Bro, Don't Study Anymore - Chapter 4
7/02
Senior Song was wearing a white shirt with a red work badge, holding a camera, standing next to a girl who was chatting with the instructor.
Soon, the head instructor blew the whistle, signaling the resumption of training.
Their class instructor, with his arms crossed, returned with two people following him.
“Class monitor, step out!”
“Here!” The class monitor stepped out and stood next to the instructor.
“First, formation drills, then squats and stands.” The instructor spoke to the class monitor, then turned and raised his voice, “Your academy is taking pictures, don’t embarrass yourselves.”
There were few girls in the Communication Engineering major, only one company, while the boys were divided into four companies, all starting their drills.
The instructor watched from the side, and Little Tang couldn’t spare any attention for Senior Song, following each command meticulously.
After completing all the movements, they started standing at attention again. The instructor went off to chat with the other instructors, leaving the class monitor to oversee them.
The class monitor, firmly believing in the principle of “serving the people,” selectively ignored their small actions.
Little Tang rolled his eyes to look at Senior Song, who was standing diagonally in front of him, looking down at his camera, with a senior beside him.
“How’s the photo? Let me see.” The senior leaned over, and Senior Song openly showed her.
Senior took a look and saw that the photos were good, but why were so many of them of the same junior?!
“No wonder you volunteered to help. I’ve never seen you so eager before.”
Senior stuffed the camera back into his hand: “You old fox, still fooling juniors.”
Senior Song smiled innocently: “Zhao-jie never needed my help before.”
Zhao-senior rubbed her hands together, distancing herself from him: “You owe me during the recruitment this year.”
“Hurry up, you only have five minutes left. Whatever you’re hiding in your pocket, hand it over!” Zhao-senior walked away, cursing with the camera.
“Take care, president.”
Little Tang concentrated, trying to hear what they were saying, but their voices were too low for him to catch anything.
“…… Can’t you speak louder?”
Senior left, and Senior Song, holding the camera, pretended to stroll over.
Little Tang stood at the far left of the last row. When Senior Song came over, he chuckled.
“Really turned into a gopher company, huh?”
The guy next to them, with excellent hearing, quickly glanced at the hole under Little Tang’s feet and tried hard not to laugh.
“……” Little Tang’s ears turned red.
Senior Song didn’t say much more and moved to their rear diagonal where their water bottles were kept.
Little Tang glanced sideways but couldn’t see what Senior Song was doing because he was blocking the view completely.
Soon, everyone left. Little Tang glanced ahead, the instructor hadn’t returned, and the class monitor stood properly at the front.
He quickly turned his head and noticed there was now a cup in that spot.
During the next break, Little Tang unscrewed the cup to see——
Inside the small thermos was ice-cold lemon water.
