As I progressed through the forest, I kicked aside a rock that was lying in his path.

I muttered to myself to calm down and began searching my memories.

First, I started with the memories from when I was human.

I lived in a country called Japan, in the 21st century.

My name was Fuwa Katsu (Rough Stone Slime). It wasn’t a name like Sla-suke, which was completely arbitrary.

I attended school, and while on my way home, a car crashed into the sidewalk—

And then I lost all memory from that point.

“(Is this what they call reincarnation…?)”

Since I died and was reborn, it must be reincarnation. Unfortunately, I had just lost my memory.

Moreover, the memories from right after I was born as a slime were also hazy.

Everything else is weak to the point of being shameful, but |Toughness| is outstanding.

Well, thanks to that, I have managed to avoid injuries so far.

There hasn’t been any change in my skills.

[Cover] and [Throwing] were acquired while protecting his companions or practicing stone-throwing.

[Cover] expands defensive range. However, in a situation without companions, it is meaningless. [Throwing] is also ineffective with my current attack power.

This is troublesome. [Dissolving Liquid] isn’t very useful in combat either, so I’ll avoid fighting and focus on hiding and gathering to survive in the forest.

Defeating enemies increases my level and makes me stronger, but there’s no need to obsess over strength.

There are many herbivorous magical beasts, and if I join them, I should be able to survive for a while.
