Bro, Don't Study Anymore - Chapter 12
7/11
The best time to play with your phone—the university final exam week.
Little Tang spent an afternoon looking at two programming error correction questions and then played on his phone for five hours.
“No, I can’t play anymore. Time to study data structures.”
Little Tang turned off his phone and stuffed it into Senior Song’s drawer.
They had initially planned to find an empty classroom to review but found couples in the first two they tried, so they ended up in the lab to study.
Senior Song moved his mouse: “You said the same thing three hours ago.”
Little Tang rolled up his sleeves, aggressively flipping open the data structures textbook: “In two days, I’ll become a data structures master.”
The lab was crowded. The sophomores had a Mao Zedong Thought exam tomorrow, and Senior Zhang was behind them frantically memorizing “The Zunyi Conference,” “Jinggangshan,” and “The Xth National Congress of the Communist Party.”
Hearing Little Tang’s words, he looked up from his computer: “Hey, junior, data structures is passable just by showing up.”
Little Tang was anxious: “Showing up means failing for me. I didn’t attend this class at all.”
Senior Song leaned back in his chair, joining the “group chat”: “You’ll pass, it’s not hard.”
“Senior Song got 99 in data structures!” Senior Zhang announced loudly.
“So impressive, teach me!”
Senior Song met Little Tang’s eager gaze and smiled: “I can teach, but no guarantees you’ll learn.”
“Then forget it,” Little Tang moved closer to Senior Song’s screen, seeing the Mao Zedong Thought study points, he clicked his tongue twice, “Just memorize your Mao Zedong Thought.”
“I’m determined and will pass,” Senior Song sat up straight, ready to continue studying, “Worst case, the teacher will help.”
Senior Zhang agreed: “Our teacher helps out. If your usual score is high, scoring in the 30s can still pass.”
Little Tang asked: “When’s the exam?”
“Tomorrow morning.”
Little Tang gave a sympathetic look: “Last-minute cramming, huh.”

A few days ago, Little Tang was laughing at Senior Song. Now it was his turn to be stressed out.
Little Tang forgot when his Modern Chinese History exam was until someone asked about the key points in the class group chat that morning, suddenly reminding him.
Little Tang flipped through his brand-new book and immediately decided to seek help from the beloved class monitor.
Little Tang’s Bodyguard: [Monitor, do you have any key points for the history exam?]
[【Image】]
It was a picture of the cover of the Modern Chinese History book.
Class Monitor: [According to the highlighted points from the teacher, everything except the cover.]
Little Tang’s Bodyguard: [I can’t believe this!]
Class Monitor: [Why don’t you go to the print shop and buy a few sets of past exam papers, study what was tested, and ignore the rest.]
Little Tang’s Bodyguard: [Good idea.]
Unable to get the key points from the class monitor, Little Tang immediately turned to Senior Song.
“Ge, what are the key points for your history exam?”
“Which history?”
“Modern Chinese History.”
Senior Song finally found the Word file the teacher had sent and forwarded it to Little Tang: “It might be different this year, but you can use it as a reference.”
Little Tang nodded enthusiastically: “Great, I knew senior would have good stuff.”
Acting cute: “Thank you, senior~”
