After Transmigrating Into a Book, I Was Forced to Play the Role of a Scumbag Alpha (GL) - Chapter 53
Chapter 53
At the end of June, Wen Jin began applying to schools. Her score allowed her to apply to a good junior college. On the day she filled out her application, Little Jin nestled in Shen Hanzhi’s arms. She chose Nandu University’s horticultural technology program as her first choice, followed by several nearby universities, and used Nandu City Agricultural Junior College as a safety net to ensure she’d get into a school.
After finalizing everything, Little Jin clicked submit. Shen Hanzhi pulled Little Jin closer, kissed her ear tip, and said, “Our Little Jin is now a college student.”
Little Jin buried her face in Shen Hanzhi’s arms, rubbed against her, and said, “Sister, I don’t want to live in the dorm. I can’t sleep without you holding me at night.”
Shen Hanzhi looked at the mumbling Little Jin in her arms, her heart melting. She kissed Little Jin’s lips and said softly, “Okay, no dorm. I’ll pick up my Little Jin every day.”
“Okay,” the little girl said, nuzzling into Shen Hanzhi’s arms to act spoiled.
“Sister, we haven’t finished that TV drama,” Little Jin said, leisurely sitting in Shen Hanzhi’s arms, acting spoiled.
Shen Hanzhi grabbed the nearby tablet, pinched Little Jin’s cheek, and laughed. “Little bad rabbit, you secretly watched a lot of dramas before, yet you act like you don’t understand anything.”
Shen Hanzhi leaned over, lightly bit Little Jin’s lower lip, and then kissed it.
Little Jin rubbed her nose against Shen Hanzhi’s neck, acting spoiled. “I didn’t. I watched back then but didn’t understand. Those scenes always cut away at the key moments.”
Shen Hanzhi hugged Little Jin closer and laughed. “And now? Does Little Jin understand everything?”
The little girl, ears red, glared at Shen Hanzhi and buried herself in her arms. “It’s all your fault, Sister.”
Shen Hanzhi gently stroked Little Jin’s back and said softly, “Is it? Who wore that bunny lingerie the other day?”
Little Jin mumbled and kissed Shen Hanzhi to stop her from saying more.
Shen Hanzhi laughed, held Little Jin tightly, and opened the tablet. “Alright, I won’t say more. If I do, a certain little rabbit will get upset. Let’s watch the drama.”
Shen Hanzhi thought, since the little girl understood everything now, they’d pick something exciting to watch and maybe learn from it. So, she opened the top-ranked business war drama.
Looking at the ranking, Shen Hanzhi chuckled softly. People probably didn’t care about the business war part; the exciting setting was the draw.
In the scene, Stepmom left Big Sister’s room and ran into Father, who had just arrived.
Father only saw Stepmom in the hallway, not coming out of Big Sister’s room. Seeing her disheveled dress and sweaty hair, he frowned unhappily, lowered his voice, and said, “What’s wrong with you? You didn’t even change properly before coming out. I warn you, know your role. Embarrass me, and you know the consequences.”
“Sorry, sir, I’ll go change now,” Stepmom said, turning to return to her room. She nearly stumbled, still sore and weak from earlier. Big Sister saw Father enter the courtyard on her phone’s surveillance, so Stepmom hurriedly dressed, still uncleaned, legs barely holding her up. She couldn’t let Father notice anything, so she gritted her teeth and walked back to her room.
Father frowned, gave her a cold look, and entered his room. In the past, he might have been drawn to her, but now, lacking that ability, he had no interest in such things. To him, Stepmom was just a decorative tool, someone to show off for face.
Stepmom returned to her room, collapsed on the bed, sniffled, cried softly, and cursed under her breath. “Jerk, you don’t care about me after you’re done. I told you he was coming back, and you still bullied me. I’m done with that jerk.”
She grabbed a clean nightgown and dragged her tired body to the bathroom.
Big Sister sat on the bed, still unsatisfied. Father’s return was poorly timed. Once she took charge, it’d be time to send Father abroad to retire.
That evening, the family ate a reunion dinner, each with their own thoughts, then dispersed. Past nine, Second Sister went to get water and saw Third Sister eating a fruit salad in the living room.
Third Sister noticed Second Sister, picked up her fruit plate, and walked to the kitchen.
Seeing Third Sister leave, Second Sister hurried downstairs to the kitchen.
Third Sister glanced at her, put the plate in the sink, and said softly, “Why’d you follow? This is the kitchen. Don’t mess around.”
Second Sister blocked Third Sister’s path and chuckled lightly. “What’re you thinking? Am I the type to mess around?”
Third Sister raised an eyebrow and asked, “Aren’t you?”
“Fine, since you say so, wouldn’t I be at a loss if I didn’t do something?” Second Sister said, kissed Third Sister’s lips, and lifted her onto the counter.
Third Sister pushed her urgently. “Are you crazy? This is the kitchen. What if someone comes?”
Second Sister leisurely lifted Third Sister’s skirt and laughed. “It’s this late. Who’d come down? Be good, and I’ll carry you back later.”
“Who needs you to carry…” Third Sister’s words were kissed away. The camera panned outside, and rustling sounds came from the kitchen, followed by a series of suppressed gasps.
Big Sister left her room, went to the second-floor water dispenser, and noticed someone in the kitchen downstairs. Holding her cup, she stood by the railing, looked for a moment, and saw two people leave the kitchen, one carried in the other’s arms.
Big Sister paused slightly. Her second and third sisters didn’t seem innocent either.
Second Sister saw Big Sister looking down and looked back. Third Sister tugged at Second Sister’s clothes, panicking, wanting to be put down.
Second Sister didn’t, calmly walking upstairs, even greeting Big Sister with a smile. “Sister, still up this late?”
“Yeah, getting water. Heading back now,” Big Sister said, nodding faintly without extra words.
Second Sister nodded back, carrying Third Sister to their room.
Big Sister shook her head with a laugh. The family was getting more interesting; her sisters weren’t even hiding from her anymore.
She walked down the hallway with her cup, not to her room, but to knock on Stepmom’s door. Stepmom knew who it was without thinking but feared suspicion if she didn’t open it. She opened the door and saw Big Sister smiling at her.
Stepmom tried to close the door, but Big Sister slipped in, chuckling lightly. “Why’s Stepmom in such a hurry? Not inviting me in?”
Stepmom’s eyes reddened, still upset from the afternoon, nearly exposed in front of Big Sister’s father.
Big Sister knew she’d been impulsive. She set her cup aside, sat beside Stepmom, and coaxed softly, “I didn’t mean to bully you this afternoon. I was jealous seeing you with him. I genuinely like you, not playing with your feelings.”
Stepmom glared at her, eyes teary. “Then why treat me like that? I told you your father was coming, and you still bullied me.”
Big Sister pulled Stepmom into her arms, holding the slightly struggling woman tighter. “Okay, my fault. The family’s messy now. Once I take over from Grandpa, it’ll get better. I’ll send my dad abroad to retire, and you’ll be my wife.”
Stepmom, eyes red, sniffled. “You’re just sweet-talking me. You were too rough this afternoon. I’m still uncomfortable.”
Stepmom leaned into Big Sister’s arms, acting spoiled and aggrieved. Big Sister hurriedly coaxed, “Sorry, I get upset seeing you with Dad. I overdid it. Let me check if it’s bad.”
“You dare?” Stepmom raised an eyebrow, glaring at Big Sister.
“Okay, I won’t look. Are you mad I didn’t carry you to bathe or change this afternoon? I won’t pick such rushed times next time,” Big Sister said softly, a far cry from the afternoon when she pinned Stepmom against the door.
“You better not, or I really won’t talk to you,” Stepmom said, resting in Big Sister’s arms, then pushed her. “Go back. If your dad sees, it’ll be trouble.”
“Worried about me?” Big Sister kissed Stepmom’s lips and teased.
“Who’s worried? I’m afraid you’ll drag me down. Go, go,” Stepmom said, pushing Big Sister again.
Big Sister held her, kissed her for a while, then stood and laughed. “Alright, I’ll listen to Stepmom. Good night.”
After Big Sister left, Stepmom, face red, muttered, “Always teasing me. Why call me Stepmom with no outsiders around?”
The next day at the company, Second Sister went to Big Sister’s office. They talked for a long time before leaving, both smiling. Second Sister knew her chances of controlling the company were slim. Between Big Brother and Big Sister, she chose Big Sister. Big Sister was far better in business than the playboy Big Brother, and her character was much better too.
She chose someone with good character who she liked. That way, she and Third Sister could live comfortably in the company, at least financially secure. With Big Brother’s vindictive nature, if he took over, she and Third Sister would be kicked out.
Little Jin looked at Shen Hanzhi, pointed at the screen, and said, “Sister, Big Sister and Stepmom seem pretty good together.”
“Little bad rabbit, did you used to wait for me to leave, then secretly watch these in your room?” Shen Hanzhi asked, pinching Little Jin’s cheek and laughing.
“Yeah, but I didn’t understand then. I didn’t dare ask you. I looked online, but netizens said stuff I couldn’t follow,” Little Jin said, smiling at Shen Hanzhi.
Shen Hanzhi rubbed Little Jin’s lower back and laughed. “Did Little Jin understand the kitchen scene with Second Sister and Third Sister just now?”
Wen Jin’s face flushed, and she buried it in Shen Hanzhi’s arms. “Sister, don’t bully me like that, or I won’t talk to you.”
Shen Hanzhi rubbed Little Jin’s lower back, coaxing softly, “We can do it at night when no one’s around. We’ll lock the kitchen door. No one will disturb us. Haven’t we done it in the kitchen yet? Like in the show, isn’t that exciting?”
Little Jin, shy but tempted by Shen Hanzhi’s coaxing, rubbed her face against Shen Hanzhi’s neck and softly said, “Okay.”
Hearing Little Jin agree, Shen Hanzhi laughed, pressed her close, and kissed her. “I knew my Little Jin is the best.”
Little Jin mumbled, ears red as bl00d. Sister was getting naughtier. Last time was the office, now the kitchen. But she couldn’t resist the temptation. Sister’s skills were so good; though tiring, it always felt amazing.
Shen Hanzhi set the tablet aside, hugged Little Jin, and lay on the bed. Little Jin mumbled, nuzzling Shen Hanzhi to act spoiled.
Shen Hanzhi rubbed Little Jin’s back, chuckled lightly, and asked, “What’s the little bad rabbit thinking? Smiling so happily?”
The little girl’s eyes sparkled as she looked at Shen Hanzhi, then kissed her chin and lips.
Past nine at night, Shen Hanzhi saw the living room was empty, carried Little Jin out of the room. Thinking about what was to come, Little Jin’s ears turned bright red, her face buried in Shen Hanzhi’s arms, too shy to look up.
Shen Hanzhi laughed at the shy Little Jin, slowly carried her downstairs, and placed her on the kitchen counter. She locked the kitchen door, pulled the curtains, and returned to Little Jin’s side.
Wen Jin looked at Shen Hanzhi shyly, slightly regretting it. “Sister, maybe we should go back to the room.”
“Trying to run now? No way. Be good, Little Jin,” Shen Hanzhi said, pulling Little Jin closer and kissing her.
In the kitchen, the little girl didn’t dare make loud noises, enduring quietly while being teased. When Shen Hanzhi carried her back, Little Jin only had the strength to lean softly in her arms.

Compared to the lightheartedness at Shen Hanzhi’s side, Liu Can spoke much less lately. She didn’t even want to watch cartoons, just drew or sat in the yard staring blankly. Liu Fang, seeing her daughter like this, felt heartbroken.
One evening, Liu Fang pulled Liu Can to talk in the yard. She hesitated before speaking. “Little Can, are you still sad about that? I know it’s cruel, but if I didn’t stop it, you’d be even sadder later.”
“Mom, I understand. I’ve been good. Sister hasn’t come to see me either,” Liu Can said, eyes slightly red. She continued, “I haven’t called her. She probably won’t come play with me anymore.”
“You’ve barely talked lately,” Liu Fang said, worried about her daughter.
“Mom, I’m going to draw in my room,” Liu Can said, standing to walk to her room.
Liu Fang closed her eyes briefly, thinking of her daughter’s future, and sighed. If she were gone, what would happen to Liu Can? Would a care facility treat her well? Would the money be used properly for her? With her childlike intelligence, what if someone bullied her or the facility cheated her money?

By late July, Little Jin received an admission notice from Nandu University’s junior college program. She happily showed it to Shen Hanzhi. Shen Hanzhi kissed Little Jin in her arms and laughed. “My Little Jin is a college student now. Amazing.”
“Sister, take me to report,” Little Jin said, mumbling and nuzzling Shen Hanzhi to act spoiled.
“Okay, I’ll keep an eye on my Little Jin,” Shen Hanzhi said, pinching Little Jin’s cheek and laughing. After all, freshmen often faced eager upperclassmen.
On September 2, Shen Hanzhi drove her black Maybach to take Little Jin to school early. Many students at Nandu University came from wealthy families, but few arrived in a Maybach. When Shen Hanzhi registered at the gate and drove in, it drew attention. When the two got out, even more people noticed them.
Wen Jin wore a white casual dress, making her skin look fairer. Shen Hanzhi wore a thin beige suit, her cool demeanor enhancing her refined aura.
Some saw an opportunity. A few male alphas by the canopy, eyeing them like prey, approached.
Shen Hanzhi’s aura was cold. The lead male alpha didn’t dare speak to her, instead addressing Wen Jin. “Hey, classmate, are you a freshman? I’m your third-year senior, Li Peng. Got luggage? We’ll carry it and take you to register.”
The little girl looked at the two enthusiastic boys, stepped back to Shen Hanzhi’s side, and looked at her.
Shen Hanzhi pulled Little Jin closer, glanced at the two, and said casually, “No need to trouble you. I’ll take my wife to register.”
Ignoring them, Shen Hanzhi led Wen Jin to the registration area. To prevent Little Jin from being bothered, she stayed with her, paid tuition with a new bank card, and helped get a cafeteria card, preparing everything even if they might not eat there.
Li Peng, unexpectedly rejected, felt embarrassed and complained to Qin Li beside him. “Wife? I bet that omega’s just kept by that rich alpha. Disgusting. Acting all innocent.”
“Exactly, don’t be mad, Li. There are plenty of omegas in the freshman class. No need to get upset over her. Let’s find someone else to hit on,” Qin Li said quickly.
“What bad luck, running into a gold-digger first thing,” Li Peng cursed a few times, then went back to scouting with Qin Li.
Shen Hanzhi led Little Jin from the cafeteria card office and softly instructed, “If you see guys like those two at school, reject them early.”
Little Jin smiled, pinched Shen Hanzhi’s palm, raised an eyebrow, and asked, “Sister, are you jealous?”
Shen Hanzhi playfully swatted Little Jin’s butt. “Oh, little bad rabbit dares tease me now.”
“I like Sister,” the little girl said, quickly snuggling into Shen Hanzhi’s arms. They walked hand-in-hand through Nandu University’s campus and ran into Fu Yumeng.
Seeing Wen Jin, Fu Yumeng happily greeted, “Little Jin, awesome! You’re at Nandu University too.”
“Yeah, you done registering?” Wen Jin asked.
“Just finished. Heading to the dorm to sort out bedding,” Fu Yumeng said, smiling at them. “I got into the junior college too. My parents were mad and told me to move out to experience life.”
“Go to your dorm then. We’ll catch up later,” Little Jin said, waving. Fu Yumeng hurried to the dorms.
Little Jin checked the class group chat and saw the teacher asked everyone to meet in the classroom.
“Sister, the teacher says we need to go to class for a meeting. Want to come with me?” Little Jin asked, looking up.
Shen Hanzhi nodded. She came to drop off Little Jin and had nothing else to do, so she followed her to the class.
When Shen Hanzhi and Little Jin entered, the class went quiet briefly, then buzzed with chatter. Horticultural technology had few omegas, especially female ones. Many in Wen Jin’s class were eager, and some kept eyeing Shen Hanzhi.
Shen Hanzhi led Little Jin to a random seat. Two male alphas in front planned to greet them when the class counselor arrived.
“Everyone, quiet down. I’m your counselor for these three years, surnamed Tang. Come to me with any life or study issues. Let’s get to know each other. Introduce yourselves briefly. In a few days, we’ll elect a class leader,” Counselor Tang said, as university counselors often left tasks to class leaders and academic reps.
The students gave short introductions. The little girl only said her name.
After everyone finished, Counselor Tang’s gaze fell on Shen Hanzhi, clearly not a student, and smiled. “You in the back, are you a student’s parent?”
Shen Hanzhi smiled at Little Jin beside her and replied, “I’m a student’s family, here to drop off my wife.”
The class erupted in chatter. Shen Hanzhi didn’t mind; she and Little Jin were legitimate, so she introduced herself as such.
Counselor Tang smiled and said, “Alright, family doesn’t need to introduce. I’ll send the schedule soon. Some alphas, come with me to get textbooks. After distributing books, you can leave.”
After Counselor Tang left, many were curious about Shen Hanzhi and Wen Jin. A male alpha in front turned and asked, “Are you really married, not just girlfriends?”
“Of course it’s real. Who jokes about marriage?” Shen Hanzhi said, playing with Little Jin’s fingers.
“Wow, that breaks so many alphas’ hearts. She’s not just taken; she’s married.”
“Yeah, but you two look good together. Both are so attractive.”
“Thanks,” Shen Hanzhi replied politely.
Shen Hanzhi and Wen Jin chatted with a few nearby students. The counselor returned with helpers, distributed many books, and let everyone go.
Shen Hanzhi carried a stack of horticulture books, with Little Jin following. Leaving the building, most students went to dorms, but Shen Hanzhi took Little Jin to the car.
They got into the Maybach, noticed by many in Wen Jin’s class, sparking whispers.
“Look, Wen Jin and her girlfriend came in a Maybach. Wow, rich people.”
“What rich? That female alpha doesn’t look like her wife. Wen Jin’s probably just kept by her,” said Zhang Jinhe, a male omega who stared at Shen Hanzhi in class.
“I think so too. Lots of gold-diggers get paid monthly. Wen Jin seems like one,” Wang Shan agreed.
“No way, I thought they were sweet earlier.”
“Me too. Did we misjudge?”
In crowded places like universities, gossip spreads fast. Many students were naive and easily swayed. After a brief discussion, some believed Wen Jin was Shen Hanzhi’s kept mistress.
Zhang Jinhe and Wang Shan spoke the harshest, bonding over their shared disdain, unable to stand others doing better than them.
