After Transmigrating Into a Book, I Was Forced to Play the Role of a Scumbag Alpha (GL) - Chapter 35
Chapter 35
Little Bunny stared intently at the screen, afraid to miss anything, watching more seriously than she did during lessons with Lu Wenzhu in the daytime.
However, in the scene she just watched, where the senior and junior were in a private room, Little Bunny still didn’t understand what they were doing. She even curiously rewound and watched it again, vaguely feeling something was off. The two weren’t just kissing; they definitely did something else, or they wouldn’t have been panting so heavily! It must have been something very exhausting, Little Bunny analyzed, pursing her lips.
She rolled on the bed twice, hummed, and thought for a long time but still couldn’t figure it out, so she gave up.
Dutifully setting her alarm, Wen Jin prepared to wake up early to study hard, because Sister was so outstanding, and she wanted to become outstanding too!
The little girl woke up early in the morning, finished washing up, and it was only seven o’clock; Shen Hanzhi hadn’t gotten up yet.
These days, the little girl had grown close to Shen Hanzhi, and her courage gradually increased. Before, she didn’t dare go to Shen Hanzhi’s room, but now she dared to quietly turn the doorknob and push the door open.
Little Bunny peeked through the door crack, saw Shen Hanzhi still sleeping in bed, and slowly walked over, sitting by the bed to watch Shen Hanzhi for a while. Then she carefully nudged Shen Hanzhi a few times, saying, “Sister, wake up, it’s seven o’clock.”
Shen Hanzhi, still groggy from sleep, heard Little Bunny’s voice, instinctively pulled Little Bunny into her arms, and slowly opened her eyes, saying, “Little Jin? Why are you up so early today?”
Just as Shen Hanzhi finished speaking, Little Bunny kissed her cheek, saying, “Sister, morning kiss. I want to learn from Teacher Lu quickly and become as amazing as Sister.”
Shen Hanzhi rubbed the top of the little girl’s head, thinking Little Bunny’s courage had really grown; she dared to kiss her like that. This showed that Shen Hanzhi had taken good care of Little Bunny during this time. Once she earned enough “bad alpha” points, she definitely wouldn’t end up as miserably as in the original story.
“Little Bunny, wait a bit, I’ll go wash up,” Shen Hanzhi said, poking the little girl’s dimple with a smile.
“Okay,” the little girl replied, watching Shen Hanzhi go into the bathroom. She lay on Shen Hanzhi’s bed, rolled twice, and felt a faint lychee scent, unsure if it was her imagination. She buried her face in Shen Hanzhi’s summer blanket, sniffed hard a few times, and the lychee scent seemed stronger.
Like a kitten high on catnip, the little girl felt a bit dizzy.
When Shen Hanzhi came out of the bathroom, dressed, she saw the little girl lying on the bed, fiddling with something.
“Little Jin, what are you doing? Let’s go eat breakfast,” Shen Hanzhi said, quickly walking to the bed. Seeing the little girl lazily lying there, Shen Hanzhi leaned down, propped her arms on either side of the little girl, and gently kissed her dimple, saying with a smile, “Little Bunny, good morning.”
The little girl froze from Shen Hanzhi’s sudden kiss, her heart beating faster and faster, as if out of her control, pounding like it wanted to jump out. Her ear tips and cheeks flushed red; it was the first time Sister kissed her in this position, and she kind of liked it.
Seeing Little Bunny didn’t move, Shen Hanzhi poked her cheek again, saying, “Get up, Little Jin, what are you thinking about?”
The little girl hummed, got up softly, and leaned into Shen Hanzhi’s arms, acting like she couldn’t walk. Her legs did feel weak; Sister’s kiss was so charming that her legs didn’t listen to her. Now she understood why the junior in the show always had weak legs—she totally related!
Seeing Little Bunny’s soft appearance, Shen Hanzhi pulled Wen Jin into her arms, rubbed her lower back, and noticed the little girl seemed even softer.
Shen Hanzhi shook her head with a chuckle, bent down, and picked up the little girl in a bridal carry, saying, “Alright, I’ll carry Little Bunny downstairs to eat.”
“I can walk myself,” the little girl mumbled softly, her voice quieter than a mosquito’s wings, burying her face in Shen Hanzhi’s arms.
When Shen Hanzhi carried the little girl downstairs, Liu Fang had just returned from dropping her daughter off at school. As she entered the first-floor hall, she saw Shen Hanzhi carrying Wen Jin down.
At first, Liu Fang wanted to ask if Little Jin had sprained her ankle.
She took a step forward, but Yang Man, who was setting breakfast on the table, coughed lightly and gave Liu Fang a look.
Liu Fang got the hint and didn’t move closer.
Shen Hanzhi, holding the little girl, smiled and greeted Liu Fang, saying, “Aunt Liu, you’re back from dropping Liu Can off?”
“Yes, I’m back,” Aunt Liu replied awkwardly.
Hearing Aunt Liu, the little girl shyly buried her entire face in Shen Hanzhi’s arms, her ear tips bright red.
Shen Hanzhi teased her on purpose, saying, “Didn’t you just act spoiled and ask me to carry you? Why are you shy now?”
“Sister, I’m hungry,” the little girl said, too shy to look up, using hunger to brush off Shen Hanzhi, hoping she’d quickly carry her to the dining room. Being seen by Aunt Liu was too embarrassing.
Aunt Liu glanced back at the dining room, feeling like she’d become part of President Shen and Little Jin’s play.
After breakfast, Wen Jin followed Lu Wenzhu to the study to learn, while Shen Hanzhi had company matters and went to the office early.
While Liu Fang, Yang Man, and Song Meihong cleaned the villa, Liu Fang recalled the morning and asked, “Does President Shen often carry Little Jin around the villa?”
“Yes, she treasures her. That’s why I gave you a look. They’re a couple building their bond, so we just pretend we don’t see it and don’t disturb them,” Yang Man said knowingly.
“True, it’s good they’re close,” Liu Fang said, her smile widening. After observing these days, she felt President Shen genuinely cared for Little Jin, and she could rest a bit easier.
Little Jin had a tough life for her first ten-plus years, never living well, but now she’d finally made it, and Liu Fang was happy for her.
Shen Hanzhi told the company’s finance department they no longer needed to pay dividends to Shen Yuanshu, Shen Jianshe, or Shen Jiancai and gathered evidence to report them to the police, as they still hadn’t returned the over ten million they owed.
Zhang Lilin felt uneasy these days, sensing Shen Hanzhi’s hiring of two new secretaries was a hint at something.
Though she held some power now, it was all given by Shen Hanzhi, who could take it back. Yet she had to train the new secretaries, or it would raise Shen Hanzhi’s suspicions.
Shen Hanzhi used to trust her, but since marrying Wen Jin, her approach had changed. Zhang Lilin gritted her teeth, staring at Shen Hanzhi’s office door for a long time.
Shen Hanzhi planned to come to the company on time these days, as she was about to clean out some people and needed to stay in charge to avoid trouble.
She called Wen Jin, telling her she wouldn’t be back for lunch and to eat well.
After hanging up, Shen Hanzhi called Zhang Ming, instructing him to have the legal department report to the police. Her uncle and grandfather seemed to think she was just bluffing, but she wasn’t the original Shen Hanzhi and wouldn’t care about family ties—parasites needed to be kicked out of the company early.
When the little girl got Shen Hanzhi’s call, she felt deflated; she hadn’t seen Shen Hanzhi all morning and missed her.
Her lesson had just ended, and after hesitating, she called Shen Hanzhi, saying she missed her and wanted to bring lunch.
Shen Hanzhi had just finished instructing the legal department about Shen Jianshe and Shen Jiancai’s past leaks of company information, preparing to sue. Then she got Little Bunny’s call, asking, “Little Jin? What’s up?”
“Sister, have you eaten lunch? I want to bring you food,” Little Bunny said sweetly.
Shen Hanzhi’s smile grew; she hadn’t petted Little Bunny all morning. “Okay, have Wang Haichuan drive you over, and bring Zhang Hao too.”
“Okay, I’ll ask Aunt Yang to prepare extra so I can eat with you,” Wen Jin said softly, acting spoiled with Shen Hanzhi, who couldn’t resist.
“Alright, call me when you arrive, and I’ll come down to get you,” Shen Hanzhi said.
“No need, Sister, I’ll come up myself. Wait for me,” Wen Jin said happily.
“Fine, I’ll wait for my Little Bunny,” Shen Hanzhi said, her fingers tapping the desk lightly, smiling.
The little girl hurriedly told Yang Man, who prepared insulated lunch boxes with Shen Hanzhi and Wen Jin’s meals.
Wen Jin told Zhang Hao and Wang Haichuan, and they quickly got in the car.
At the company, Zhang Hao accompanied the little girl inside, while Wang Haichuan parked.
Wen Jin told the receptionist she was delivering lunch to Shen Hanzhi. The receptionist called Shen Hanzhi’s secretary, and Zhang Lilin answered, her brows furrowing tightly before saying, “Got it, I’ll come down to get them.”
The receptionist smiled at Wen Jin, saying, “Please wait a moment, Secretary Zhang will come down to get you.”
“Okay, thank you,” the little girl said, smiling back.
Soon, Zhang Lilin came out of the elevator, her gaze sweeping over Wen Jin and then Zhang Hao. “You’re President Shen’s bodyguard, right? The company is safe. I’ll take Miss Wen up.”
Zhang Hao nodded, saying, “Miss Wen, call me or Wang Haichuan when you’re ready to leave.”
“Okay,” Wen Jin nodded.
“Miss Wen, follow me,” Zhang Lilin said, her brows slightly furrowed, leading the way to the elevator.
Wen Jin, who had only ridden straight elevators a few times at the mall, curiously looked around. Zhang Lilin spoke up.
“I heard Miss Wen’s background is poor, and you barely know any words. If that’s true, I suggest you come to the company less to avoid mistakes that embarrass President Shen,” Zhang Lilin said bluntly, as it was just the two of them in the elevator.
“Sister found me a teacher, and I’m studying hard. I won’t embarrass Sister. Besides, Sister likes me and wants me to come,” the little girl explained earnestly, thinking Sister was her wife, so it wasn’t Zhang’s place to worry.
Zhang Lilin scoffed, saying, “You think President Shen will always treat you well? She’s just curious for now. Before marrying you, she often went to bars and clubs, with more omegas around her than you have clothes. When she loses interest, she’ll move on.”
“Huh? But Sister is very interested in me. She loves holding me at home. Secretary Zhang, are you jealous?” the little girl asked seriously, having learned the word “jealous” from Lu Wenzhu during a pinyin lesson yesterday and using it now.
Zhang Lilin clenched her fists in anger, saying, “Look out for yourself. Why would I be jealous of an illiterate?”
“Yes, you would. I have Sister as my wife, and you don’t,” the little girl answered sincerely.
Zhang Lilin was too angry to speak, thinking Wen Jin was supposed to be a clueless, out-of-touch fool. Why did it feel like Wen Jin was sarcastically mocking her with that sincere tone?
Fuming, Zhang Lilin got off the elevator and pointed to the largest office at the corridor’s end, saying, “That’s it. Go yourself.”
“Okay, thank you,” the little girl said politely.
She walked slowly to the door, knocked lightly, and said, “Sister, I brought you lunch.”
Hearing the little girl’s voice, Shen Hanzhi quickly got up, opened the door, and pulled Wen Jin into her arms, closing the door.
“Is Little Bunny this clingy?” Shen Hanzhi asked, taking the food from the little girl and leading her to the sofa.
Shen Hanzhi set the bag on the coffee table. As she sat, the little girl sat face-to-face on her lap, wrapping her arms around Shen Hanzhi’s neck.
Shen Hanzhi wore a suit skirt and a white floral blouse today, while the little girl wore a moon-white long dress. At home, this position felt fine, but in the office, Shen Hanzhi felt something was off.
She wanted to tell the little girl not to sit like this outside, but before she could speak, the little girl snuggled into her arms, looking aggrieved, saying, “Sister, does Secretary Zhang dislike me? She told me to come to the company less, saying I’d embarrass you.”
The little girl’s eyes were red, and she sniffled, not really upset by Zhang Lilin’s words but wanting Sister to comfort her, as Zhang was just an unimportant outsider.
Seeing Little Bunny upset, Shen Hanzhi forgot about lecturing her and said softly, “No way, Little Jin, how could I ever dislike you? As for Secretary Zhang, I’m already arranging for someone to replace her. In a few months, I’ll fire her, okay? Don’t be mad. She’s just an unimportant passerby.”
“Okay, Sister, I’m scared,” the little girl said, nuzzling into Shen Hanzhi’s neck, acting spoiled.
Shen Hanzhi rubbed the little girl’s waist dimple, saying softly, “Don’t be scared. Next time you come, call me, and I’ll come down to get you, my Mrs. Shen, okay?”
“Okay,” the little girl hummed, still not moving.
Shen Hanzhi lightly patted the little girl’s back, but she hummed and didn’t budge.
Shen Hanzhi chuckled and shook her head, thinking, is she asking to be comforted again?
She gently pushed the little girl back a bit, exposing her face, and kissed her right cheek dimple, then her left cheek and forehead. The little girl tilted her chin up cooperatively, and Shen Hanzhi kissed her chin, satisfying her.
Since Shen Hanzhi had worn lipstick that morning, though it had faded, it left four or five marks on the little girl’s face.
Amused, Shen Hanzhi held the little girl’s face with both hands, kissed her forehead again, and said, “Little Jin, go look in the bathroom. You’ve turned into a little flower bunny.”
The little girl hummed a few times, looking pitifully at Shen Hanzhi, saying, “I can’t walk.”
Shen Hanzhi laughed, picked up the little girl, and carried her to the bathroom. In front of the mirror, the little girl saw her face covered with Shen Hanzhi’s lipstick marks.
Shyly, the little girl turned and buried her face in Shen Hanzhi’s arms, saying, “Sister, you’re bullying me.”
“No way, you’re even cuter with the marks. Now, wash your face, and let’s eat,” Shen Hanzhi said, coaxing Little Bunny to wash her face.
They set the lunch boxes on the coffee table and ate together.
Seeing Little Bunny eat cutely, Shen Hanzhi’s lips curved slightly, thinking raising a pet really could make one happy.
After lunch, Shen Hanzhi told Little Bunny to rest in her lounge, but Little Bunny clung to her, wanting her to stay. Shen Hanzhi napped with her until two o’clock, then woke her, telling Wang Haichuan and Zhang Hao to wait at the door since the little girl had afternoon lessons.
Still sleepy, Little Bunny hummed softly, even more delicate. Shen Hanzhi held her, coaxing her while leading her to the elevator, escorting her to the company entrance, and watching her get in the car before returning to work.
At around five in the afternoon, Wen Jin finished her lesson, having started learning multiplication and division and nearly memorized the multiplication table. Lu Wenzhu left, and the little girl changed into pajamas in her room. Seeing lipsticks on the vanity in the bathroom, she recalled noon and felt sweet inside.
After dinner with Shen Hanzhi, the little girl waited in her room, already bathed.
When Shen Hanzhi came out, Wen Jin was leaning on the bed’s headboard cushion, playing a matching game.
Shen Hanzhi gathered her emotions, as she hadn’t earned her “bad alpha” points for the day.
Seeing Shen Hanzhi stand silently by the bed, the little girl guessed what was coming and prepared herself.
Sure enough, Shen Hanzhi spoke, saying, “I told you to squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom up. Why do you always start from the middle?”
Shen Hanzhi’s tone was stern, her expression cold and scary. After speaking, she looked at the little girl, who forced out a few tears.
The little girl thought Sister’s reasons for getting mad were getting weirder, but she cooperatively cried.
Shen Hanzhi felt so awkward her toes curled, but thankfully, the system in her mind confirmed success, and she sighed in relief.
Next came Shen Hanzhi’s routine of comforting the little girl. Little Bunny insisted on over a dozen kisses before she was satisfied, letting Shen Hanzhi hold her to watch cartoons.
Shen Hanzhi looked down at Little Bunny in her arms, seeing her watch intently, sometimes asking about words in the subtitles.
After watching the show, Shen Hanzhi was allowed back to her room. Once she left, Little Bunny quickly grabbed her phone, eager to continue watching the senior and junior’s story.
Little Bunny opened the video app excitedly.
On the screen, club members left the private rooms, but it was past ten, after the school’s curfew, so they looked for nearby hotels in groups.
The senior, a lone wolf, wasn’t approached to share a room, while the junior got many omega invitations but declined, saying she had things to do.
Soon, most people left. The senior quickly walked to a high-end hotel nearby, with the junior following far behind.
Near the hotel, the senior stopped to wait. The hotel cost over a thousand a night, unaffordable for most students, so they wouldn’t run into acquaintances.
The junior caught up, sweetly calling, “Sister.”
The senior nodded slightly, took the junior’s ID, and went to book a room, reserving a large-bed room.
The hotel’s large-bed room was luxurious and clean. As soon as they entered, the senior pinned the junior against the door.
The junior delicately hooked her arms around the senior’s neck, saying, “Sister, you were too rough earlier. My legs still have no strength.”
The senior’s lips curved in a slight smile, kissing the junior’s ear tip, saying, “That’s why you need more exercise. Just twice, and you’re out of strength.”
The next moment, the junior was kissed speechless.
The little girl watched the senior and junior enviously, wondering when she and Sister could kiss like that.
Deflated, she rolled on the bed a few times and pressed play again.
On the screen, clothes were scattered messily on the high-end carpet. The two kissed their way into the bathroom, where indistinct panting, the junior’s intermittent cooing, and the sound of running water mixed. The little girl couldn’t hear clearly.
“Sister, not in front of the mirror,呜呜~” the junior’s voice came intermittently, soon drowned by the water.
The little girl didn’t understand again. Why not in front of the mirror? Wasn’t it just a shower? Why was the junior panting like that? Wen Jin was completely confused.
“Sister, it’s cold up here, no more,” the junior’s voice came through the water, sounding even softer.
“Don’t like it here? Let’s go to the bathtub then,” the senior said, her voice no longer cool but a bit urgent, followed by the sound of dripping water.
The sound of water lasted a long time. The little girl felt something was off but didn’t understand. She couldn’t keep asking Aunt Liu about these things. Annoyed, she rolled on the bed, muttering, “What’s that? They didn’t show it clearly. What happened in the bathroom?”
But no one answered her. The scene jumped to the next morning. The junior seemed drained, with the senior helping her dress. After breakfast, the junior, still feeling off, checked out with the senior.
Seeing the junior’s discomfort, the senior recalled her actions last night and said softly, “Shall I take you back? If others find out, so be it. You’re my girlfriend.”
The junior raised an eyebrow, shook her head, and said, “No, it’s less fun if everyone knows. Don’t you think it’s more exciting this way?”
The senior’s eyes darkened, thinking if they were in bed, the little kitten wouldn’t dare say that.
