Being a Tutor to a Rich, Psychopathic Young Lady - Chapter 23
Chapter 23
After listening to Xiao Dengqu, Cheng Jin was at her limit. She shouted at her sharply, “Xiao Dengqu!”
Xiao Dengqu was startled by her and recoiled in fear, shrinking back into the sofa with her bare feet tucked in. “What is it, Cousin?”
Cheng Jin asked, “Are you doing this on purpose?”
Xiao Dengqu’s lips were pursed, as if she was about to speak. A few seconds later, she looked up and glared at Cheng Jin with a cold, fierce expression.
This gaze was frightening, completely different from before. Xiao Dengqu “humphed.” She said, “Cousin, are you being mean to me? I’ve already tried my best to please you. If you act like this, I’ll get angry.”
Cheng Jin was in a state of confusion. If Xiao Dengqu had only tried to please her, she would have thought it was a deliberate act. But now, was she innocent…? Xiao Dengqu asked her, “Do you need anything else?”
Cheng Jin was still fuming, and she put her hand down on the documents with force. Xiao Dengqu’s gaze fell on them and she asked curiously, “What’s that?”
Cheng Jin glanced at the documents and decided that calling her out was a mistake. She was more inclined to not give the documents to Xiao Dengqu. Instead of getting anywhere with Xiao Dengqu, she was now full of anger.
When Cheng Jin looked up again, Shi Mingyue was coming out of the elevator. Shi Mingyue took in the scene. Xiao Dengqu was hanging her head, sniffing with a pained expression.
Shi Mingyue looked at them in confusion. She asked, “What’s wrong?”
Cheng Jin’s sixth sense told her to immediately look at Shi Mingyue’s wrist. Shi Mingyue’s white shirt sleeves were covering her wrist.
“Cousin called me out to chat with her,” Xiao Dengqu pouted, not looking very happy.
Cheng Jin didn’t know what to do. She felt a tired and defeated slump. She nodded. “Yeah, I had something to tell her.”
“Yes, but Cousin hasn’t told me what it is yet,” Xiao Dengqu nodded.
Shi Mingyue had heard the voice message of Cheng Jin shouting at Xiao Dengqu. It was very loud. It seemed like they had just had a fight.
She saw the documents next to Cheng Jin and understood what was probably happening. Her eyelashes drooped, and she said, “Let’s talk about it another time. I’m very tired after being out all day. I need to go back and rest first.”
Xiao Dengqu was also tired at this point, yawning lazily. Her gaze still lingered on the documents in Cheng Jin’s hand, and her lips twitched slightly.
Shi Mingyue looked at Xiao Dengqu. “Let’s go.”
Xiao Dengqu lowered her head and looked for her slippers everywhere. Shi Mingyue walked over, half-crouched, and helped her find them. She took them out from under the sofa and handed them to Xiao Dengqu. Xiao Dengqu quickly took them. “I’ll put them on myself. I can’t let Cousin see.”
See what?
This sentence, when heard by Shi Mingyue, sounded like they had something going on and were caught by Cheng Jin. When heard by Cheng Jin, it sounded like she had scolded Xiao Dengqu, and Xiao Dengqu was afraid to let Shi Mingyue be nice to her. It was a double entendre with different effects, but it was definitely the effect Xiao Dengqu wanted.
Cheng Jin stood up, wanting to say a few words to Shi Mingyue. She stood in front of Shi Mingyue, facing her, but she didn’t know how to start. In the end, Shi Mingyue nodded and took Xiao Dengqu to the elevator.
Xiao Dengqu was very temperamental. She said, “I hate Cousin.”
Shi Mingyue knew her personality and sighed. “You’ll be fine tomorrow.”
Xiao Dengqu said, “That’s because the teacher doesn’t hate Cousin, so I can’t hate her. If you hate her, I’ll hate her too.”
Shi Mingyue didn’t reply to that. The elevator doors closed. Xiao Dengqu asked her again, “What did Cousin want to give you?”
Shi Mingyue shook her head. “I don’t know.”
“You definitely know.” Xiao Dengqu turned and stared at her intently, very displeased that she was keeping things from her.
Shi Mingyue’s lips moved, but in the end, they just parted to let out a breath.
Xiao Dengqu glanced at her, her eyes darkening. When they got out of the elevator, Shi Mingyue opened the door, and Xiao Dengqu yawned.
Xiao Dengqu: “I’m sleepy.”
Shi Mingyue: “Go to bed early.”
When she pushed open the door, her gaze fell on her underwear on the balcony again. She was about to tell Xiao Dengqu never to wash her things again.
Xiao Dengqu went into the bathroom with the blue Doraemon from the sofa. She re-wiped her hands and feet and came out holding the Doraemon.
She walked up to Shi Mingyue and asked, “Teacher, why aren’t you wearing pajamas?”
Shi Mingyue glanced at her own pajamas on Xiao Dengqu. “Next time, don’t deliberately wear mine. I’ll just wear these tonight.”
Shi Mingyue was quite quiet when she slept. She wouldn’t move around or wrinkle the clothes.
“No, I won’t change.” She couldn’t wear those sexy undergarments. Shi Mingyue said, “You don’t want me to go out in those things to find you, do you?”
“Okay.” Xiao Dengqu nodded. She went to the bar counter and poured herself a glass of water, and one for Shi Mingyue. Shi Mingyue didn’t drink it. She just reminded her to go to bed. Xiao Dengqu then talked to Doraemon. “Do you want some water?”
Cheng Jin returned to the hotel with a heavy heart. She was very frustrated. She stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and looked at the deep sea in the distance. The moonlight was shimmering and undulating in the waves. It was bright and cool. Even though the waves were constantly crashing on the surface, she could never catch it. It was always far away and out of reach.
She regretted it. She shouldn’t have introduced Shi Mingyue to be a tutor. She only remembered that Xiao Dengqu had a mischievous personality and forgot that she had problems with her brain.
After hesitating a few times, she still messaged Shi Mingyue, asking if she wanted to try being a tutor for another relative.
Shi Mingyue politely refused. She would not be a tutor for any more people from these wealthy families. She couldn’t distinguish who had looked at her with that kind of sexual gaze, and she was afraid she would fall into an abyss.
Cheng Jin typed and typed, at one moment thinking of the underwear Xiao Dengqu mentioned, and at another, thinking of the cute nightgown on Xiao Dengqu.
Suddenly, it felt even more distant.
She had the illusion that she couldn’t grasp it.
Cheng Jin typed, “I really like you, Mingyue,” and then deleted the words one by one. What if Shi Mingyue rejected her again?
Shi Mingyue sat cross-legged on the bed. Xiao Dengqu got on the bed behind her. She put the stuffed animal on the pillow. Xiao Dengqu said with a smile, “I like it. It’s very cute.”
Shi Mingyue sighed. “Never mind. I’ll just lock the bathroom door next time.”
Xiao Dengqu sat on the edge of the bed and played with Doraemon. Shi Mingyue lay down first. She was in a bad mood and a little irritable, so she tossed and turned. She took out her phone and searched for information about Xiao Dengqu’s family.
“Teacher,” Xiao Dengqu said, “This is the first time I’ve received a gift.”
Shi Mingyue wanted to say that couldn’t be right, but Xiao Dengqu muttered, “It’s not a reward. It’s a gift.”
A reward is something you earn through hard work, and if you don’t work hard, you lose the right to it. A gift is given to you because someone wants to, a surprise.
Shi Mingyue’s heart felt numb and even more confused.
Xiao Dengqu had given her countless gifts, but she hadn’t been able to give her one back. This Doraemon was bought with the money the steward gave her.
At the time, Xiao Dengqu’s fingers kept touching its small bell. Shi Mingyue could see that Xiao Dengqu really wanted it. She deliberately went back to buy it. She really wanted to make Xiao Dengqu happy.
Xiao Dengqu kept playing with Doraemon. She asked, “Will you always stay with Nobita, even if Nobita is a fool who can’t study and is clumsy? You’ll still like him a lot, right?”
She talked to herself, “You will. Because you have a time machine and a Anywhere Door. You’ll always find Nobita.”
“Now, Xiao Dengqu has a Doraemon too.”
It was just like a child’s make-believe game. She played alone for a long time. In the middle, Shi Mingyue turned off her phone.
The information about Xiao Dengqu’s father was clean online. There was a blurry picture on Baidu. He was wearing glasses and had a somber expression, looking like a very serious person.
Everything else was about his industry, how rich he was, and how advanced his investments were. Shi Mingyue didn’t understand much of it. As for Xiao Dengqu’s mother, it only said that the Xiao and Fu families were of equal status and that they had a daughter after they got married. Nothing was mentioned about the daughter.
Now, this daughter was lying next to Shi Mingyue, chattering away. At the toy store, Xiao Dengqu had stared so intently that Shi Mingyue had thought she was just curious.
Now that she thought about it, Xiao Dengqu knew about Doraemon and was very eager to have it. Every time she put on cartoon stickers on her arm, she would always put on Doraemon. At that time, her eyes were not filled with curiosity. They were filled with love and surprise.
Xiao Dengqu played by herself for a while, then looked at Shi Mingyue next to her and called out, “Teacher?”
Shi Mingyue’s mood was complex, so she didn’t answer her.
Xiao Dengqu moved a couple of times next to her. She didn’t hug Doraemon to sleep. She put Doraemon on the nightstand next to the bed and got out of bed to wash her hands before coming back to lie down.
The lights went out, and the room was quiet.
Shi Mingyue tried her best to stop thinking and fall asleep. She was truly exhausted. Before long, her breathing became even, and she fell into a dream.
Half-asleep and half-awake, Shi Mingyue’s breathing suddenly became difficult. Her lips felt warm. She tried to open her eyes, but it was like she was experiencing sleep paralysis. She couldn’t wake up. Everything in front of her was dark, and her fingers curled slightly.
Xiao Dengqu was kissing her, her lips pressed against hers, then licking her lip bead.
A few minutes later, her finger slid inside Shi Mingyue’s collar. She didn’t touch Shi Mingyue’s chest. Her finger just touched her skin, feeling Shi Mingyue’s heartbeat.
Shi Mingyue’s heart suddenly thudded loudly. Xiao Dengqu’s finger made a turn on it. “It doesn’t hurt.”
Shi Mingyue’s heart was indeed beating heavily. It hurt a lot. Xiao Dengqu rubbed her for a long time, then turned to her side, with her hand on Shi Mingyue’s waist. Xiao Dengqu’s eyes were on her profile. She then moved closer and hugged Shi Mingyue tightly.
She said another sentence: “Doraemon.”
Shi Mingyue didn’t understand the meaning of this, but she was so thirsty that her mouth parted slightly.
Xiao Dengqu kissed her again to quench her thirst and to satisfy her own craving.
…
The next day, Shi Mingyue woke up early. She was very sleepy, but she had been dreaming all night. It was a sensual dream… She felt sticky and had to take a shower.
Fortunately, she was used to staying up late for her design work. She lay in bed for a while. After she came to, she didn’t feel so bad anymore.
She sat up and looked at her chest. The second button had a fold mark. Was it really a dream?
Xiao Dengqu’s lips were pressed against hers, soft, wet, and warm. She was so thirsty that when Xiao Dengqu’s tongue came in, she licked back a little in her extreme thirst.
Shi Mingyue’s face was flushed, and her heart was pounding. Xiao Dengqu was in the bathroom shouting at her, “Hurry up, Teacher! Can we wear bikinis today?”
Xiao Dengqu was excitedly urging her. The suitcase next to her was already open. Shi Mingyue hummed. Xiao Dengqu came out of the bathroom, already changed into her clothes. It was a pink one-piece with cutouts at the waist. The bra part was connected to a sexy triangle bottom. The 18-year-old girl had a certain sensuality that expanded with her presence as she walked into the morning sun.
