Bro, Don't Study Anymore - Chapter 24
7/22
The mountaintop had a glass walkway, and after crossing it, they’d start the descent.
The four of them took a break and then walked onto the glass walkway.
Senior Zhang held onto Senior Sister Zhao, never daring to look down. She, on the other hand, was bold, adjusting the angle and settings on her camera, taking photos like crazy.
Xiao Tang gave Senior Sister Zhao a thumbs up again. This senior sister was truly amazing.
At the end of the walkway, there was a staff member taking photos. They took a picture, handed them a ticket, and they could claim a small photo for free.
On the way down, Senior Zhang held the photo, “Sister Zhao, your eyes are closed.”
“Let me see.”
Senior Sister Zhao took a look. The photo was small, and it was hard to see the expressions on their faces clearly. She didn’t understand how he could tell if her eyes were open or closed from the pixels.
“You can tell?”
Senior Zhang took the photo back and kept it, “I just can.”
“Alright then.” Senior Sister Zhao held his hand.

After descending the mountain, the four of them casually called for a sightseeing bus to take them to Yue Town.
Xiao Tang asked, “Should we explore first or eat first?”
Senior Sister Zhao raised her hand, “It’s still a bit early, let’s explore first.”
The remaining two didn’t speak, looking like they were fine with whatever was arranged.
The houses in Yue Town had a quaint charm, lining both sides of a stream that ran through the middle.
Above the water were small bridges and pavilions, with bustling tourists around, and children catching fish in the stream.
Senior Zhang leaned over to take a look, seeing a man-made channel with small goldfish swimming gracefully.
The town was filled with tourists, heavily commercialized, but it was beautiful and fun nonetheless.
Senior Song pointed to a shop beside them, its blue bricks and black tiles, peach eaves, and bucket arches, with a sign for “Mixue Bingcheng” inside.
“……” Xiao Tang laughed, “Mixue is taking over the world. Let’s buy a cup.”
When they ate, Xiao Tang wore sunglasses and held a folding fan, boldly inscribed with the words— “I am handsome.”
Senior Sister Zhao held two dolls that she and Senior Zhang had won from a balloon-shooting game, one each.
They ate hotpot, with Senior Song serving everyone, busy with ordering and getting condiments. Senior Zhang, having just sat down for two minutes, was sent to help by Senior Sister Zhao.
In a private room, the remaining two sat together, looking at the upcoming itinerary.
Senior Sister Zhao asked, “Eating for an hour, is that enough time?”
“I think… I want to eat longer,” Xiao Tang said, smelling the aroma of the hotpot and feeling his mouth water, “It smells so good.”
Senior Sister Zhao handed him two tissues, laughing, “Junior, wipe your drool.”
She also wiped the corner of her mouth as she spoke.
Xiao Tang contacted the driver to delay the pickup time; they were going to have a feast today.
It wasn’t until they actually started eating the hotpot that they realized how delicious it was, truly deserving to be a local specialty.
Senior Zhang, with reddened lips, gulped down a mouthful of sour plum juice, “So spicy.”
Then he continued slurping on some noodles.
Xiao Tang leaned back in his chair, his face red, and patted Senior Song’s hand, “Senior, tissue.”
Senior Song handed him the tissues and refilled his drink.
Senior Sister Zhao put her hand on Senior Zhang’s shoulder, “Look at him.”
Senior Zhang, helpless, helped her retie her loose hair.
He hugged his girlfriend, teasingly, “Song’er, look at us.”
“……” Senior Song gave him a cool glance and then shrugged, “The junior doesn’t allow it.”
Senior Sister Zhao mimicked, “The junior doesn’t allow it~”
Xiao Tang, holding his chopsticks, turned red from his ears to his neck.
Senior Song seized the chance to tease him, holding his hand, “Junior, do you allow it or not?”
“……No, don’t mess with me.” Xiao Tang pleaded.
Senior Song chuckled lightly, putting his hand on Xiao Tang’s shoulder.
“You two old guys, don’t bully us.”
Senior Zhang retorted, “We’re all old guys, don’t exclude yourself.”
“Tell us how you tricked the junior!”
“How did I trick him?” Senior Song countered, “Ask the junior if you don’t believe me.”
Xiao Tang put down his chopsticks, wiped his mouth, and slowly nodded, “I’m the one who tricked the senior.”
“You see.”
