Bro, Don't Study Anymore - Chapter 10
7/09
University A requires a minimum number of extracurricular credits each academic year. The “Youth Development Service Department,” known as the Youth Development Department, is responsible for such activities. Club and department evaluations also depend on the number of activities held each year.
Little Tang joined the “Youth Development Service Center,” where Senior Zhang was a member. This semester, Senior Zhang decided to go big——planning a carnival themed “Childhood.”
Various departments worked together, and the carnival was held over the weekend.
As a department officer, Little Tang’s task was setting up the booth, along with a volunteer recruited from another club.
Their booth’s game was Ludo.
Since it was lunchtime, foot traffic was reduced. Playing a game took quite a bit of time, making their booth less busy.
Volunteers couldn’t play with their phones, so Little Tang started chatting with the senior.
“Senior, do you play games?”
The senior pulled out a ticket covered in stamps from under the table, winking at Little Tang and lowering his voice: “You can take a ticket and go to other booths to play.”
“Volunteers don’t make it hard for other volunteers.”
Little Tang was surprised: “We can do that?”
“Look at that girl over there, she’s a volunteer from Booth One,” the senior pointed to a booth diagonally across, “It’s common practice and helps boost activity numbers.”
“I’ve learned something new.” Little Tang had been eyeing the small prizes for a while, and hearing this, he immediately perked up.
–
It was hot, and after lunch, Senior Song came to deliver a tea drink to a hardworking junior.
Senior Song placed the drink beside Little Tang: “Hello, classmate. Is this game playable now?”
When purchasing materials, following the principle that expenses would be reimbursed by the Youth Development Department, Senior Zhang had bought a giant version of Ludo for parties.
Seeing no one was around, the two of them folded it up and placed it on the table.
The senior stood up and unfolded it on the ground, smiling: “It’s playable, but right now it’s just us two volunteers to play with you.”
With so many people coming and going in the morning, Little Tang had wanted to play but never got the chance.
Now he could play and slack off openly, definitely worth playing.
The three of them each chose a color, picked up the dice, and started rolling.
Little Tang started with a 6, then landed on a same-color space.
The senior was shocked: “Whoa, junior, your luck is amazing! You get what you need!”
Little Tang was humble: “Just average.”
Senior Song’s piece was still struggling, but he remained relaxed, joking: “Can’t win, can the volunteers go easy on me?”
