Bro, Don't Study Anymore - Chapter 3
7/01
Halfway through military training, the freshmen had almost torn up the playground.
As soon as they took a break, the sound of pulling grass could be heard everywhere. Some were even digging into the ground as pulling grass was no longer satisfying.
The school-issued rubber shoes were really tough, perfect for digging.
Just two minutes into the break, the guy next to Little Tang had already dug a big hole with his foot and then used his hands to make it bigger.
Little Tang gave him a thumbs-up: “Bro, you’re impressive.”
“Piece of cake.” Saying that, the guy made a fist and stuck it right into the hole.
During the break, they weren’t allowed to use their phones. Getting caught meant losing their phones for half a month.
——As you can imagine, it made people so bored that all they could do was mess around.
Little Tang looked up for his roommate and saw him sitting cross-legged, supporting his head with one hand, his head buried down——
His eyes were exposed, definitely playing on his phone!
Little Tang squinted his eyes, patted the dust off his clothes, and walked over, ready to give him a scare.
Just as he was about to shout that the instructor was coming, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the instructor actually approaching with a bottle of water.
“Whoa, the instructor is really coming.” Little Tang nudged his roommate’s hand.
“For real?” His roommate quickly stuffed his phone into the gap created by his crossed legs and looked around.
Their instructor walked past their class and went over to chat with the instructor from the next class, where several instructors were exchanging secrets.
The roommate breathed a sigh of relief, took out his phone to check the time, and put it back in his pocket.
“Tang’er, I heard the media department is coming to take photos today.”
“The media department” was short for the Propaganda and Media Department, coming to capture the essence of military training for promotional materials.
“Oh, we won’t get a break again.”
The roommate grinned widely: “There must be some senior watching, hehe.”
“Wipe your drool.” Saying that, Little Tang handed him a tissue.
The roommate instinctively took it, then realized and cursed, “Damn,” throwing the tissue back at Little Tang.
Little Tang looked disgusted: “Even if you were cured, you’d still drool.”
The roommate pounced with an elbow strike, and just as Little Tang was about to retaliate, he heard the roommate exclaim, “Hey.”
“Tang’er, look…”
“Take this!” Little Tang threw some grass at him and got up to run, “Do you think I’m stupid? I’m not falling for that.”
“You’re the one not looking.”
The roommate sat there calmly, with a mischievous grin on his face.
Just a quick look.
Little Tang followed his roommate’s gaze, wary of a trick, still keeping some attention on his roommate.
The moment he saw the person, Little Tang froze.
