After Transmigrating Into a Book, I Was Forced to Play the Role of a Scumbag Alpha (GL) - Chapter 55
Chapter 55
Principal Wen announced the expulsion of Zhang Jinhe, Wang Shan, and Wen Xin before the entire school and named every student who insulted Wen Jin.
As names were read, students who posted insults grew restless. Qin Li whispered to Li Peng, “Think they’ll find us too?”
“If they do, so what? They’re naming tons of people. The law doesn’t punish a crowd, got it?” Li Peng said, though he was nervous, still acting tough.
Soon, Principal Wen named Li Peng and Qin Li. He then announced the consequences. “All students I named will receive a disciplinary record. The internet isn’t lawless. You can’t maliciously slander others. This record stays in your file forever.”
After the principal spoke, students began discussing.
“Phew, glad I kept my mouth shut.”
“Same. I even said Wen Jin and her girlfriend were cute in the thread.”
“Wen Xin’s screwed. Expelled as a senior. All her years wasted.”
“Wasted? I heard the three worst rumor-mongers are detained.”
“Serves them right. They’re just jealous.”
Principal Wen saw the chatter and said, “Alright, everyone, quiet down.”
He looked at Shen Hanzhi and asked, “President Shen, anything to say?”
Shen Hanzhi glanced at Little Jin, stood, took the microphone from Principal Wen, and the crowd hushed.
Shen Hanzhi scanned the students and said, “This was just someone fabricating lies about my wife, but the impact was clear. In half a day, it spread across Nandu University. Almost everyone knew. We reported it to the police, hired lawyers, and contacted the school to demand strict punishment. I want to say, regardless of gender, being slandered with vile rumors is heinous. Preserve evidence and report it. Don’t let those hiding online spreading lies go unpunished.”
After Shen Hanzhi spoke, students applauded. She stepped down, sat beside Little Jin, and squeezed her hand.
Most of the culprits faced due punishment. Shen Hanzhi left the rest to her lawyers. After the assembly, she took Little Jin from the venue, drove to their villa, but at the community gate, a car blocked the way. Shen Hanzhi honked for the car to move. The driver, a woman, argued with security outside.
Hearing the horn, the woman turned. Shen Hanzhi saw her face—it was Wu Yan. Wu Yan saw Shen Hanzhi and Wen Jin.
Wu Yan rushed to Shen Hanzhi’s car, banging on the door. “Wen Jin, you little b1tch, why’d you harm my daughter? If you don’t get her out of jail, I’ll rip you apart.”
As Wu Yan charged, Shen Hanzhi started recording on her phone and used Little Jin’s phone to call police. “Officer, Wen Xin’s mother is threatening violence against us at our community gate. Security can witness, and there’s surveillance. I’m recording too.”
The officer gave instructions, and Shen Hanzhi hung up. She looked at Wen Jin and said softly, “Don’t be scared. I’ve called the police.”
Little Jin’s fear of Wu Yan, rooted in Rose Manor’s past, had faded. She saw the woman as unhinged, nodded to Shen Hanzhi, and said, “I’m not scared.”
Four security guards, seeing Wu Yan’s frenzy, pulled her away from Shen Hanzhi’s car.
Police arrived in ten minutes, the same officers handling Zhang Jinhe’s case. They reviewed surveillance and Shen Hanzhi’s video, then took Wu Yan away.
Shen Hanzhi and Wen Jin gave statements at the police station, then went home.
Wu Yan called Wen Hengqiu for help, but he ignored her. She and Wen Xin both got ten days’ detention.
Shen Hanzhi brought Little Jin home, ate dinner, and lay leisurely on the bed, holding her. Little Jin mumbled, kissed Shen Hanzhi’s lips, and acted spoiled.
Shen Hanzhi laughed, hugged Little Jin closer, and asked, “What’s with Little Jin? So bold today.”
“Sister worked hard for me today,” Little Jin said, mumbling, squeezing into Shen Hanzhi’s arms.
Shen Hanzhi rubbed Little Jin and coaxed softly, “Not hard. No one bullies my Little Jin. Want to watch TV?”
Little Jin nodded, obediently got the tablet, snuggled into Shen Hanzhi’s arms, kissed her lips, and said, “Sister, let’s watch that business drama.”
Shen Hanzhi pressed Little Jin’s waist, kissed her for a bit, and laughed. “Good. My Little Jin learned a lot from that show, huh?”
“No way,” Little Jin said, mumbling, burrowing into Shen Hanzhi’s arms.
Shen Hanzhi opened the tablet, found the play history, and started the next episode.
In the scene, the family patriarch was dying, lying in a hospital bed, settling affairs. He gave his shares and the family mansion to Big Sister. That afternoon, he passed away.
Burying him took days. Big Sister then used ruthless tactics in the company, forcing Big Brother to yield. To avoid humiliation, he sold all his shares and left the mansion.
Father sat in the living room, scolding Big Sister for being impulsive and harsh to family.
Big Sister lounged on the sofa, looked at Father, and said with a smile, “Dad, you’re not young. I bought a vineyard in France. Pack up and move there.”
“What’s that mean? You don’t even acknowledge me as your father?” Father stood, furious.
Big Sister smiled calmly. “You’re smart. You get it. Move abroad, get a free property. I won’t cut your dividends. Otherwise, you’ll be ousted from the company, and don’t blame me if you lose face.”
“You’re such a filial daughter,” Father said, mocking her in anger.
Big Sister chuckled, unfazed.
Father, seeing her resolve, looked at Second Sister and Third Sister. “What do you say?”
Second Sister smiled at Father. “Dad, I think Sister’s right. You haven’t managed the company in years. Retiring abroad is good. Leave the company to us young folks.”
Father staggered, collapsed on the sofa, and looked at Third Sister.
Third Sister said slowly, “Dad, didn’t you end my adoption? I’m an outsider now. I follow my sisters.”
“Fine, you three planned this, huh? Such filial daughters,” Father said.
“You flatter us,” Big Sister said, chuckling. She looked at Stepmom beside Father, beckoned, and said, “By the way, go to France alone. Stepmom stays with me.”
Big Sister pulled Stepmom into her arms.
Father pointed at Big Sister, then Stepmom. “You—you’re outrageous. She’s my girlfriend.”
“Dad, we know your dirty secrets. Want it all out? Fine. You cheated during Mom’s pregnancy with Second Sister, causing Mom’s death on the operating table. While she died, you were vacationing abroad with your mistress, right? You know how chaotic your life’s been. You’re infertile now. I’ll take care of your girlfriend,” Big Sister said bluntly. Father fainted from rage.
The butler hurried over, asking Big Sister, “Should we send Sir to the hospital?”
Big Sister’s face hardened. “No rush. If he’s not awake in half an hour, then go.”
Mother waited months for him, and he never returned. It was time he felt that wait.
Father didn’t make it to France. A stroke left him a vegetable. Big Sister arranged for him to stay in the family’s private hospital.
Second Sister didn’t object. She’d felt guilty about Mother’s death since childhood and hated Father. Before, she lacked power, and the patriarch ruled, forcing a facade of filial piety. Now, the sisters could drop the act.
That night, Big Sister visited Stepmom’s room. Stepmom, fresh from a bath, saw Big Sister and blushed.
Big Sister pulled Stepmom into her arms, sat her on her lap, and teased, “What’s with Stepmom today? So shy?”
“Ugh, you’re doing this on purpose. I’m not with your dad anymore. Stop calling me Stepmom,” Stepmom said.
Big Sister kissed Stepmom’s lips and laughed. “Doesn’t calling you Stepmom in bed feel thrilling? No reason to refuse my mark now, right?”
As Big Sister leaned to kiss, Stepmom pushed her, ears red. “You—go shower first. No need to rush anymore. No sneaking around.”
Big Sister kissed Stepmom’s ear and coaxed softly, “Since there’s no rush, help me in there, okay?”
Stepmom started to say no but was half-coaxed, half-carried into the bathroom. Soon, water splashed, and gasps mixed with the sound.
Shen Hanzhi held Little Jin tightly, kissed her lips, and teased, “Will my Little Jin help me later?”
Little Jin mumbled, buried her face in Shen Hanzhi’s arms, and whispered, “No way. Sister’s naughty.”
“Really? Naughtier than my little bad rabbit?” Shen Hanzhi said, pinning Little Jin down and kissing her.
On the first day of classes, Shen Hanzhi dropped Little Jin at the school gate and said softly, “Call me if anything happens. I’ve got company matters, so I won’t stay. I’ll pick you up later.”
“Okay,” Little Jin said, kissed Shen Hanzhi’s cheek, grabbed her bunny-shaped book bag, and walked into school.
After the previous day’s events, no one dared gossip. When Wen Jin entered the classroom, it went silent. After a while, soft chatter resumed.
Wen Jin openly set out her books, played on her phone, and a boy in front spoke to her.
“Your girlfriend didn’t come today?”
“She had company business. Dropped me off and went to work,” Wen Jin said, holding no grudge against classmates since only a few spread rumors.
“Oh, cool. Your girlfriend’s speech yesterday made sense. Now we know who the rumor-mongers were. They’re expelled, so we won’t see them again,” the boy said.
Wen Jin nodded. The teacher entered, started class, and she focused, taking detailed notes. Near the end, she texted Shen Hanzhi, who soon arrived to pick her up.
Leaving the building, Little Jin saw Shen Hanzhi leaning against the car, rushed into her arms, and Shen Hanzhi helped her into the car.
Their classes were light, with three morning sessions and none in the afternoon. Shen Hanzhi drove home, ate lunch with Little Jin.
Meanwhile, Wen Hengqiu, furious, threw files off his desk. Companies he’d negotiated with, ready to collaborate, all backed out overnight, choosing other partners.
Several suppliers, nearing contract renewal, dropped Wen Group. The company faced a breaking point, its cash flow nearly gone.
Wen Hengqiu leaned back, took deep breaths, and considered begging Shen Hanzhi. If she relented, the company might recover. Otherwise, he’d need to flee.
Shen Hanzhi was napping with Little Jin when Wen Hengqiu called. Her tone was cold. “What? Got something, President Wen?”
Wen Hengqiu fawned. “President Shen, I’m so sorry about Little Jin. Wen Xin’s expelled and detained. I won’t pull strings to save her. She hurt Little Jin; she deserves it. Please don’t be mad. Wen Group’s struggling. For Little Jin’s sake, spare us.”
Shen Hanzhi sneered. “Spare you? Spare Little Jin instead. Your wife nearly attacked her yesterday. She’s probably detained too. Go check on her. Her mental state seems off.”
Shen Hanzhi hung up. Wen Hengqiu, enraged, threw his phone and shouted, “I’m out here slaving for deals, and you’re dragging me down. Fine, you’re done. The company’s bankrupt in days.”
He ignored the company’s mess, grabbed his car keys, and rushed to the male omega who carried his child.
At the house, no one was home. Furniture remained, but the property, gold bars, and luxury items he’d given the omega were gone.
Wen Hengqiu felt dread, called repeatedly, but the phone was off. He searched the house, finding no trace of the man.
Furious, sweating, barely able to walk, Wen Hengqiu drove back to the company, told the finance team to transfer money overseas.
The finance team sensed trouble, pretended to comply, but reported him. Helping transfer assets could implicate them.
Police intervened, finding Wen Group a hollow shell, its cash flow broken, tax evasion rampant. Wen Hengqiu was detained.
His properties were seized and auctioned, bank accounts frozen.
Wen Kai was evicted from the villa, his accounts frozen. Unable to imagine surviving, he called classmates and friends, but none lent money. He went to the detention center to see Wu Yan, who fainted at the news.
Wen Kai found a job selling wine at a bar, earning commissions per bottle. Former cronies mocked him, treating him like a dog, promising to buy a case if he drank a bottle.
Wen Kai drank a whole bottle of red wine, earned a few thousand, but vomited miserably.
Wu Yan went mad in detention, babbling nonsense. Released with Wen Xin, she was fully insane, muttering to anyone.
Wen Xin, seeing her mother, broke down, refusing to accept it. She rushed to the villa, found her cards frozen, and used a ring to pay the cab. The villa was sealed, locked tight.
Unbelieving, Wen Xin had the driver take her to school. In the dorm, roommates stared oddly. One, her longtime rival, said, “Pack up and leave. Expelled, why stay?”
Wen Xin, already distressed, left Wu Yan at the detention center. Furious, she dragged the roommate off the bed. “Bullshit. I’m a senior. A small thing can’t expel me. You’re jealous of my family, ganging up to ruin me. If I’m done, you’re all done.”
Other roommates restrained Wen Xin. Neighbors, hearing the commotion, called police, who took her away again.
Police, with no one to claim Wu Yan, used her contacts to summon Wen Kai.
Seeing his mother, Wen Kai sobbed, took her to his tiny rented apartment, and broke down. Selling wine meant mockery and harassment from old acquaintances, treated like a male escort.
Wen Kai considered ending it all.
He got a call: his sister was detained again. Looking at his mad mother, Wen Kai ordered a big meal, ate heartily with her, and went to work with a sharp dagger hidden in his pocket.
His old cronies came, offering 10,000 yuan if he drank on his knees. Wen Kai drank one, then drew the dagger, stabbing the rich kids. Several, unprepared, died instantly.
“Come on, want me to watch me drink? I’m done. I’ll take you with me,” Wen Kai said, eyes wild, stabbing recklessly.
Some, shocked by his desperation, fell, stabbed repeatedly. “Don’t kill me. I’ll pay,” one screamed, offering his wallet.
“Money? Money now? When I begged me for money, you all refused. It’s too late. You ruined me,” Wen Kai said, stabbing.
“Murder! Call police!”
“Help!”
Wen Kai, like a vengeful spirit from hell, his life hopeless, aimed to ruin others. Mad, he chased the rich kids. No one dared stop him. Clubgoers fled to avoid trouble.
That night, police and ambulance sirens filled the area. Taken away, Wen Kai smiled, as if relieved.
For intentional murder, killing three and injuring four, Wen Kai was sentenced to death.
Wu Yan became a street vagrant, mad, surviving on trash.
Wen Xin, released again, sold her jewelry, fled to a small county, never checking on Wu Yan. Wen Hengqiu, for tax evasion and asset transfer, got six years.
Unlike the Wen family’s ruin, Little Jin adapted to school, befriending classmates who learned she wasn’t arrogant.
Shen Hanzhi drove Little Jin to and from school daily. Over time, many secretly shipped their CP. Girlfriends picking up partners a few times a week were common, but Shen Hanzhi’s daily devotion made everyone swoon.
