the senior pampered the junior, carrying her to bathe, feeding her, and granting every request—exactly like how her sister treated her after making her cry.
Wen Jin felt enlightened. Her sister made her cry, then treated her better, pampering her. She sorted it out, her heart sweet like honey. The drama taught her that her sister, like the senior, liked making their partner cry—it must be a wife thing.
Feeling she solved a big mystery, Wen Jin happily turned off her phone and lay down to sleep.
Meanwhile, Shen Hanzhi contacted the little girl’s teacher, arranging for her to come at 8:30 the next morning. She had no idea what drama the little white rabbit watched in her absence.
Shen Hanzhi arranged the teacher and the charity banquet for the next evening, where she and the little girl would make an appearance. She confirmed the clothing and hairstylist for the afternoon, then put down her phone to sleep.
The next morning, Shen Hanzhi woke to her alarm. Usually, she slept until she woke naturally before getting Wen Jin, but with the teacher coming, she had to get up on time.
Shen Hanzhi washed up in the bathroom and went to Wen Jin’s room at 7:30 to wake her.
She knocked lightly, got no response, turned the handle, and opened the door slightly. The little girl was curled up like a crescent moon, not hearing the knock.
Shen Hanzhi shook her head with a chuckle. The little rabbit could really sleep.
She walked slowly to the bed, careful not to startle her, gently nudged the little rabbit, and called softly, “Little Jin, time to get up. The teacher I got for you is coming soon. Wash up, eat breakfast, and it’ll be time to meet her.”
Pushed a few times, the little girl finally opened her misty eyes, looking at Shen Hanzhi with grievance. “Sister, I’m not awake yet.”
