Burning Desire (1V1H) - Episode 2: Clear Drunken Memories
Episode 2: Clear Drunken MemoriesÂ
Jin Yan laughed.Â
“Alright!”Â
While waiting for the hotpot ingredients, Jin Yan explained the movie they would watch tomorrow. Huo Cheng didn’t listen closely. He only caught that it was a romance film. His mind lingered on the passionate, skin-to-skin night from a week ago.Â
Huo Cheng pressed his tongue against his back teeth. His dark eyes narrowed. He wanted to fvck her again.Â
But since that night, Shen Yue avoided him completely.Â
Jin Yan noticed his cold, distracted expression and tapped the table.Â
“Brother Cheng, are you listening?”Â
“Yeah.”Â
Huo Cheng sipped water.Â
“So, tomorrow’s midnight showing, third floor of Yuwei Mall?”Â
“No, thirteenth floor…”Â
Jin Yan nagged endlessly. He was unconvinced. It was until Huo Cheng told him to shut up, and he finally quieted down.Â
…Â
“Nice one, Shen Yue. Jin Yan said he found someone,”Â
Han Mengyi tossed her phone aside. She was whistling cheerfully.Â
“It’s fine. You don’t need to find me a date. I’m just here to keep you company.”Â
This was Han Mengyi’s rented apartment. It was close to Shen Yue’s place. Since Tang Wu harassed her three days ago, Shen Yue slept over every night.Â
“Sister, aren’t you tired of studying so much?”Â
“It’s okay. Not everyone’s as carefree as you.”Â
“What’s that supposed to mean?”Â
Han Mengyi laughed and cursed.Â
“Tang Wu didn’t actually hurt me. But Jin Yan, who used to only care about stocks and internet cafes, now acts all attentive.”Â
“Having a boyfriend makes you different, huh?”Â
Shen Yue smiled. She was reviewing a knowledge point in her book. Suddenly, her expression froze.Â
“What’s wrong? What’re you thinking?”Â
Han Mengyi was her best friend of five years. She instantly noticed her mood.Â
“Nothing. Do I know the person he found?”Â
“Jin Yan said you’ll find out tomorrow.”Â
Han Mengyi peeled off her face mask.Â
“Don’t study too late. It’s bad for your skin. I’m heading to bed.”Â
With that, Han Mengyi went to her room.Â
Shen Yue replied softly. She and Han Mengyi were the two renowned beauties of J University’s law department. Birds of a feather, they clicked instantly. They shared everything about studying, dating, and eating throughout college.Â
Han Mengyi had a playful, goofy personality. While Shen Yue was colder, slow to warm up.Â
Shen Yue planned to pursue graduate studies, pass the bar exam, and maybe join a law firm or become a lawyer. Her study schedule and professor lectures were flawlessly organized. It had no room for dating.Â
“Damn it.”Â
Shen Yue’s face darkened. Her mind bitterly imagined crushing a certain someone’s face. Despite her beauty attracting constant attention, she stayed pure. At twenty-three, she only dated once in her sophomore year. She broke up before even kissing.Â
But about a week ago, while celebrating Han Mengyi’s passing of a professional English exam. She drank too much and ended up in bed with a man she barely knew.Â
Shen Yue only knew he was her best friend’s boyfriend’s brother. They met briefly at a senior-year Christmas party, and exchanged contact info on a whim. But they never talked. Who would’ve thought, two years later, he kept appearing in her life? She didn’t exactly hate him. Or else that night, when Huo Cheng carried her to bed, she might’ve smashed a nearby vase on his head.Â
“This won’t do. I can’t let this affect me again.”Â
Shen Yue pursed her lips. She was recalling her sophomore-year relationship. It was when she nearly failed her credits.Â
That out-of-control feeling was unbearable. She needed to steer things back on track before everything went wrong.Â
Shen Yue applied skincare, went inside, and saw Han Mengyi already asleep on the double bed. Shen Yue then pulled up the covers, lay down, and prepared to rest.Â
The room filled with the soft hum of the air conditioner. Shen Yue rolled over. Her mind inexplicably flashed back to that night.Â
Her drinking tolerance was decent—she didn’t ramble or act crazy when drunk. But her memories stayed unusually clear. Every detail was vivid.Â
Shen Yue never imagined that she, the poised goddess of J University, would one day cry out in bed, fucked to tears.Â
Even her struggling whimpers felt like they just happened. It was too clear for a drunken memory.Â
Shen Yue exhaled irritably. It was definitely the alcohol’s fault. She swore never to drink again.Â
Drifting off, Shen Yue fell asleep. In her dream, she returned to that night. She was pinned under Huo Cheng, fucked relentlessly. His lean but not overly muscular body moved over her. Each thrust was fierce. It left her only able to sob and moan…
