Being the Diva’s Rumored Girlfriend [Entertainment Industry] - Chapter 32
Mi Man slept until past 11 in the morning.
When she opened her eyes, she couldn’t quite tell where she was. Staring at the unfamiliar ceiling, she heard no noisy clamor—only the quiet chirping of birds.
Sitting up in bed, Mi Man glanced at the medicinal plaster wrapped around her ankle and wiggled her toes.
Hmm, not as painful as yesterday.
She pushed the covers aside and got out of bed. Fortunately, only one foot was sprained, so she could still manage a few steps while leaning against the wall.
Opening the door, she found the living room silent. Aside from the orange tabby cat sprawled on the sofa, there was no sign of anyone else.
Mi Man hobbled around the room with difficulty, wanting to check if Mu Yunshu was upstairs. But when she reached the staircase and saw the long flight of steps, she hesitated.
If she misjudged a hop on one foot, she might not just injure one leg—she could very well crack her skull open.
After some deliberation, Mi Man decided against going up and instead leaned against the wall as she made her way back to her bedroom.
“Meow—”
On the bed, Guazi flicked his tail and watched the woman shuffling along the wall with a puzzled expression, as if wondering why she was acting so strangely.
Mi Man sat back down on the bed and pulled out her phone to check the time. She noticed her friend had called several times, asking when she’d be back.
Guazi tilted his head, stretched out a snow-white paw to press against Mi Man’s thigh, and let out another soft meow.
“What’s wrong?” Mi Man looked at him curiously. “What are you trying to say?”
Guazi stepped forward with both paws, nuzzled Mi Man’s cheek with his nose, and meowed again.
Was he… hungry?
Mi Man had never owned a cat, so she wasn’t entirely sure what his behavior meant. But it was already noon—he must be hungry, right?
She just didn’t know where Mu Yunshu had gone.
“Are you hungry?” Mi Man chuckled, poking his nose with her finger. “I’m hungry too.”
She hadn’t eaten anything since last night and was genuinely starving.
Guazi tilted his head again, meowed once more, and even tapped Mi Man with his little white-gloved paw, as if he had something important to convey.
Just as the two were having their little chat on the bed, Mu Yunshu finally appeared at the doorway, carrying a few bags.
Seeing Mi Man and Guazi huddled together, she raised an eyebrow. “How long have you been awake?”
“Just woke up,” Mi Man replied, hugging Guazi. “Where did you go? I couldn’t find you earlier.”
“I went to buy you some congee,” Mu Yunshu said, walking over and sitting beside Mi Man’s bed. She glanced at her ankle. “Does your foot still hurt?”
Mi Man shook her head.
Mu Yunshu smiled softly. “Are you hungry?”
Mi Man nodded obediently.
Seeing her little wife waiting so sweetly in bed, Mu Yunshu found her unbearably adorable. With a light laugh, she said, “Let me feed you.”
As she opened the takeout container, the rich aroma of salted pork congee filled the air.
Mi Man’s foot was injured, not her stomach—the enticing scent immediately made her eyes light up. “Which shop is this from? It smells amazing.”
Mu Yunshu replied, “A 24-hour congee place across the street. Their porridge is really good.”
Because of the elegant surroundings, there weren’t many shops in the area. The owner of that congee shop had excellent culinary skills and rented a cheap storefront mainly for takeout, with few customers dining in except for the regulars from Mu Yunshu’s studio.
Mi Man’s stomach growled loudly, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Mu Yunshu, reaching out to take the bowl of congee.
“Sit still,” Mu Yunshu said, stirring the congee with a spoon. “Didn’t I say I’d feed you?”
Mi Man didn’t understand why Mu Yunshu insisted—after all, she had only injured her foot.
But unable to resist Mu Yunshu’s firm attitude, Mi Man obediently sat on the bed, letting her feed her spoonful by spoonful.
At first, it was fine, but the more she was fed, the redder Mi Man’s face became. Her eyes darted around, unsure where to look, eventually fixing on the spoon in front of her, her cheeks burning.
Today, Mu Yunshu was dressed casually—a loose linen shirt and baggy linen pants, making her appear even more slender.
From Mi Man’s angle as she ate, she could faintly glimpse Mu Yunshu’s ample cleavage.
The alluring curve and fullness left Mi Man flustered.
Damn it, why was Mu Yunshu’s outfit so loose today? The neckline was practically gaping…
Blushing, Mi Man kept her head down, sipping the congee, though her eyes kept drifting back…
Ugh, it’s bigger than mine!
Her nose tingled with the urge to cry—taller, prettier, and even bustier than her!
Ughhhhh!
Distracted, Mi Man accidentally bit down on the spoon Mu Yunshu had just slipped into her mouth.
Crunch—
The sound of plastic cracking between her teeth made Mi Man freeze. She looked up nervously. “S-spoon—”
Mu Yunshu chuckled. “Open your mouth.”
Mi Man obeyed, and Mu Yunshu pulled out the spoon, inspecting it. The junction between the bowl and handle had cracked from the little bite.
“You broke it,” Mu Yunshu said, tilting her head. “What now?”
Mi Man blinked. What, was she going to get scolded for biting a spoon?
“It’s just a spoon,” she muttered cautiously. “Just grab another one.”
“But there isn’t a spare.”
“Uh… don’t you have spoons at home?”
“I rarely eat here. I don’t keep them around.”
Mi Man pouted. “Then just give me the bowl. I’ll drink straight from it.”
Who hadn’t drunk congee straight from the bowl before? No big deal!
Mu Yunshu seemed amused by Mi Man’s aggrieved expression. Suddenly, she leaned in and nipped Mi Man’s lips, making her jolt.
Huh…? Kissing again first thing in the morning???
“You’ve been staring at me for a while,” Mu Yunshu murmured. “Still not satisfied?”
Caught red-handed, Mi Man flushed. “I-I wasn’t staring…”
Mu Yunshu smirked. “Just like last time—you kept eyeing my waist. Did it feel good when you hugged it?”
Mi Man stiffened. Back at the sports center, she had been mesmerized by Mu Yunshu’s waist and seized the chance to sneak an embrace. But she hadn’t expected her to remember until now!
So petty!
“I was just hugging,” Mi Man muttered under her breath. “But you kissed me so many times.”
Her rebuttal lacked conviction, spoken in a soft, sticky-sweet voice that made Mu Yunshu’s heart itch unbearably.
How could this little thing be so adorable?
“After staring at me all day, don’t you want to touch?” Mu Yunshu said with rogue-like charm. “If you won’t touch me, then I’ll have to touch you instead.”
“You…!!”
Before she could finish, Mi Man felt a warm hand slither under her skirt like a snake.
Her face burned crimson. No one had ever touched her legs like this before—she was both furious and embarrassed, at a loss for words.
Mu Yunshu chuckled lightly before capturing her lips again.
On her legs, that wandering serpent explored relentlessly.
While in her mouth, Mu Yunshu’s kiss carried her distinctive taste—soft, cloyingly sweet.
“Mmm… you… you…”
“Don’t move,” Mu Yunshu threatened playfully, holding a bowl of porridge in one hand. “If this spills, I won’t let you off easy.”
Terrified the woman might actually pour porridge on her, Mi Man froze stiffly, clutching Mu Yunshu’s shoulders as she panted softly.
This is bad, bad, BAD—!!!
Mi Man thought despairingly—she was truly falling into this woman’s hands!!!
The whispery sound of wet kisses filled her ears, making her heartbeat race uncontrollably. Why were her arms so weak when it was her foot that was injured?
The kiss seemed endless until Mi Man melted into Mu Yunshu’s arms like liquid, gasping against her shoulder.
The autumn pajamas were thin—Mu Yunshu could clearly feel the curves of Mi Man’s body, and certain unmentionable places.
“Had enough?” Mu Yunshu set the porridge aside and pinned Mi Man to the bed. “Now it’s my turn to eat.”
Drenched in sweat, Mi Man covered her eyes with the back of her hand.
“N-no… you can’t…”
Faced with Mi Man’s feeble protest, Mu Yunshu simply smiled and moved her injured foot aside.
“I won’t actually devour you,” Mu Yunshu gazed at the girl on the bed. “Just… a taste.”
Treated like a dish on a platter, Mi Man thought this woman was utterly wicked.
Blushing furiously, her eyes misty, Mi Man whispered, “At most… this much…”
Mu Yunshu laughed delightedly, kissing the tip of Mi Man’s nose. “Okay~”
Lights out
Naughty business ensues
————
During these days staying at Mu Yunshu’s home, Mi Man was treated like a princess.
Apart from bathroom visits which required her own effort, everything else was either handled by Mu Yunshu personally or by her assistants/housekeepers.
All Mi Man had to do was eat, sleep, curl up on the sofa with melon seeds, and watch TV.
When the doctor came to check Mi Man’s foot injury today—after a week’s rest—she felt much better.
“Can I go home now?” Mi Man asked eagerly as Mu Yunshu returned from seeing the doctor out. “My foot doesn’t hurt anymore.”
Mu Yunshu shook her head. “The doctor said your ankle hasn’t recovered well due to reinjury. More rest is recommended.”
At these words, Mi Man’s face turned beet red instantly. She grabbed a sofa cushion and hurled it at Mu Yunshu!
“I got hurt again because you stripped me that day!” Mi Man flushed red with anger and shouted, “If it weren’t for you… I wouldn’t have kicked you!”
Not only did she fail to kick the person off the bed, but she also made her ankle worse.
Although they didn’t go all the way that day, this scoundrel had touched every part of her that could be touched!
Mu Yunshu caught the pillow Mi Man threw at her and said pitifully, “How can you deny everything after getting out of bed? You clearly enjoyed it very much in bed.”
Mi Man’s face turned red as she scolded, “You shameless pervert!”
Mu Yunshu leaned closer with a bright smile. “Even if I’m a pervert, I’m only your pervert~”
Listen to that! What kind of outrageous talk is this!
This woman is simply too brazen!
