Boss, Please Go Easy On Me (GL) - Chapter 26
Yan Xiaomi had just been thinking for a moment when An Yao had already stripped off both their clothes.
Tiny kisses fell on her face, neck, and trailed downwards…
In no time, Yan Xiaomi was thoroughly aroused. CEO An is too skilled at this, Yan Xiaomi suddenly thought with a knot in her stomach, figuring An Yao must have definitely done this with others before.
When the kisses reached her waist, Yan Xiaomi couldn’t help but arch her back and let out a moan. Her mind was still fixed on An Yao having been with others. Then what am I to her? A one-night stand?
But if that was the case, she didn’t want it. She absolutely didn’t want to give her first time to a drunken woman.
Yan Xiaomi sat up, pulled An Yao closer, cupped her face and looked at her for a moment, and the next second, her lips covered An Yao’s. In an instant, the world spun, and the two of them lay horizontally across the bed, neither up nor down.
Even if it was a one-night stand, she wouldn’t be the one being used.
An Yao underneath her looked different from what Yan Xiaomi had imagined, much more beautiful than she thought, innocently hazy, incredibly sexy and tempting.
Although Yan Xiaomi had never done this before, An Yao had just given her a good demonstration, so she followed suit. An Yao was very shy, and couldn’t help but make sounds when Yan Xiaomi touched her sensitive spots. Yan Xiaomi thought An Yao was particularly adorable at this moment and couldn’t resist watching her expressions more closely.
Based on her forum experience, she knew that she absolutely had to wash her hands before that, or wear a glove. Yan Xiaomi excitedly left the unsatisfied An Yao and rushed into the bathroom to wash her hands.
Actually, while washing her hands in the bathroom, she was also wondering if what she was doing was right. Although An Yao had been with others, was it really okay for her to seduce her while she was drunk?
When Yan Xiaomi returned to the bed, An Yao was still awake, looking at her with slightly narrowed eyes. After a while, she said softly, “Kiss me.”
Yan Xiaomi, who had been planning to go to sleep, was shocked by these two words. All her rationality flew away. She didn’t care who seduced whom anymore. All she wanted now was to pounce on her, to kiss, hug, make love, and sink into the moment.
………………
………………
Yan Xiaomi felt only a slight sensation when that barrier was broken, but seeing An Yao frown in discomfort, Yan Xiaomi froze instantly. She actually, she actually… took her boss’s virginity.
But if An Yao hadn’t been with others before, how could she be so skilled at these things? She had always thought An Yao had been with others. She had always thought this was a simple one-night stand, that as adults, it should be fine since they both consented. But now, who could tell her why it was like this!!!
Yan Xiaomi was completely bewildered! This time, she was truly bewildered!
However, the situation was irreversible. Seeing An Yao’s discomfort, Yan Xiaomi ignored everything else. She focused on comforting An Yao, making her feel more comfortable. A deep sense of guilt sprouted and took root in Yan Xiaomi’s heart, but her feelings for An Yao became even more irrevocable. Yan Xiaomi looked at the person in her arms, only hoping that tomorrow wouldn’t come too soon.
In the morning, Yan Xiaomi woke up just as the sky was beginning to brighten. To be precise, she hadn’t slept well all night. She was holding An Yao in her arms, and her dreams were entirely filled with An Yao.
She dreamed An Yao came at her with a knife, asking why she did that to her. She dreamed An Yao looked at her kneeling on the ground with a cold face, casually raised her hand, and said to two burly men, “Behead her.”
Many, many versions of An Yao, all her enemies, subduing her one by one. In the last scene, An Yao said, “Yan Xiaomi, I will never forgive you in this lifetime.”
Yan Xiaomi was startled awake by this sentence. The most painful thing in the world was owing someone a debt that could not be repaid. The four words “never forgive” had caused countless people to die with regrets.
Yan Xiaomi looked at the sleeping An Yao, the guilt in her heart piling up. What should she say to An Yao when she woke up? Should she say that she lost control last night and couldn’t restrain herself, unleashing her beastly nature and doing that to her?
Or should she say that she liked her all along and wanted to do that with her? An Yao would surely kick her out then. There were so many people who liked An Yao. What was Yan Xiaomi to her?
She might as well stick out her neck towards An Yao and say, “CEO An, your humble servant defiled your purity. I deserve to die ten thousand deaths!” And An Yao would cheerfully reply, “Behead her.”
Woe is her!
Yan Xiaomi was really afraid to face An Yao at this moment, afraid she would be angry, afraid she would be sad, afraid she would hate her forever.
Living for over twenty years, this was the first time Yan Xiaomi felt so sorry for someone that she even thought of dying. Maybe she should just commit suicide. No one would know about this if she was dead.
An Yao on the bed suddenly moved, frowning slightly. Yan Xiaomi hurriedly flipped out of bed, put on her clothes and shoes. Whether she lived or died didn’t matter right now. She had to run first. If An Yao saw her, she would die even faster.
Yan Xiaomi fled in such a desperate state. Leaving the hotel, she immediately hailed a cab to go home and pack her things. An Yao knew where her house was and would surely come looking, so she had to evacuate quickly. After quickly packing a simple suitcase and the essentials, Yan Xiaomi went to Tong Xi’s place.
Halfway there, An Yao called her once. Yan Xiaomi didn’t dare to answer. She immediately pulled out the battery and threw away the phone card. She felt she would never dare to appear before An Yao again. So much heartache, so much heartache. Why was she so stupid to do such a thing? If there was a pill for regret, Yan Xiaomi would really buy a few boxes to eat.
Yan Xiaomi didn’t answer the phone, and when An Yao called again, it was turned off.
An Yao was also quite unsure. Did she really unleash her beastly nature last night and do that to her?
After thinking about it, it seemed wrong. She had originally wanted to top her, but was flipped and bottomed instead. Clearly, she was the one who was done to. Speaking of which, An Yao still felt a bit uncomfortable in a certain area. Fortunately, that fool wasn’t completely useless and knew how to clean up afterward.
Did she scare her away by waking up and finding her gone? Possibly.
An Yao frowned slightly. After all, Yan Xiaomi liked men before, and it was inevitable that she would feel some resistance to doing this with a woman. Due to the influence of alcohol last night, she wasn’t particularly repulsed at the time. But now that she was sober this morning, maybe she couldn’t accept it, and quietly ran away by herself.
If she ran, she ran, but she wasn’t answering the phone and had turned it off. Was Yan Xiaomi being this dramatic? What was she trying to achieve?
An Yao didn’t have much of a reaction to being slept with by Yan Xiaomi last night. She wasn’t angry, nor sad. She knew it was Yan Xiaomi last night, and she wasn’t against having contact with Yan Xiaomi. Perhaps she was lonely for too long and wanted someone to accompany her, which was why she flirted with her under the influence of alcohol. She just didn’t expect the fool Yan Xiaomi to go all the way, making things a bit uncomfortable.
In hindsight, she was the one who started the fire, so there was nothing to be angry about.
An Yao went back to the company after washing up. Unsurprisingly, Yan Xiaomi wasn’t there. She figured Yan Xiaomi couldn’t think straight for the time being. She would go find her after work to clarify things and let her think it over properly.
“Then, if the butterfly encounters a place to rest later, like a small wooden stick or a small island or something, will she choose to rest?”
Who knows? An Yao chuckled lightly.
Yes, who knows if she will just find a safe place to rest when she is tired.
Yan Xiaomi was restless after fleeing to Tong Xi’s house. Tong Xi knew something was wrong when she saw her state, even bringing a bag to seek refuge. She immediately played along, grabbing Yan Xiaomi and anxiously asking, “Xiaomi, did you do something you shouldn’t have? Murder?”
Yan Xiaomi shook her head vigorously.
“Robbery, arson, fraud?”
Still shaking her head.
Tong Xi’s expression became highly exaggerated. She asked in disbelief, “Did you, did you do that to someone?”
Yan Xiaomi instantly turned to stone, looking at her blankly. She thought for a moment: woman and woman, did that count?
“No way. How old are you? We’re young. Can’t you chase people normally? Why were you so impulsive?”
Tong Xi was instantly misled by Yan Xiaomi’s reaction, but then she thought again, Yan Xiaomi wouldn’t do something like this. There must be something fishy.
“Tell me, what exactly happened?”
Tong Xi looked at her seriously, waiting to crack her next point.
“I slept with my boss.” Yan Xiaomi looked at her with vacant eyes, feeling that life was now bleak. After a moment, Tong Xi let out a loud, exaggerated shriek, then slapped Yan Xiaomi on the shoulder and said with a grin, “Yan Xiaomi, you’ve got guts! You actually had the nerve to sleep with your boss.”
Yan Xiaomi let out a long sigh, feeling depressed. “I don’t know who gave me the courage last night. Anyway, it happened.”
She felt that today was truly the darkest day of her life. She didn’t want to do anything, didn’t want to say anything. She just wanted to lie in bed and play dead.
Tong Xi kicked Yan Xiaomi, who was pretending to nap on the sofa. “Look at the state of you, Yan Xiaomi, you’re a coward! Either go find your boss now and take responsibility, or go back to bed and sleep. Stop looking half-dead in front of me.”
Tong Xi couldn’t stand Yan Xiaomi being depressed. Yan Xiaomi was always goofy and happy. Once she became melancholic, she was more downcast than ten depressed people combined; she looked completely lifeless.
Yan Xiaomi stood up and walked towards the door. After two steps, she turned and entered Tong Xi’s room, burying herself under the thin blanket, feeling that even the air she exhaled was heavy with gloom.
An Yao should be awake by now, right? Will she be angry or sad? The thought of An Yao made Yan Xiaomi feel completely awful.
After work that afternoon, An Yao went directly to find Yan Xiaomi, planning to have dinner with her and talk about what happened yesterday. She had been to Yan Xiaomi’s place a few times and could find her way, but when she went upstairs and knocked on the door, no one answered. Not home? An Yao frowned slightly.
Where did she go alone?
Her phone was turned off too. Even if she was very uncomfortable and couldn’t accept it, if she wanted to leave, she should at least say goodbye, right? Besides, she wasn’t the one who was taken advantage of. Why did she suddenly disappear?
An Yao stood at the intersection and looked around, feeling helpless. She checked her phone, then looked around again and got into a car to leave.
Yan Xiaomi slept until three in the afternoon, skipping lunch. Tong Xi didn’t bother to wake her.
Yan Xiaomi got up, rummaged through Tong Xi’s refrigerator, and found something to eat to fill her stomach. Then she opened her phone and almost choked on a cookie when she saw the date was the 26th.
“If you cough whatever’s in your mouth onto my bed, I will kick you out.” Tong Xi’s voice came from the study next door.
Yan Xiaomi quickly covered her mouth, coughing breathlessly. She rushed out and drank a glass of water.
“Are you really doing yourself any good by tormenting yourself like this, Your Majesty?” Tong Xi asked leisurely while working on her comic.
“Tomorrow is the 27th.” Yan Xiaomi said this abruptly.
“What about the 27th?” Tong Xi didn’t know about Professor Yan’s wedding. Yan Xiaomi had to tell her, “Tomorrow is my aunt’s second wedding, and my boss is also attending the wedding.”
Tong Xi stopped working, turned to look at her, and asked with a grin, “Are you going?”
Yan Xiaomi didn’t know if she should go. If she went, she would run into An Yao. If things got messy at her aunt’s wedding, with so many elders present, she couldn’t face the embarrassment, nor did she want outsiders to laugh at her Yan family.
But if she didn’t go, her aunt…
After much deliberation, Yan Xiaomi finally decided not to go. Since she had chosen to flee, she shouldn’t go back, or it would only make things more unpleasant for everyone.
An Yao must really hate her now. Being slept with by such a stupid woman was truly embarrassing, Yan Xiaomi thought so herself.
Sigh, what was wrong with her recently? Whenever she encountered An Yao, she started overthinking things. Yan Xiaomi patted her face, “Stop thinking. The bridge will straighten itself when the boat gets there. It will pass eventually.”
Professor Yan’s wedding was quite stylish. An Yao, as a bridesmaid, stood out in the crowd. Everyone praised her greatly, and many excellent men wanted her phone number, but she politely declined all of them. An Yao scanned the crowd for the short-haired girl but didn’t see her.
“Teacher,” An Yao called Professor Yan, “Do you know where Xiaomi is?”
“Xiaomi? Yes, Xiaomi! I knew someone was missing today.” Professor Yan suddenly realized, “Right, I called Xiaomi yesterday, and her phone was turned off, and it was still off this morning. I thought she would come with you.”
An Yao felt that the situation might be serious. Given Yan Xiaomi’s personality, if she were just angry, she wouldn’t cut off contact with everyone around her.
Or perhaps she wasn’t attending the wedding because she was afraid of seeing her. If she was afraid of seeing her…
“An An, what’s wrong with Xiaomi?” Professor Yan suddenly became a little worried.
“It’s nothing,” An Yao smiled, “Her phone is broken. I’m looking for her too. Don’t worry, I will find her.”
“Okay, I’ll leave Xiaomi to you then.”
Leaving the wedding venue, An Yao was a little panicked. Where exactly did Yan Xiaomi go? Did something happen to her? She went to Yan Xiaomi’s house again, and it was still empty.
She hadn’t been able to reach Yan Xiaomi since yesterday. An Yao had thought she was the only one. She didn’t expect Yan Xiaomi to have her phone turned off for a whole day and night. She knew it was Professor Yan’s wedding today and people would definitely look for her. What exactly was she trying to do?
She had always thought Yan Xiaomi acted without thinking, but she never expected her to be so unreliable. An Yao hadn’t been angry, but now she was fuming.
An Yao calmed down and suddenly wondered why she was angry. Was she angry that Yan Xiaomi didn’t contact anyone and made people worry, or angry that Yan Xiaomi disappeared without a word, or angry that she was worrying about her and even ignored Professor Yan’s wedding today?
An Yao covered her forehead with her hand, annoyed. You idiot, Yan Xiaomi, where on earth did you disappear to!
While An Yao was going crazy, Yan Xiaomi was still lying on the bed playing dead, not wanting to say or do anything.
Shen He came up to cook lunch, and left after finishing. Yan Xiaomi felt too embarrassed to get up at this time, so she waited until he left before going out.
Yan Xiaomi guessed that her aunt would call her because she missed the wedding. She would call her tomorrow and apologize.
Anyway, she was just being a coward right now, not having the guts to see An Yao.
Days dragged on like this. For a whole month, Yan Xiaomi didn’t step out of the door once. Even Tong Xi went out more often than her.
Yan Xiaomi felt she was about to grow mold. She felt like her hair had grown a lot, and she looked ridiculously messy.
Tong Xi dragged her in front of the mirror, “Look at yourself. You’ve turned into this mess in just one month. Are you being dramatic? Can’t live without your boss? Is your boss going to eat you? Do you dare to rush up to her, admit your mistake, and get this burden off your chest?”
Tong Xi scrutinized her up and down, “With your cowardly attitude, I doubt you dare. Yan Xiaomi, I predict if you can’t get over this, you might as well go home. You’re afraid of bumping into your boss every time you leave the house. What are you even doing here?”
Yan Xiaomi instantly stood up, “You’re right. What am I even doing here with this cowardly attitude?”
After saying this, Yan Xiaomi ran to change into a dress, put on high heels, and walked out with her messy, long and short hair flying in the wind.
Tong Xi thought she had finally come to her senses and was going to find her boss. She happily yelled at her, “If she doesn’t want you, I do! You can keep house for decades!”
Yan Xiaomi didn’t go home or to the company after leaving the house. She turned into a hair salon around the corner.
“Beautiful, what kind of hairstyle are you thinking of getting?”
Yan Xiaomi looked at the short hairstyles and then pointed at Faye Wong’s, “I want this one.”
“Ah? This one.” The hairdresser was a little hesitant, thinking that most people wouldn’t dare to get Faye Wong’s super short hairstyle, but after looking at Yan Xiaomi’s face, he figured it suited short hair. The hairdresser nodded and started snipping away.
Yan Xiaomi watched her hair fall in the mirror and suddenly remembered that An Yao had touched this short hair. She suddenly felt a pang of reluctance.
“Master, wait a minute.” Yan Xiaomi suddenly stood up and said, “Master, I’m not cutting it anymore.”
“Not cutting it? Then your hair…”
Yan Xiaomi rubbed her hair with a towel and then combed it. It was half long and half short, looking very funny. Yan Xiaomi found it hilarious herself. An Yao would probably laugh too if she saw it. She would just go see her like this. Whether it was because of longing or guilt, she had to face her eventually.
Yan Xiaomi went to An Yao’s company. Everyone was surprised to see her, thinking it had been a long time, but they couldn’t help but laugh at her hair. Yan Xiaomi was terribly embarrassed. She wished she had bought a hat to wear first.
When she reached her desk, she saw that nothing had changed. Had no one been here for a whole month? Yan Xiaomi’s heart suddenly pounded faster. Her hand trembled a little as she reached out to push the office door open.
Finally gathering her courage to push the door open, Yan Xiaomi immediately walked in, lowering her head, and said, “CEO An, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry…”
