- Chapter 26 - She Was Wet with Anticipation
Only a few minutes had passed since the elevator incident, but Li Mohan’s nerves were still frayed. She stood by the door, too scared to take another step.
If he comes at me again, I’ll turn and run! she thought, her heart racing with resolve.
Her fears didn’t come to pass. Han Yezhen, cloaked in the darkness, sank onto the sofa, his c0ck still hard and aching. He needed a cigarette to calm down. After a few deep drags, he spoke, “Turn on the light and come here.”
Li Mohan obediently flicked on the lights but stayed rooted at the farthest edge of the room, unwilling to approach.
Han Yezhen glanced at her, his eyes narrowing. “Why’re you standing so far away? Close the door and come here.”
His voice was calm but carried an undeniable command.
Li Mohan hesitated, then shut the door. Each step toward him felt like wading through lead, her heart pounding with dread. What if I get close and he grabs me to kiss me again?
Just then, Han Yezhen’s phone rang. He wasn’t going to answer, but seeing Shen Du’s name on the screen, he picked up.
Li Mohan stood frozen, waiting as he listened in silence, finally saying, “Got it,” before hanging up.
He stubbed out his cigarette, his gaze lifting to her. “Go take a shower. After, take your medicine. You’re staying home tomorrow—no school.”
Li Mohan’s fingers tightened, her lips parting. “Little Uncle, my college entrance exams are coming up.”
“With your body like this—low fever, covered in bruises—you think you can focus in class?”
His tone was neither warm nor cold, but she caught the undercurrent of displeasure.
She opened her mouth to argue but found no words. After a moment, she murmured, “Got it.”
Han Yezhen remained on the sofa, his piercing gaze locking onto her. Though he was seated and she was standing, it felt like he saw right through her. “I’ll be home tomorrow,” he said. “For the next couple of days, you’re staying here to recover.”
She’d never spent an entire day alone with Han Yezhen in the same house. After what happened in the elevator, her heart churned with unease.
He’s always so busy, his phone constantly ringing. Why is he spending so much time on me?
She met his gaze, his dark eyes cold and unyielding, devoid of warmth. There was no room for negotiation.
Her fingers curled instinctively, and she said softly, “Little Uncle, I’m going to shower.”
In the bathroom, she pulled out the men’s underwear like a thief, her heart pounding. It was a hot potato, impossible to keep anywhere. That morning, she’d stuffed it in her bag, planning to wash it when she got home.
When she slipped off her own panties, she noticed a small, sticky patch of clear fluid.
He made me wet.
The memory of that scorching heat lingered between her thighs.
The first time, fear had drowned out everything else. All she’d felt was pain and discomfort, nothing more.
Han Yezhen had taken her again and again, relentless and fierce, until her consciousness fragmented, her memories scattered like broken glass.
She’d never even watched porn before, but she wasn’t clueless. She knew women secreted fluids when aroused.
Does this mean I’m… feeling something for him?
The thought sent a shiver of shame through her.
She splashed cold water on her face, but her cheeks stayed flushed, a bad sign. Her body was changing in ways she couldn’t control.
After her shower, she hand-washed her bra, panties, and the men’s underwear.
She didn’t like using the dryer—sun-dried clothes felt cleaner, kissed by sunlight. But the thought of Han Yezhen spotting her underwear hanging on the balcony made her cringe.
In the end, she tossed everything into the dryer.
When she stepped out, Han Yezhen was on the balcony, phone to his ear. She silently thanked her stars she hadn’t hung her clothes out there.
She didn’t head straight to her room. A glass of water and some pills sat on the coffee table—Han Yezhen had set them out for her.
Along with fever reducers, there were the new pills prescribed today, a few extra.
Without overthinking, she walked over and swallowed them.
By the time she finished, Han Yezhen was done with his call. She mumbled, “Little Uncle, I’m going to rest.”
As she turned, his voice stopped her. “Hold on.”
She froze, turning back. “Is something up?”
Han Yezhen’s gaze flicked to her back, his throat bobbing slightly. His voice was flat, betraying no emotion. “I’ll help you apply your medicine.”
