Summary
Synopsis:
Gong Zhi died from overwork and transmigrated into a novel. To ensure she lives a long and healthy life this time, she’s dedicated to a “salted fish” lifestyle of self-care and relaxation.
After drinking goji berry tea for twenty years, a system, though late, finally arrives and tells her that a long life is within reach! The condition? She has to stop the female lead, a substitute lover, from embracing her dark side.
Gong Zhi screws the lid on her thermos, takes a sip of her goji berry and chrysanthemum tea, and says, “Let’s do this!”
Gong Zhi rushes to the scene just as the male lead is humiliating the female lead with a contract.
Gong Zhi: “I might be a bit late, but don’t panic. I’ve got a plan!”
Gong Zhi confidently steps in and replaces her older brother, becoming the female lead’s benefactor instead.
Male Lead: “Huh?”
By following the male lead’s path and leaving him with no path to take, she cuts off the problem at its source. She reasons that she won’t treat the female lead poorly, and she can finally go back to being a carefree “salted fish.”
What no one knows is that Shen Ying has been reborn. In her previous life, she forgave too easily and embraced her dark side too late.
This time, she will make sure everyone gets their just desserts, and that the people she loves live long and happy lives.
She’s back from hell. As soon as she opens her eyes, she sees this scene: that wicked and foolish sister-in-law is on her tiptoes, trying to please her. “Don’t be afraid. No one will bully you ever again.”
Shen Ying smirks. Did this person also get reborn? I’ll just have to wait and see how you plan to win me over.
On day one of Shen Ying’s act of feigned helplessness, Gong Zhi is living her “salted fish” life.
On day two of Shen Ying’s act of feigned helplessness, Gong Zhi is living her “salted fish” life.
